WARNING SINGING AHEAD AND A LONG CHAPTER.

It's been 6 months since Rapunzel returned to Corona and Honestly, life has been amazing!

You and Varian are closer than ever, he would protect you if your life depends on it and you would do the same.

Hook-hand left a week after the party and you and all the other thugs decided the best way to say goodbye was a leaving party as well as meeting hook-foot.

Cass became Rapunzel's lady in waiting as well as your guardian so shes constantly busy and hasn't snuck out with you in a while which you don't mind since Rapunzel's coronation is starting today.

"(__) Come on! Get your head out of that journal!" Cass shuts your journal while you're still writing.

"Hey! What gives?!" You shout.

"We've gotta get ready for the welcome ceremony! And the Queen has requested you were a dress for this." She holds up the dress to show you.

"Why do I have to wear a dress? I'm not a royal-" Cass cuts you off.

"Because you're classed as royalty and will still be representing Corona." She explains.

"I'm classed as royalty?" You look at her confused.

"Uh, of course, you are, the King and Queen see you as their daughter as well as Raps, besides you live in the castle so you're representing Corona. Now get change!" She gives you the dress.

"Woah first time you've never thrown my clothes at me!" You go behind the divider and get changed.

"Well, this weekend is special ESPECIALLY Sunday, besides it's just this weekend then you can go back to pants."

You go to the mirror and look at yourself.



"Cass this doesn't feel like me..." you look at her confused.

"It's just a dress, Anyway, you should see your dress for later it's way nicer." She smiles and puts a white bandana in your hair.

You smile at her, "Okay, just for THIS weekend."

"Good now let's go meet Raps she raced Fitzherbert to the wall-" you interrupt her.

"I thought that was our thing?" You look at her while walking down the hallway.

"I wouldn't think too much about it kid, besides after the coronation we can go back to sneaking out and racing to the wall."

"Really?!" You get excited.

Cass smiles, "Yeah, but maybe don't get too excited you've gotta keep calm for the welcoming ceremony."

"Sorry..." you calm yourself and walk with Cass to the Kingdom gates.

"There they are!" You wave at them excitedly.

"(__) keep calm, you've gotta remember your still representing Corona. " Cass looks at you.

"Sorry!" You go red.

Cass grabs Rapunzel before she could kiss Eugene.

"With nothing at all standing in my way..." you hear Raps singing.

You follow behind Cass and Raps while Cass tries to hurry Rapunzel up.

"True there are certain customs I have to follow."

A woman curtsies at Rapunzel. "Curtsy," Cass whispers.

"Several small obligations I can't avoid." She goes over to see a little girl with flowers and the girl puts a flower in her hair.

"Princess time."

After a few minutes of walking your finally back in the castle with them both.

"A few rules to-well, more than a few
Commitments by the score." You look behind you to see loads of footprints going down the hall coming from Raps.

Suddenly a load of maids come to dress Rapunzel up. "Aside from that, I'm overjoyed!"

"This way Princess." Cass hasn't noticed all the maids around her.

"And sure there are corsets and buckles and bows..."

You hold your waist when you see how hard one maid pulled Rapunzel's corset.

"Plus all those names to recall..."

"Jane?" Rapunzel asks.

"Ethel." She sounds slightly annoyed.

"Still I can hardly complain I suppose
This is happily ever after, after all."

You laugh at all the makeup on Pascal's face.

Cass turns around when she hears you laughing probably to tell you to calm down again but instead gets all the maids away from her.

"That's enough, I'll take it from here." Cass adjusts Rapunzel corset.

"How you holding up?" You ask.

"Busy... but busy is good right?" She smiles.

"I'm glad you think so, Raps, 'cause this welcoming ceremony is just the beginning." Cass says while fixing her corset.

"Tomorrow's the festival, followed by the royal banquet, and that's all before the actual coronation on Sunday." Cass now fixes up her dress.

She looks at her bare feet," Oh, come on, really? Look, Rapunzel, I know this princess thing is new to you, but you've got to at least try to act the part."

"Trust me, Cassandra, I know how important this is to my dad." Rapunzel looks at a portrait of King Frederick.

You gaze into your own world, bored of Cass talking about princessy things.

That's until the door slams open.

King Frederick smiles at Rapunzel, "Perfect."

"Hi, dad." She smiles back.

King Frederick starts singing, "And now that at last, you are here in my arms."

You and Cass take a step back to let king Frederick near Rapunzel.

"I won't permit you to fall, I must protect you from all the worlds harms. We'll live happily ever after, after all."

He walks to an open window and shuts it. "Now, as a princess, you are not only representing yourself and the family but all of Corona.

He walks over to you, "And for you (__), I know your not royalty but your still like family and will still be representing Corona just as much as Rapunzel." You nod and smile.

Cassandra elbows you and whispers, "Told ya." You roll your eyes and smile  at her.

"Don't worry, Dad. We won't let you down. But while we're on the whole princess, coronation thingy, I mean, all these royal activities are great, but do you think I might be able to catch a little downtime soon?" Rapunzel smiles.

He goes back over to Rapunzel and kisses her head, " I know this is all new, but you'll adjust."

