It's "borrowing" not stealing!

You're in your room with Leo, suddenly your streak glows and your wrist starts aching, black rocks start spouting from every direction.

You look around again to see your outside, black rocks destroying everything in sight.

"(__)! Help me!"

You turn around to see Sophie running from a trail of rocks.

"Sophia!" You shout and try to run to her when someone grabs your arm.

You turn your head to see Frederic.

"You have to stay... AND NEVER LEAVE THE WALLS OF CORONA!"

you scream yanking your arm away and trying to run again.

Black rocks appear from the ground stopping you in your tracks.

Every criminal you know circles around you all chanting, "Choose our side..."

"(__)! Please help the rocks have got worse!" Varian shouts after getting cornered by the rocks.

"No? Really Captain obvious!?" Sophie shouts, backing into the same corner as Varian.

'Andrew,' who is also known as Hubert slowly walks up to you with an evil grin.

"I told you, that you will join  Saporia. SAPORIA WILL RISE ONCE AGAIN!" He takes a swing for you with a sword.

You look down and see a separatist of Saporia necklace around your neck.

"YOU PROMISED YOU WOULD STAY ON MY SIDE WHATEVER HAPPENS!!!"  Varian shouts.

You gasp then try to run over to them both when once again you stopped.

"Stop running my child." A calm voice stops you and everything disappears just leaving you outside in Corona.

You turn around to see your father standing there.

"Father!" You try to run over to him but your feet are stuck to the ground.

"I know you are scared my Starlight... but now it's time for you to make your own decisions..."

Your legs are trembling, "But, what? How? No why? NO WAIT WHAT?! Ugh, I'll get the right question eventually..."

Your father chuckles but soon his face turns back to serious,  "It's time to face your fears my Love, and most importantly, it's time to face your destiny."

You sit up in your bed breathing extremely heavy.

It's been a few days since you got back from the camping trip and since then you keep having dreams like that.

"(__)? Are you okay?" Sophie asks in concern.

"Y-yeah why?" You ask.

"Hmm, I don't know, maybe the fact since we've been back from the trip you've woke up screaming?! Might as well take the job off the cockerel!"

You sigh, "I'll tell you after breakfast, c'mon let's just get ready."

"Rapunzel, you're going to be shadowing us for a few days, while mine and your mother's anniversary is up, you'll be in charge."

You drop you fork shocked.

"For how long?" Rapunzel asks.

"Just for a few days sweetheart." Frederic looks at you in concern, "Are you okay? You've been slightly... jumpy the last few days."

"You can't go!!!" You shout out.

Everyone looks at you shocked.

"I mean, why not spend your anniversary here? We can make a perfect day for you both!" You smile sheepishly.

"I'm sorry sweetie, but we have a perfect spot were going to... but thank you for the offer." Ariana smiles.

Sophie clears her throat, "Heh, speaking about people going away... I and Ash  always go off and explore this time of year, you know when it's not too cold or too hot."

Ariana and Frederic glance at each other then look back at Sophie.

"For how long?" Ariana asks.

"Oh, it's just a day! Then we return!"

Frederic clears his throat, "Well, If it's just a day then that's fine."

Your eyes widen and you're terrified. But why?

"Is there something we need to discuss sweetheart?" Frederic raises a brow.

You glance down saddened, "No... it's fine."

Everyone goes back to eating except Frederic. He knows something is troubling you yet you won't say.

You're in your room with Sophie.

You're pacing up and down while Sophie is just sat on her bed even more concerned about you.

Suddenly you stop pacing and turn to her, "We need to go down there today."

"Today?! Are you sure? I mean how about tomorrow?"

You shake your head, "It has to be today... you don't have to come, because if I'm gonna go down there I'm gonna have to "Borrow" the journal of Herz Der Sonne as well as whatever the other thing is."

Sophie stands up and puts her hands on her hips, "I'm in."

"Thanks, Sophie." You smile.

"Don't mention it." She starts to walk to the door.

"Really, I mean it!" You run up to her.

"Seriously, don't mention it, if the guards hear us talking about it, were long gone. Now let's get a plan figured out."

