"Gooood Moorrningg sleepy head!" You hear next to you.

You sit up, "What time is it?"

Varian smirks, "Time to wake up! Duh."

You get out of the sleeping bag, "So, what time do you have to leave?"

"After breakfast, could I borrow Sabastian?" He asks.

"Sure! He likes the ride out to old Corona so I don't see why not." You smile.

Someone knocks on the door, "Lady (__), Breakfast is ready at the outside terrace."

"Alright, we'll be there in a minute!" You shout.

You Quickly get changed behind the divider.

"Ready to go down?" You ask while Varian gets changed in your bathroom.

"Mhm!" Varian opens the door while putting his gloves on.

"Alright then let's go."

You're on the terrace with King Frederick, Queen Ariana, Raps and Varian.

"It's the first thing people see when they enter the castle, Dad. I mean, maybe we could remodel it or something, you know, make it warm and welcoming." Rapunzel says.

You see Eugene walking up and you wave at him.

"That archway is an important line of defence, Rapunzel. It must convey strength and security." King Frederick replies.

Eugene comes and sits next to Rapunzel, he mumbles with his mouth full, "You want strength and security, here's what you do..."

King Frederick raises a brow.

"Lion statues! Ooh, ooh, better yet... turn the archway into a giant lion's mouth! No, wait! Let's do the whole lion..."

King Frederick interrupts him, "Thank you, Eugene. I'll take those suggestions under advisement."

"Ahh, teamwork! Up high!" Eugene stands up and raises his hand.

Frederick ignores him and continues eating.

"Your Majesty!" Eugene chuckles.

You look at Varian and you both smirk at each other.

Rapunzel pulls on his clothes and shakes her head.

"Right! You're eating. We're eating. Next time, then. Cool." He sits back down.

You look over again to Varian and smile sneakily, you both kick Eugene making him fall out of his chair.

"Oh, that's it! you two are so dead!" Eugene stands up.

Rapunzel stops him, "Eugene! They're just kids."

King Frederick looks at you both angrily.

You smile sheepishly, "Sorry..."

After breakfast, you walk to the stables with Varian.

"Well, that was pretty entertaining." Varian chuckles.

"See? Told ya life at the castle can be fun. Well if you make it fun." You giggle slightly.

"So when are you back?" You ask.

"Well, probably at the science Expo... but you can come to old Corona right?"

You nod, "I'll come up when I can."

"Alright then."

Varian opens up the stable gate. "Milady."

"Oh, thank you Sir genius!" You smile.

Sabastian sees you and trots over.

"Hey, buddy! Could you do us a favour and I'll promise to get you some apples from the gardens tonight?"

Sabastian nods.

"Oh thank you so much! Could you take Varian back to old Corona? He will appreciate it!" You pet his head.

Varian gets on Sabastian.

"I'll see you two later then..." you smile.

"Yeah... could you come in the next few days to old corona??"

You nod.

"Alright, then I'll cya later!"

You wave and watch them go before walking up Rapunzel's room.

You're next to Rapunzel trying your hardest not to laugh at Pascal with a rose in his mouth.

"You know, Blondie, you might wanna start coming up with lion designs for that archway. I think that idea got some real traction with your dad."

"I'm sure the king loved your idea. You do realize he was just being polite, and probably didn't wanna call you a nitwit to your face." Cass smirks.

Rapunzel gets out of her chair, "Cass! If my dad didn't like Eugene's ideas, I think he would just say so."

"Yeah! And he's never been shy about calling me names to my face before." Eugene smiles.

"Well, before you go and have your royal advisor nameplate made up, you should probably know that whenever the king wants to ignore an idea, he always says, "I'll take it under advisement."

"Ha! Shows what you know! I clearly remember him saying, "I'll"..." Eugene stops talking.

"Oh, no! He does think I'm a nitwit!"

"And there it is!"

"This changes everything! I cannot have a father-in-law who doesn't take me seriously!" Eugene freaks.

"Why not? No one else takes you seriously."

You burst out laughing making Eugene annoyed.

Rapunzel stares at you then turns around to Eugene, "That's not true, Eugene. My dad thinks very highly of you. Though, maybe there are times you could be a bit more selective about the kinds of things you suggest to him. He is the king, after all."

"Et Tu, Blondie? Okay, you know what? It's fine. It's fine. I can fix this. Quick! Name things your dad likes, that I can pretend I also like to impress him!"

The emergency bell rings.

"The emergency alarm!" Cass shouts.

You all run outside in the town. The Captain, Arianna and Frederic are already outside, looking at his statue. The statue is ridiculously decorated and with the inscription 'Equis rules'.

"Equis? As in the kingdom next door, Equis?" Rapunzel asks.

"Mhm." Cass looks at the statue.

"What's that got to do with my dad's statue? Why is it all messed up?"

"Your dad's lifetime rival, King Trevor of Equis, likes to play pranks on him." Captain replies.

"By just drawing a silly face on Dad's statue?" Raps scoffs, "I can't imagine any intelligent person finding this funny."

Eugene looks at the statue and burst out laughing then clears his throat like he didn't.

"Really Eugene?" You cross your arms.

"What! I didn't do anything!" He pouts.

Captain interrupts. "Anyway, King Trevor always manages to thoroughly embarrass your father."

"I can hear you, Captain. And yes, I am embarrassed. Embarrassed for him! Really! The very idea of a grown man partaking in such infantile boobery!"

Rapunzel looks blankly, "I still dont get it..."

"I'll explain it later.."

