Now playing: I'm Yours by Jason Mraz
βββββββββββ
You walked your way to the Home Economics Club. School had just finished and you remembered that you still have something left to do in the said place.
You walked to the door and opened it but once you did, only Yusuda greeted your sight. You smiled at her and she smiled back at you while waving her hand.
"You're early today, (L/N)-san." she spoke out loud for you to hear.
"Yeah. I just remembered that I still have some unfinished project here, you know." you stated, starting to continue on where you letting off on your project yesterday.
You looked at her for a moment before turning on the sewing machine. You started to hum while you sew, knowing that only Yusuda is there with you.
[Lol it rhymed]
"(L/N)-san, I'll be right back." Yusuda mentioned before going out the door. You paid no mind, just giving her a slight nod to let her know you heard.
You tried hard not to think about the club's president, Mitsuya Takashi himself. Although he's a delinquent, he's still very responsible and he takes his studies carefully.
You found yourself daydreaming about him more than usual. From the way he looks to the way he acts. He's just so professional and fine that you'd catch yourself thinking about him every single damn second.
Both of you had a good relationship with each other, sure. He'd help you with some projects and stuff, and sometimes you'd also have these mini tutoring sessions with him.
He's just so perfect.
While still thinking about him, you forgot to focus on your work and it was too late to notice. The sharp sting and the red liquid from your finger is enough to make you jerk your hand backwards, stopping the sewing machine in the process.
You had not made a sound thankfully. You looked at your finger, sightly wincing at the cut in it. It was at that big but just enough to bleed.
You mentally scolded yourself for being so careless.
You got up and washed your hands, trying not to bang your head from the pain. Once you finished, you carefully dried up your wound and placed a bandage on it.
You went back to what you're doing, now noticing another person's presence in the room.
"Back so soon, Yusuda-san?" you inquired.
You heard an all too familiar chuckle not far from where you're seated. You scolded yourself again, muttering about how clumsy you are today.
"You missed her that much already?" Mitsuya joked which made you smile a bit.
You're the one I missed, idiot.
"Sorry about that, Mitsuya-san." you apologized lightly, looking at him.
"You're early today, (L/N). Eager?" he asked, sitting down on his place.
"Not really. The teacher just let us out early." you responded, looking at his eyes from time to time.
'I swear this sight, I would never get tired of looking at.'
He just smiled at you, seeing as you went back to what you were doing. He minded his own business, letting the comfortable silence envelope the atmosphere of the room.
"Mitsuya-san, I was wondering if I could come and see Mana and Luna today." you began, not minding the pain in your finger. "I want to give them something." you smiled.
You especially adored his siblings. Ever since you saw one of them in his house while you were on your way to the school, you couldn't help but give them gifts every so often. You talked to them as often as you could and from then on, they liked you as much as they liked their older brother.
They're just so precious and the fact that Mitsuya takes care of them like the good big brother he is just made you like him even more. Not to mention that his siblings are awfully cute and sweet too.
He smiled sweetly to himself at hearing that. "Of course, (L/N). I'm sure they'll be glad."
He liked you. Not just in a platonic way too, no, no. He knew it was more along the lines of love, although after mulling over it for a long while he decided that it was maybe too soon, for some reason. But he knew his feelings were definitely getting there.
If you knew, he thought.
"Thank you, Mitsuya-san." you smiled.
He looked at you for a brief moment before the door opened again that day, revealing the other club members.
β’β’β’
Both of you are now on the way to his house, on his motorcycle. Your face flushed from the close proximity seeing as your hands were wrapped around his waist. You also had a pair of shorts underneath your skirt so it's good.
You've done this a couple of times before, seeing as you're were in very good terms, but you can't help but get flustered everytime.
He was looking straight ahead so you can't see his blushing state. For him, this was one of the many things he liked. To have you this near to him.
At last, the both of you arrived and you immediately let him go. You carefully went down and he assisted you, not looking at you. It would be embarrassing if you saw him blushing.
He lead you to the door before opening it and all without looking at you. The door opened to reveal his siblings' cute and adorable faces.
Once the girls saw you, they jumped to you and hugged you tightly. You giggled, keeping your balance after you almost lost it.
"Hi Mana, Luna! How have you two been?" you asked, looking at the both of them.
"Hey let's go inside." Mitsuya chuckled, keeping the door open.
You girls went inside and as soon as you did, Mitsuya looked at the three of you lovingly.
"(Y/N)-neechan! We missed you...." Mana spoke while hugging you tightly.
Luna still hugged you, making you smile at the two of them before looking at Mitsuya. He just smiled at you before going somewhere.
"Guess what? Nee-chan has a gift!" you declared, pulling out a cleanly wrapped box from your bag.
The girls' eyes widened as you handed them the box. They looked at you gratefully before opening the box.
It contained some sweets for them, as well as some dresses you had made during your spare time.
"ArigatΕ (Y/N)-neechan!" they both beamed, hugging you again.
Mitsuya peeked his head out from the kitchen, smiling to himself. You look good with kids, he thought. Pretty much so when it's with his siblings.
"Now I have to go, okay? I'll see you again! Be good to your aniki, yeah?" you spoke which made them look at you, obviously not willing to let you go home just yet.
"But... Why not have dinner with us, (Y/N)-neechan?" Luna pleaded, looking at her sister.
"Yeah..." Mana nodded, looking at you with cute pleading eyes.
"That would be nice but-"
"Yeah (L/N), why not have dinner with us for once?" Mitsuya chimed in, looking at you.
"But are you sure that-"
"I insist." he finished before looking at the girls who now had wide smiles on their faces.
You smiled sweetly before nodding. The girls jumped around, happy to have you until dinner time.
