Leilani was walking to class when she felt someone grab her wrist.

She turned back to meet eyes with Xiaojun, wondering what he was doing before pulling away from him. "Get off me." she spoke harshly, turning around until she took a quick stop after what he had said.

"Xiuying..you lost the baby?"

Leilani felt the air in her throat get stuck before she turned back around and pulled Xiaojun by his arm, leading him outside where no one was. He could see the distraught on her face as they walked.

"Who told you?"

"So it's true?"

"Dejun, i'm asking you who told you." Leilani stared at him with wide eyes as he was slowly putting the pieces together. How she would leave class to go to the bathroom, how she was always tired or how she was always hugging herself from the pain in her abdomen.

"Lynn said she—" Leilani cut the boy off with a slap on his face. "Fuck both of you. Seriously. Now where is Jiayi?" she asked him as he looked at her confused, rubbing the side of his face from the pain. "I just saw her in the lounge with Seina—"

Leilani then turned on her heel and left Xiaojun without another word. He watched her figure disappear back into the building, only still processing what he was told.

The girl quickly found Jiayi and Seina together, she couldn't tell if the younger girl was apart of it too or if oblivious to the whole thing. Jiayi noticed Leilani walking towards her, raising her head up before she felt a sharp sting on her cheek.

"Is there something wrong with you? Do you think you're funny invading other's privacy?" Leilani tried keeping her cool, after all, she was still on campus and one thing she didn't want was being kicked out of school. Seina looked at the two with wide eyes before glancing to Jiayi.

"Nothing's wrong with me, I just want what I want." Jiayi stood up, smiling as if nothing happened before slightly crouching down towards Leilani's stomach. "I bet mommy's going to miss you!" Jiayi chuckled before walking away, leaving Leilani speechless.

Seina only stared at her friend in shock before glancing over to Leilani. She noticed how the older had tears in her eyes, clenching her fist before releasing them and turning the other way. "Leilani, i'm sorry about her! I don't even know what's going in through her head right now and—"

"You're fine, it's not you, so you're fine."

The nineteen year old girl watched in sorrow as Leilani walked out of the building without another word. Seina couldn't understand how her friends, Jiayi and Lynn, could be so cruel to someone they don't even know.

"Xiuying Wong?"

It was the day she had went to the doctors with Kiyomi. She was nervous about what she was going to hear. She had done a few test, made sure everything was alright before they had to call her up again. Leilani held onto Kiyomi's arm, not wanting the older to leave her side.

"Did you know you were pregnant..?" the doctor asked as she closed the door. Leilani shook her head no, trying to read the expression on the doctors face. "I'm sorry, but you were experiencing miscarriage." Kiyomi felt the girl beside her squeeze her arm tightly.

"Can you tell me how many weeks I was?" the girl asked softly. "Just around seven weeks. The main factor of it was your weight. From last year until now it seems like you've lost a ton of weight which is a high leading cause of some miscarriages. Do you want me to give you some time to think about what I said?"

"Yes please.."

Once the doctor left, Leilani immediately bursted into tears. Kiyomi only hugged her, she didn't know what to say after all. "I didn't even know, I wasn't even experiencing symptoms until a few days ago.." Leilani cried, gripping onto the older's shirt.

"Please stop hurting yourself, Lani. After this i'm going to take you out for lunch and I want you to eat as much as you can, okay? I'll even help you cut the pieces for you." Leilani heard Kiyomi say, smiling softly before speaking. "I'm not a child."

"Well you're my child so please..I want you to be healthy. Don't think of Xiaojun and his rip-off version of you." Kiyomi said, making Leilani to laugh hard. "I'm being serious! Just think of yourself, it might be hard at first, but I know you can do it."

A few minutes later the doctor knocked back on the door as Leilani said for her to come in. "Hi, I hope you've talked things out. This will be the last thing I say before I can let you two go." she started to say. "I want you to avoid any exercise, sexual intercourse and to just rest yourself. Your body is still in pain so laying down in bed will be the best option."

Kiyomi looked over to Leilani who was listening intently to what the doctor was telling her. She knew that the girl was heart broken inside and she couldn't do anything to help it.
