Missy and Rose got ready for their ball as they put on their dress, makeup, accessories and whatever more. They arrived at the gym where the ball would be happening at.
Tonight was going to be the greatest night Rose and Miss would ever experience, they went to the gym quite early because Missy wanted to see her friends early. However, Rose, explored the party for a while, noticing a beautiful flower she saw in the glass pot and plucking it out to examine it closely to distract herself from her surroundings.
Sheldon's Perspective: [I know, right :D]
At least I offered to stay and help myself get dressed.
I, however, wanted to get there late, because I was busy doing my stuff with the science equipment etc. I dressed up in a black tuxedo, fixing my black ribbon, and my hair combed neatly, and just to be honest, I looked flawless, to say the least. I didn't want to go, but honestly, since Rose and Miss were there and teased me a while ago to go or else I was doomed whatsoever, I dressed up in whatever suit I could find from my closet.
"Oh, my heavens, Sheldon." my father complimented me. "What happened to the little kid Sheldon before?"
"Oh, the before me? That's not who I am, dad. I am now the teenager Sheldon self." I said in a cold and voice.
"Come on -- oh goodness me, Shelly! You look alluring in that suit, Sheldon!" my mother said to me.
"Mom, when we get there, can you not call me 'Shelly' anymore?" I reminded her.
"Of course, honey, I won't!" she promised me.
As I and my mother hopped in the car, it was a long driveway to the school gym where I used to do my gym exercises back in those days, I looked so young back then. But now, that's not the kid Sheldon anymore. I, Sheldon Lee Cooper, am now proposed as a true teenager who developed a deep voice, entered puberty, and changes in myself these days. However, my mind travels to Ivy, I wonder what she would look like. I had not seen her dress yet, and I was curious what she would wear. Maybe something that looks sublime on her, and some natural makeup that Missy also uses a lot. But honestly, maybe today was the time to do . . . it.
"Mom," I responded in my deep, uneasy voice.
"Yes, honey?" she replied to me.
"I was curious, what happens if I start to like someone? You won't be mad at me, won't you?" I asked her warningly.
My mother sighed, and looked back to the road, "Honey, you are a teenager, to say it, and maybe it is alright to like someone your age, not like your older brother, Georgie who liked someone 10 years older than him. But, sweetie, love someone who you cherish the most. I don't care if it breaks my heart, do what your heart and mind say to you." she said, her voice almost cracking.
I sighed, I knew it would make my mother broken, "I'm sorry, Mom, it was only a question."
"It's alright, honey," she responded to me. "Just do what makes you happy, alright?"
I nodded and saw we had made it here from the high school gym, my mother parked it up front, and we went out to walk toward the gym prom. I wasn't invited, but Missy decided to invite me, as her sister since no one asked her out to the prom. Rose told me she wanted to go alone, and I frowned slightly when she said the word 'alone'.
As we entered the ball, there were millions of people my age, everyone dancing, fooling around, talking and chatting for ages. And I saw Missy wearing a fabulous pink dress, her hair curled down, with a bit of natural makeup on her face, she looked stunning since she was my sister.
Then, I saw someone wearing a blue dress replenished with blossom designs, her hair also swerved through brunette, I assumed that individual was knowledgeable from my presence. Until it was . . . Ivy. I could not believe she looked fabulous in that dress, the background from my vision was clouded and only illustrated her with my eyes. She looked like she was having fun, her delightful smile, and her laugh of far from here were what I couldn't anticipated. Ivy looked like someone different I could never fantasise in my eyes, she was a different person, yet someone appealing and engaging. I could not help but smile to myself, and wonder; 'What in the world is wrong with me for falling someone as a fool, yet someone smart like me?' Ivy was the friend I could never have until it did happen. Since she became my companion, we have been closer than before, and we were acting more affectionately towards each other, it was affliction and awkward, but we, held hands, hugged, and she kissed me on my cheek. I wanted her, only mine. I had to admit, I had a terrible crush on Rose Ivory Buck.
We then met eyes, and I smiled for the first time in my life. She only made me happier than I anticipated it to be, she smiled back and slightly waved at me, a sign she was saying hello to me. I approached her and we held eyes, I was inches taller than her, Missy and I were the same height, but me just being taller than Rose was making me feel like not being left out anymore.
"Hey," I replied rather uneasy but in a happy tone.
"Hey too," she replied back, I saw her fingers twirling each other, "what brought you here?" she asked me.
"Missy invited me, did she not tell you?"
"No, she never did," she stutters, almost.
I noticed that our faces were meters apart, and the background music was making our talk better than I imagined it to be. If we were alone, then maybe we would not be so nervous about each other then.
"Would you care to dance?" I ask her.
"You hate dancing, you told that to me," she said.
"Yeah, I do, but I never said it was my phobia," I said, offering my hand to hers.
She sighed, and smiled slightly, taking my hand, as I placed my hands on her waist, and she wrapped her hands around my neck, the song turned to a slow song. Making it more ideological than ever I would visualise it, again.
"This is kind of awkward," she replied, her voice sounding like she doesn't quite feel satisfied around here.
"Can agree too," I replied. "Hey, Ivy, there's something I've stood desiring to tell you since," I said, ready to say it as we let go of each other, only gazing at her.
"Yeah?" she asked me politely.
I paused, noticing myself staring at her, I stared at her with tenderness in my eyes, I couldn't say it because what if she didn't like me back? I mean, we have been together as best friends since then, but what if?
"Ivy . . . "I said nervously, "I think . . . I think I want you,"
She paused, and gave me the eyes, "w-what?" she stammers.
"What I mean, is that I like you, I liked you since you made me fall for you, I did not like it, and I have to be honest, I had a horrendous crush on you, Ivy," I confessed.
"Y-you like m-me?"
"Yes, Ivy! I do, and don't make me repeat it again -- "
Suddenly, I felt something from my lips, something soft I had never felt in my life, a soft lips. I gasped, and my eyes widened, she was kissing me, and I loved it, and I kissed her with whatever I could do to her. She was finally mine, I couldn't believe it would happen so soon. But, it did.
As we soon finished, our foreheads were touching, and we silently giggled at each other.
"So, you do like me, huh, Lee?" she asked me again.
"I do, Ivy. I really do." I replied and continued to kiss her with whatever I could do. I could not care less if everyone was staring at us, including my sister, I finally had Rose, my flower.
I finally did it.