"But can I at least help you?" you said to Mitsuya who had a smile on his face as well.
"If you want to."
"Ne, nee-chan, nii-san has a crush on you." Mana snickered, followed by Luna's mischievous smile.
"Oh really?" you questioned, making them look at you with a truthful expression.
"Yes. He keeps on taking about you." Luna whispered, making sure their brother doesn't hear.
You giggled, your face warming up. You wanted to believe that and 50% of yourself did but you're still not sure.
And so, chalking it up to the wild imagination of the girls, you deemed it safer to play it off, for now.
"I have to go help your aniki, all right? Enjoy the treats my lovelies." you whispered back at them, pinching their cheeks gently.
They smiled while nodding. You got on your feet and began going to the kitchen, seeing Mitsuya chopping up some ingredients.
"Hey mister homeboy." you greeted nonchalantly.
He chuckled at your new-found nickname for him before turning to look at you.
"What are you doing here, (L/N)?" he asked.
"I told you I wanted to help, remember?" you asked, washing your hands.
"Yeah but I thought you were joking." he answered.
"Does this face look like I'm joking to you?" you asked him, pointing at your face and making a serious look.
"You look like you're blushing." he stated, making you look away.
"Well, maybe I am! Just kidding." you deadpanned, grabbing a knife.
He sweat dropped seeing the knife in your hands. "It's fine. You can go and play with them." he said, pertaining to his siblings.
"Well, let's just say that they let me help their aniki." you spoke lowly, looking at him.
His heartbeat went faster before turning back to what he was doing.
"But you have a wound, (L/N)." he mumbled.
"Heck."
"So leave the cooking to me, okay?" he smiled.
You nodded but still you stayed there, just handing him what he needs. The dinner is almost prepared, the smell of food entering your senses.
'Mitsuya is a good wife material.' you thought to yourself, admiring the said guy.
"So, what happened to that?" he questioned, pointing at your bandaged finger.
"Oh nothing much. It's really not important." you muttered, looking at it.
"Oh really?"
"Yeah. Not much..." you trailed off, face turning red when you remembered how you got the wound in the first place.
Once the dinner was ready, he set up the table while you went and called the girls. They ran over to the table, taking their seats. They sat beside each other, leaving you to sit beside Mitsuya.
And if you didn't know any better, you would've told yourself that Mana and Luna, two of the sweetest girls you've ever met, were conspiring against you.
They both giggled at you and their nii-san, thinking that you both looked good with each other. You sat beside him awkwardly, keeping your eyes from anything except him.
As you all ate, you talked to the girls from time to time, sometimes even spoon feeding them just because they deserve it. You liked them very much for sure but their older brother beside you didn't say a word instead just settled to listen to you and his sisters talking about the most random things that came to mind, regardless if there was any context behind it or not.
Dinner went by smoothly and after that, you cleaned the table because Mitsuya is still busy telling the girls to go and clean up themselves.
They obliged and soon enough, their aniki tucked them to bed. He went to the kitchen to clean up but as he saw you in front of the sink washing the dishes yourself, he looked embarrassed.
"It's really not necessary, (L/N)." he uttered, going beside you.
"It's fine, Mitsuya-san." you answered looking at him in the process. "And besides, you were busy. I needed to help out since you were kind enough to keep me till dinnertime."
He chuckled at your response, admiring you. He's very grateful to have you by his side even though you knew what situation he's in.
"Dinner was great, by the way." you complimented.
"Thanks."
"..."
"..."
"Well now it got awkward." you stated bluntly, your face heating up a bit.
"Let me help you with that." he spoke, proceeding to dry the dishes.
"You'd make a good husband, Mitsuya-san." you uttered unconsciously.
He blushed red at your sudden outburst, gulping in the process.
The minute you realized what you had just said, you covered your mouth immediately, face flushed and seemingly humiliated. You laughed nervously.
"Well, you'd make a good wife (L/N)." he mentioned, wiping the dishes.
After that awkward exchange of mutual feelings, both of you finished and you got ready to leave. Little to no words were exchanged during the time, both of you too flustered at what the other said.
He went to his siblings room for a moment only to come back out, smiling at you.
"They said that they'd like it if..." he trailed off, not knowing what to say.
"Can I bid them goodbye for now? I'm really sorry about that but I just can't help it." you muttered.
"Yes sure." and with that, he let the door open only to see the little girls standing beside him.
"Goodbye nee-chan." Mana mumbled, going in for a hug.
You hugged them both, kissing their foreheads before bidding them goodbye. They went inside the room again, this time ready to sleep.
"Mitsuya-san, I'll be going now." you claimed, going to the entrance.
"Wait, let me accompany you. It's dangerous for you to walk around at night." he said, secretly worried.
"No it's fine. Besides, my house isn't that far from here." you defended.
"I don't get to do this everyday, you know." he remarked, catching you off-guard.
"...Fine."
The two of you were now outside walking since your house is just a few steps away from where he lives. The air was filled with awkward silence from the events earlier.
"So, you really like my siblings, huh?" he asked, trying to make some light conversation.
"Yeah. They're adorable and sweet. I just... I love them both." you admitted.
"Well, I'm sure they love you too." he grinned.
"Thanks. Oh, I'm here," you spoke, looking at the house in front. "Tonight was wonderful, Mitsuya-san. Thank you."
As soon as you said that, you took your chances and kissed him on the cheek. His mind registered what happened for a moment.
He blushed dark red and so did you. You walked to the door and opened it, going in before saying, "I'll... I'll see you tomorrow, Mitsuya-san."
And with that you went in. He just stood there for a couple of seconds before turning to walk back to their residence while smiling to himself.
He sure does look forward to tomorrow.
