CHAPTER THIRTY-ONE - NOW THE FINAL FURY

𝓣𝙰𝙽𝙽𝙴𝚁

WE WERE ALL TRAINING IN the Loft. "Eat up, guys. You've been in a tough fight. You need to recharge." Fran said. "Oh, Fran, what would we do without you?" Dominic asked as we all grabbed some pizza and Dominic kissed her cheek. "Wish we knew what Dai Shi's plan was." Theo said.

"Well, he's been gathering fear and growing stronger. If he gets enough power, he could raise the spirits of all of his fallen army." RJ said. "And start a new Beast War." Dominic finished. "Great. We barely made it out of the last battle." Lily stated. "Right. If it weren't for Jarrod. That's it! We don't have a chance if we don't have his lion spirit on our side again. We've got to convince him to help us." Casey informed.

That's when the alarm blared. "Go talk to Jarrod. Dom and I will check this out." RJ said. "I told you, it's too late for me." Jarrod was saying to Camille. "No. You're wrong, Jarrod. It's never too late to start over." Casey said. "And whatever happened in the past, the fact is we need you now." Theo said. "The human race needs you. We can't defeat Dai Shi alone." Lily added.

"I was once in your place, Jarrod. Fighting with evil. Where do you think I would be now if the Mystic Rangers hadn't given me a second chance? Definitely not here." I stated. We waited for his answer. "No. I'm sorry. But with all the harm I've caused with it. I'll never call on my lion spirit again." Jarrod said.

That's when our morphers beeped. We sighed as we left. The four of us appeared in front of the masters, RJ, and Dominic. "So you've come to protect your masters, but who is protecting the city from the Rinshi invasion?" Scorch asked.

"You go. We'll take care of Scorch." Casey said as all of them left. The four of us began fighting Scorch. We tried to combine our strength but Scorch dodged it. We all attacked him with our power. "Quadruple-Claw Attack!" Casey shouted as our hands glowed with red, blue, yellow, and green.

"I'm a Phantom Beast General! You can't defeat me!" Scorch claimed. "We're Pai Zhuq Masters!" Lily said. "There's nothing we can't do!" Theo exclaimed. "Right! And now you'll feel our power!" Casey added. We ended up defeating him. We joined RJ, Dominic, and the rest of the masters. "Scorch?" RJ asked. "Scorched. We struck out with Jarrod." Casey replied.

That's when Dai Shi laughed evilly. "I have harvested your fear! Now I have power enough for my final stand! The portal to the Spirit World has opened! The time for the final Beast War is here!" Dai Shi exclaimed as all of the warriors that we defeated appeared. "They're back — The worst of the worst!" Theo exclaimed.

"Come on, team! Let's show them who we are!" RJ said. "Pai Zhuq! Order of the Claw!" We all shouted. We all got out our sunglasses and got ready to morph. "Jungle Beast, Spirit Unleashed!" We all shouted. We morphed as we began roll call.

"With the Strength of a Tiger — Jungle Fury, Red Ranger!"

"With the Stealth of a Jaguar — Jungle Fury, Blue Ranger!"

"With the Speed of a Cheetah — Jungle Fury, Yellow Ranger!"

"With the Fury of a Dragon — Jungle Fury, Green Ranger!"

"With the Courage of a Wolf — Jungle Fury, Wolf Ranger!"

"With the Power of a Rhino — Jungle Fury, Rhino Ranger!"

"Power Rangers Jungle Fury!" We all yelled. The three masters showed up with their Spirit Ranger to join the fight as well. We all began fighting. I was fighting two of the monsters that we fought in the past.

I realized that I was getting nowhere. "I'm so over this! Time to go ancient on you two!" I said as I glowed green as vines started to appear and grabbed both of the monsters. "You know who's magic this is? My boyfriends." I told them as I attacked both of them with my ice power and they fell to the ground.

They got up as I continued fighting them some more. That is until they both got destroyed. Casey, Lily, Theo and I looked up and saw the four masters from the Spirit World. "Master Guin." Lily said. "Master Rilla." Casey added. "Master Lope." Theo commented. "And Master Mao." I finished.

We rushed up towards them. "When Dai Shi opened the portal, we came through it, as well." Master Rilla explained. "I wouldn't miss this battle for the world." Master Mao added. The four masters from the Spirit World began fighting the monsters. We cheered for them as all of the masters, living and dead came together.

"We must reach the highest level of the animal spirits!" Master Mao said. That's when all of the masters changed into their animal form. They all attacked the monsters.