He looks back over to you, "(__), could you go check on Rapunzel's... Friend. And after that Ariana would like to see you for your dress for the coronation."

You smile and Curtsy, "Of course King Frederick."

You walk out of the room to see Queen Ariana smiling as she walks over to you, "Oh there you are! I was looking all over for you!"

"Oh, sorry I was just with Rapunzel and Cassandra." You smile.

"It's alright sweetheart, could you meet me in your room in ten minutes?" She askes while brushing the hair out of your face with her hand.

"Of course Queen Ariana." You Curtsy and smile.

"Oh, sweetie you don't have to call me Queen Ariana or Curtsy your family! Ariana is fine." She smiles and hugs you.

"I'll meet you in your room in ten minutes then." She walks away.

You get to Eugene's room and open the door to see him looking at himself in the mirror.

"Ooh-hoo-hoo, Helmut, my man, this hat ties the whole outfit together. Now, I know what you're all thinking. "Why is Eugene in such a good mood today?” "I mean, what gives?"

You look around to see some of the thugs in his room. You lean on the wall and wonder what is going on.

"Now that we're living splendorly, Our dreams fulfilled extendedly, Why leave things open-endedly For Rapunzel and moi?"

Tonight I'll hand this rose to her, Kneel down and then propose to her, And give this ring I chose to her!"

You stare in disbelief was he really going to propose to her? On her Coronation?

"Life's gonna be like strawberry sherbet, Once she is Mrs. Eugene Fitzherbert."

"Okay, not great, but how about this?"

"Once she is Princess Eugene Fitzherbert!!!"

"And what better day to propose to a princess than at her coronation?"

You decide it's time to interrupt his fantasy, "Okay, okay, come back to reality Eugene... don't you think you should lay off proposing to her? I mean she's got a lot to handle right now I don't think she'll be up for settling yet..."

"Oh (__) it's a perfect time! Why wouldn't it be?" He looks at you confused.

"Uhm, I've gotta go... but just down do anything you will regret."

You walk out of his room and go to your room to find Ariana.

"Hey, sorry king Frederick wanted me to check on Eugene." You walk over to the bed where Ariana is sat.

"Its alright sweetheart, you seem very apologetic today are you alright?" She strokes the side of your face with her hand.

"I'm fine, I suppose it's weird being apart of a family, I just don't want to mess it up..."

"Oh (__)," She hugs you, "When you're a family you can't mess up, sure you can make mistakes but those can be fixed." She smiles.

"Why don't you try your dress, then we can go through representing yourself at the ceremony." She gives you the dress.

You nod and go behind the divider.

You look in the mirror,
"Woah! This looks so pretty!"

Ariana smiles, "I thought you might like it." She puts your hair in a ponytail and a gives you a choker to wear.

After a few minutes, you and Ariana got to the front of the castle with King Frederick and Rapunzel.

You whistle Quietly hoping Leo might here and come and keep you comforted. And to your surprise, he did and perches on your shoulder.

Suddenly some trumpets start to play and a carriage comes through the castle gates.

"Your Highness, I present Dame Elizabeth Van Hoskins of Rochester."

When the lady comes out of the carriage, You look out into crowds seeing your friends all except Varian, you guess he's doing an experiment and leave it at that when you hear bones cracking.

Rapunzel had given the lady a bear hug...

Raps laughs, "Get in here! It's so nice to meet you!"

You look up to see King Frederick smiling awkwardly while the lady walks away shocked.

"Um, perhaps you should refrain from the bear hugs, sweetheart." King Frederick whispers.

"Oh, no bear hugs! Gotcha, sorry." Rapunzel smiles.

Another carriage arrives.

"I present Lieutenant Commander General James Rutherford-Carver III."

"Phew. That's kind of a mouthful. Is it okay if I call you Jimmy?"

"I would prefer If you didn't."

"Uh, well, welcome all the same then!" Rapunzel smiles sheepishly.

"I present the Duchess of Quintonia."

For some reason, she freaked you out and you don't know why. You pet Leo's head for comfort.

But all of the royals weren't freaked so you just assume you're just scared of the crowds.

"Wow, can I just say, I love your hair. I used to have really long hair too, but..." Rapunzel gets interrupted by the lady.

"This is a handwoven coiffure weft from the finest silk and vicuna fabrics. It designates high social status. You think you'd know that" 

She looks over to you. "Isn't that the theif Starlight striker? Why is she here with the royals?! She should be locked up in the dungeons where she belongs!" You look away into the crowd trying to ignore what she's saying.

You see Eugene trying to get over to you like he always does when your upset by someone but is stopped by the Royal guards.

Rapunzel gets her attention back so she can walk away. "Uh … still. Nice to meet you."

"Sadly not nice enough to wear shoes, I'm afraid." She laughs as she walks away.

Pascal and Leo tweet and squeal angrily.

You get Leo to perch on your finger and pet his head with your other hand, "Its alright buddy."

Rapunzel looks sad and whispers to King Frederick, "Sorry..."

You couldn't wait for the ceremony to be over, after so many snobby famous people you just want some time alone or at least with Cass. But the one person you really needed was Varian.