It's now night, you both had planned this out all day and it's foolproof!

You go over to your closet and grab your Starlight striker mask and your cloak.

Sophia goes over to her closet and gets her iconic Sun slayer cloak.

"Ready Slayer?" You ask with a smirk.

"Depends, are you ready Striker?"

"Ready as I'll ever be. Now let's go."

Leo flies through the window.

"Leo! Are you ready? Remember I'm not doing this for fun... it's for Varian."

Leo nods.

"Good, and thank you, buddy. I owe you one." You pet his head.

Sophie has the same pep talk with Ash.

Now all is left to do is... the dirty work.

The hallways are quiet, but guards still roam on patrol. You toss a coin past the room with Herz Der Sonne’s Journal, alerting two guards as they go to check out the noise.

You and Sophie take a deep breath and tiptoe to the double doors.

Sophie opens up her satchel and picks the locks while you and Leo keep watch. 

Inside the room, you both go up to the podium that holds the journal.

“Have you got the other book?” Sophie whispers.

You nod and swap the books, the other book is just a random book you got from the library that looks identical to the journal, but in the inside was a story about a red-haired mermaid.

Your eyes glance at a portrait of Fredric and Ariana.

“Focus (__)...” You whisper to yourself.

You put the journal in your satchel then you both sneak out locking the door again.

You both sigh in relief. 

“Okay… we're halfway there… Let's go.” You whisper, Sophie nods.

You both sneak to the other side of the castle, two guards, guarded the door that leads to the secret Vaults.

“Alright, you two… remember to grab the keys then make the biggest commotion possible.  be careful.” You whisper.

Leo and Ash nod and run/fly and do as you ordered. 

Ash makes a commotion around the corner while Leo grabs the keys.

He flies back and drops the keys into your hands.

“Thank you, buddy, I owe you big time, now can you go help, Ash?”

Leo nods and flies off, you and Sophie slip into the room, a maze-like passage.

“Be careful Soph, This place will be littered with booby traps.” You open the book and follow the directions to get to the vault safely.

“Don't you think I already know that? Wait… do you think they will have a book about the star crystal down here?” Sophie asks.

“I don't know… though I'm more concerned about how we're going to get out of here. This way.” You point to the left.

The hallway is pitch black.

“Ugh, I can't see a thing. OW!” Sophie walks into a wall.

Your eyes widen in excitement, “I know! Flower… Gleam and glow…”

The stripe in your hair glows, you feel your legs trembling but you continue to sing the incantation anyway.

“Let your power shine… Make the clock reverse. Bring back what once was mine…”

Enough light comes from your hair to see a massive metal door.

Sophie picks it then pushes it open.

You walk in weakened, Sophie follows. You uncover the dome to reveal a withered old flower.

Sophie gasps, “I Dont believe it… it's still here… you were right.”

You nod and slowly walk towards the withered flower. You softly pick up the flower and place it in a glass jar, slipping it into your satchel.

“C’mon, let's get back before they realise were missing.”

Sophie nods as you both walk back to your room.

You sit on your balcony looking through the pages of the journal, you stop on the page you and Varian signed.

You smile tenderly and run your fingers over the page.

Sophie steps onto the balcony with Ash in her arms, “So, when are you gonna tell Varian about our little ‘job” 

“Not yet. We can't let anyone know we stole it.” You slip the journal back into your satchel. 

"Fine, whatever you think is best."

A few days later

It's the day before Sophie and the Royals leave.

Sophie is packing the things she needs for her trip.

You see Rapunzel in the Corridors and run up to her, it's the first time you've seen her since shes been shadowing Frederic and Ariana.

"Raps! I need to talk to you about tomorrow."

"What's that sis?" Rapunzel asks not taking your tone very serious.

"Whatever you do tomorrow... DON'T make any big promises,  you can't keep. Please..."

"Oh, uh, okay sure, whatever you say." She grins. "Hey, wanna get some lunch?"

You smile, "Alright... let's go."

"Last one to the kitchen is a cheese brownie!" Rapunzel laughs then runs to the kitchens.

"That is NOT funny Rapunzel!" You run after her.
