Ivy's Perspective:

Upon awakening from her slumber, Ivy realized that it was Christmas day. She expressed joy as she had not experienced such restful sleep on a holiday in quite some time. As she descended the stairs, she observed Connie preparing hot chocolate for the two of them. Connie presented Ivy with a mug of the warm beverage, which Ivy received with gratitude. She savoured her slice of toasted bread and relished the rich, sweet taste of the hot chocolate that surpassed that of her parents. Ivy reflected on the fact that it had been several months since her parents passed away.

Connie inquired about Ivy's well-being, and Ivy responded that she was lost in thought. Connie wished Ivy a Merry Christmas, and Ivy reciprocated the greeting. After finishing her hot chocolate, Ivy peered outside and beheld an extraordinary sight: snowflakes were falling unusually, and the world outside was blanketed in white. The trees, roads, and people were all covered in snow. The warmth of Connie's home was a welcome contrast to the chilly outside. Ivy noticed Connie leaving the house with her boyfriend, and she smiled warmly. She resumed drinking her hot chocolate, which gave her hands some warmth in the cold.

Suddenly, the phone rang, startling Ivy. She answered the phone and heard Sheldon's voice on the other end of the line.

He spoke in a gentle, slightly raspy tone, "Hello." Ivy greeted him with a warm and welcoming smile, though he couldn't see it. "Good morning, Lee," she said, her voice slightly husky as well. Sheldon asked in a soft tone, "Did you have a good sleep? Did you dream of me?" Ivy blushed and chuckled, "Maybe, why do you ask so suddenly?" Sheldon replied, "Just curious, because I dreamed about you." Ivy's smile widened as they remained silent, their eyes locked in a moment of mutual happiness. They had been together for quite some time now, and they hoped it would last forever. "Maybe I could come over to your place later?" Sheldon asked, his voice tinged with shyness. "Of course," Ivy said lovingly, her heart full of anticipation at the thought of spending more time with him.

The snow wasn't stopping any sooner, Ivy and Sheldon were having their alone time in Connie's house, since Connie was out. It was just the two couples alone, under the snow.

"Oh, come now, Lee. Don't say that --- " Ivy starts to smile warmly.

"Why not? Maybe someday on my birthday, we can go out to a museum, and learn about anything particularly related to science! It is my birthday, and I get to decide." he said, agreeing on his decision.

"I suppose that would be quite fun learning something. But why not, you know ... go out, just the two of us, as a date?" Ivy states.

Sheldon gazes at her, seeing her flutter to his as her eyes were only lingering on his. Maybe it was not such a bad idea to go out on a date just the two of them.

"I guess, maybe a date on my birthday would do great." he lightens up.

Ivy and Lee were having a nice chat with each other, laughing, some comfort together, and maybe, a bit of kissing between the two couples.

Lee and Ivy were having a long kiss, until the door opened instantly, causing them to jump and go back to their positions, looking around like they were not doing anything at all. They heard the door open to relieve Connie, as she removed her winter coat from the long walk and date with her boyfriend.

"Hello, Meemaw," Sheldon responds in his husky voice as usual.

"Goodness me, Shelly. You scared the hell out of me --- oh, am I invading your privacy with you two?" Connie slightly smirks at them.

"N-not really, we were just finishing up our --- conversation, right?" Ivy looks at Lee, and he nods, their cheeks are flushed red, but Lee's cheeks are more reddened than Ivy's.

"I see ... anyway, dinner will be ready at the Cooper's, get both your asses up now," she informs them. "And enough flirty, you lovebirds."

As Lee and Ivy made their way to Sheldon's abode for a dinner feast, Ivy found herself satiated and subsequently proceeded to explore Sheldon's train collections in his room. The trail was set in a loop, with various embellishments such as decorated trees, buildings, and figurines that added a playful element to the display. Ivy's countenance radiated with warmth as she delicately manoeuvred a train that had been placed off its track. While Sheldon was occupied in the bathroom, Ivy's gaze fell upon the posters adorning the walls of his room. Among them were depictions of prominent scientists such as Albert Einstein, Charles Darwin, Isaac Newton, and Stephen Hawking. Though one poster eluded her comprehension, Ivy disregarded it and settled down on Sheldon's comfortable bed, awaiting his return.

As Missy approached Ivy, she noticed something was wrong with her friend. "What's wrong, Missy?" she asked with concern in her voice. Missy hesitated for a moment before replying, "Sheldon wanted you outside," and then quickly left Ivy behind.

Ivy stepped outside and saw Sheldon standing there, hiding something behind his back. Confused, she approached him cautiously, and they just stared at each other in silence for a moment. "You wanted me?" Ivy asked in her pure, soft voice, breaking the silence.

Sheldon stuttered nervously before finally speaking, "I-i ... this might sound unexpected, but I bought these for you ... " He then revealed a beautiful bouquet of pink, exquisite flowers from behind his back. Ivy gasped at the sight of the flowers and her lips curled up to a smile as she took in their fantastic fragrance.

"Well, thank you very much, Lee," Ivy said gratefully, beaming wholeheartedly at him.

Sheldon continued, "And ... it's not just really that I wanted to talk to you ... I wanted to tell you how much I adored you since Missy introduced me to you. I wanted to say that I ... I really, love you." His confession left Ivy stunned and speechless, unsure of how to respond to the unexpected declaration of love.

"W-wow, Lee. I guess I can say the same to you ... "

Sheldon's gaze lingers above the two of them, as Ivy looks up too, realising there is a mistletoe appearing underneath them.

"A mistletoe," Ivy replies. "You know what that means?" she looked down to Sheldon, as he looked at her and shook his head.

"I know that mistletoes are parasitic plants of the families Loranthaceae, Misodendraceae, and Santalaceae, but I don't know what it represents your smirking," he said.

"It means, two people under a mistletoe must kiss, Lee," Ivy explained.

Lee was shocked, and his eyes glanced down to her lips, and her eyes again, his brain completely confused about what he should do. He never expected Ivy to be this flirtatious around him, and his heart seemed to panic in such an instant way as his cheeks were flushed red now. But Ivy leaned in instead, and Lee seemed to enjoy it as his tongue twirled with hers, biting her bottom lip gently, the mistletoe growing stronger as the couples continued to kiss under the mistletoe, in the snow, dark misty sky.