"I'll take those animal spirits!" Dai Shi said as he took all of the masters animal forms away. They all turned back to normal as we rushed over towards them. Dai Shi laughed evilly as he changed into a monster with multiple heads.

"Look at you!" Dai Shi said as all of us gasped in horror. Dai Shi then attacked the masters and us as well. We all fell to the ground. "For too long, the Pai Zhuq school has stopped my plans for ultimate rule! Today I will get my revenge, starting with the Red Ranger!" Dai Shi said as Casey tried to dodge him.

"Casey!" Theo, Lily and I shouted. We rushed over to help him. The four of us dodged him. "There's nowhere to run!" Dai Shi exclaimed. He then attacked us as we fell to the ground. "Now for the final strike!" Dai Shi said. But Camille jumped in front of us as she attacked him. "Please, I'd like to fight with you now." Camille said.

"Of course!" Lily said. Dominic and RJ created their Megazords. Dominic tried to attack Dai Shi but it did nothing. Dominic and RJ got attacked as they got out of their Megazords and ended up demorphing. "Nothing we do can even weaken him." Theo said.

"I can." Jarrod said. "Jarrod!" Camille exclaimed. "We Pai Zhuq have to stick together." Jarrod informed. "All right!" Casey said. "Spirit of the Mighty Lion!" Jarrod shouted as he morphed into his armor.

"I'm here, Dai Shi!" Jarrod shouted. "I knew it!" Casey commented. Master Mao and Master Finn helped RJ and Dominic up. We watched as Jarrod headed for Dai Shi. "He's weakening! Hit him now!" Jarrod yelled. "Only the four chosen protectors can destroy Dai Shi forever." Master Mao stated. "It's up to us." Casey said as the four of us demorphed. The four of us closed our eyes.

"A Pai Zhuq Master doesn't ask. He knows. There is a higher level of our animal spirits." Casey started off. "One that has never been reached before by student or a master." Lily continued. "It's time to push beyond the possible, to our highest potential." Theo finished. The four of us glowed our colors. Casey glowed red, Theo glowed blue, Lily glowed yellow, and I glowed green.

All of us landed our attack as it joined together as he headed for Dai Shi. We ended up destroying Dai Shi as the masters got their animal spirits back. The four of us hugged each other. RJ and Dominic joined us. Jarrod ended up demorphing when he fell to the ground.

"Jarrod!" Camille shouted as she demorphed and rushed up to him. Lily and I were in the kitchen at JKP. "I know you didn't want to work here, Tanner, but admit it — it was kinda fun." Lily said.

"Right as usual, Lil." I said. "I forgot to ask, now that we defeated Dai Shi, are you planning on returning home?" Lily asked. I shrugged. "You know, I've started to like Ocean Bluff. I might just stay here for a while. When are you and Casey finally going to date?" I asked. Lily blushed.

"Actually, Tanner. I'll have you know that Casey has asked me out for Tuesday lunch." She informed. "Took him long enough." I said as Lily chuckled. Flit, now a human, came in with RJ. "And the dough is flying as our two intrepid young pizza chefs work their magic producing pies! What a team!" Flit announced. "Thanks for the play-by-play, Flit." RJ said.

"No problem, boss. Since Camille turned me back into a human, I've got plenty of time to help my friends." Flit stated. "Uh, yeah, let's not tell the customers the part about you being a fly. Come on, guys. The party needs you." RJ said as we left the kitchen.

"Hey, Casey!" Lily said as she hugged him. "Looks like I got here just in time to say goodbye." Casey said. "Goodbye, everyone." Dominic said. "See you, Dom." Lily told him as he hugged him. "RJ." Dominic said. "Take care my friend." RJ said. "Theo." Dominic said. "Stay out of trouble." Theo stated. They both laughed.

"Have an awesome time! Whoo!" Casey said as the customers started cheering and clapping. Fran was sadly reading at a table. That's when Dominic came back in. "You know what? I forgot something." Dominic informed. "Oh, yeah, what's that?" RJ asked.

"That I got Fran a ticket, too." Dominic replied as he held up two tickets. The guests murmured. "Fran... how would you like to backpack through Europe with me?" Dominic asked. "Yes! I would love to. Oh, but first, I've got to go home and get my backpack and my camera and my journal and some extra socks, in case it's cold." Fran said.

"Breathe, Fran." All of us said.

"And with that my Ranger days were finally over..."

"Or so I thought..."