King Fredrick cuts in, "Trevor has been trying to lure me into partaking in his shenanigans since our youth. Well, I won't partake! Do you hear me, Trevor? I won't partake!"

Later in the throne room

King Fredrick is sat on his throne.

"I must partake! I can't take this embarrassment any longer. Ooh, I need a prank! I must show the people that, despite that sign's proclamations, Equis does not rule!"

"I agree, but how?" Captain looks at King Fredrick.

"Yes, how?" He gets an idea, "By striking against that which he holds most dear! The very symbol of his land!" He laughs.

"You mean, the Seal of Equis? But, Your Majesty, the castle of Equis is impenetrable. In fact, only two people have ever successfully infiltrated their defences. And that's-"

You and Eugene walk past the throne room but back peddle when you see the Captain and king Fredrick looking at you both.

"You talkin' about us?" Eugene asks.

You and Eugene walk into Rapunzels room.

"Blondie, great news! Your dad just asked me and (__) to steal the Royal Seal of Equis for him!" He smiles.

All you can think is how the heck do you keep getting into these situations.

"Stealing from Equis? That doesn't sound like a great idea." Raps shows you both the book of Equis, "Did you know that they have over a thousand guards on duty at any given time?"

"Yeah, we know but I gotta admit even though I hate stealing actually sneaking in without getting caught into places is awesome!" You giggle.

Rapunzel looks at you with a "seriously" expression.

Eugene closes the book, "Yeah, yeah, yeah, we know, but don't you see? It's the perfect way for me to prove to him I'm more than just some nitwit thief!"

"By stealing something?" Raps raises a brow.

"No. By stealing something well," Eugene smirks.

"Hmmm..."

"Hey, come on, it's for the official royal prank! I'm pretty sure that makes it completely legal... ish."

"Oh! Well, then let me come with you. I'm pretty good at surprises." Raps looks exited.

"Sorry, Blondie, but I've assessed the situation, and this is a one-man job. Luckily, Flynn Rider does his best work alone."

You stare at him blankly, "Um, Excuse me? I also snuck into Equis and saved your life since YOU nearly got caught!"

"Alright! Alright, Flynn also has his trusty gal Starlight Striker!"

You smirk, "That's better."

Later on, You Eugene and Fredrick are standing outside with Fredrick in a dark outfit.

You put on your starlight mask and smile at Eugene.

"Let's go, partners!"

"Wait! I'm sorry, you wanna come with us?" Eugene looks at him confused.

"Of course I'm coming with you. You think I'm in the habit of dressing like this? Though this new, dashing adventure suit I had made is quite slimming. I must witness Trevor's humiliation first hand!"

"Ohh... yeah. See, um, ha-ha. The thing is, I was thinking you wanted, you know, me and (__) to do it alone. Uh, not that I wouldn't love to have you along. It's just, you probably have way more important..."

"This is a matter of national pride, son. Of course, it's important. And I specifically said "we" would steal the Royal Seal of Equis, remember?" King Fredrick looks at him.

"I do! I do re... yes, you did say "we"! I thought you were using the royal "we," you know, being king?" Eugene smiles sheepishly.

You walk away and whistle.

Leo comes over. "Hey, buddy!"

Leo takes the mask off your face, drops it in your hands then looks at you angrily.

You pet his head, "Hey, hey it's alright! The king asked us to do this so don't worry!"

He looks calmer then flies back into the sky.

You put your mask back on then go back over to Eugene and Frederick.

"Come on, let's do this! How'd you put it before? Teamwork! Up high!"

King Frederick turns around before letting Eugene high five him.

"Ouch... left hanging... Here up high!"

You high five him and walk to catch up to Frederick.

"Yeah. You know, when you say "Up high," you usually—" Eugene stops talking when Frederick throws a bag at him.

"Okie-dokie, never mind..." He glances down annoyed.

You're all outside the castle of Equis.

You and Eugene examine the guards.

"So, Your Majesty, We've drawn up this map based upon the brilliant way we got into Castle Equis before, to show you how this is gonna go down."  You say while handing over the map to Eugene.

Frederic peeks his head out of the bushes to look at the map.

"All we need to do is borrow a couple of uniforms and waltz right through the front door. Eh?" Eugene adds.

"We're not doing that."

You and Eugene look at each other then look back at Frederick."We're not?"

"Kids, as king I've received top military training. After studying this map, I can say with certainty that what is required here is stealthy ingress." He points at the tower on the map. "And this is the perfect spot to do it!"

You smirk, "How does it feel to be called a kid?"

"Oh be quiet (__)..." He stares at you but soon turns his attention back to King Frederick.

"Your Majesty The northeast tower? The heavily guarded, impossibly fortified northeast tower?"

King Frederick goes back into the Bush, "No one will expect it."

"Uh, I have a bad feeling about this..." you whisper to Eugene.

"You're not the only one..."

You get into a Bush costume with Eugene.

"All is clear. Just follow my lead."

You all start moving until you both see a guard restroom.

"Your Highness!" Eugene whispers.

King Frederick keeps moving when a guard comes out of the restroom.

"Ohh, whew." The guard see the moving bush. "Huh?"

The guard walks over with his halberd until Eugene knocks him out in the bush and changes into his clothes.

You grab the shackles in his pocket and put them on quickly.

Eugene sees what your doing and smiles until he sees some more guards coming while Frederick is still moving.

You and Eugene quickly pull a horse to cover Frederick while he pretends to be taking you away.

"Hello, guards... just caught this kid trying to sneak in." Eugene says sheepishly.

"We'll take her."

"You will what?!" You both stand there shocked.
