I woke up really early thanks to my mother, I guess she had overheard Aizawa telling me he would help me with my tie if I got there early.

"Ryuk... Ryukkkkk... Ryuk!"

"Oh- morning momma, god what fucking time is it..."

My mom was startled by my sudden awakening once she processed me sitting up so suddenly with still no facial expression she scolded me for my language under her breath as I check my phone.

'FIVE FUCKING THIRTY?!'

My face shows no emotion but eternally I want to go back to sleep, I start to pull up my blanket again when my mother pulls it away and yells.

"Nuh uh mister! you have to get there early for Aizawa to show you how to tie your tie!"

I groan slightly and stand up, my mom's scolding face disappears just as quickly as it came and was replaced by a soft smile as she grabbed my face and kissed me on the cheek.

She walks out my door as I grab my uniform, socks, and boxers and head to my bathroom, I get dressed and proceeded with the rest of my routine. I brush my teeth as I scroll through Youtube to find a good video to watch while I get ready. I end up clicking on a history video of plague doctors.

History videos like the one I'm watching helped me make my hero costume which I pray to whatever beings are out there that the support course didn't mess up.

I arrive at school way earlier then should be allowed apparently the Iida kid arrives before even Mr.Aizawa does from what I overheard he arrives at four in the morning. Some people truly are crazy.

As I tiredly stumble through the empty halls since nobody was around I didn't have to worry about appearances. Knowing the overwhelming kid named Iida was most likely already here I took the longest path I could to class while scrolling on my phone and listening to music.

"Sunshine...'

I sighed as I arrived at the tall door and already heard Iida talking loudly, I opened the door immediately seeing Iida standing in front of Aizawa's desk seeming to be worrying over him while moving his arms all around.

"Ah! Hello Onimaru-"

"I prefer Ryuk... Iida" It took me a second to remember his name but he doesn't seem to notice.

"Of course, I deeply apologize!" He bows deeply and stands back up and before I could tell him it's alright he was talking again.

"I'm just shocked currently! Mr.Aizawa is sick and still came to school!"

I look at Aizawa and immediately notice he looks like... Shit.

"Yeah... I can tell."

Aizawa glares at me but my face doesn't change like usual, he stands up from his desk and takes a few steps towards me as Iida spews about personal space since Aizawa is ill.

"It's fine Iida I'm immune to sicknesses."

Iida then goes out to speak about how helpful that is before Aizawa shuts him up by talking in a raspy groggy voice.

"I've been waiting for you, Usually I would hate to do this. But I need you to get rid of this."

He points to his throat and I get the message. He needs me to get rid of his cold I warn him as I roll up my sleeve.

"Sure. But I have to tell you this might damage your immune system I can't figure out why yet, but most people I heal from sicknesses have lower immune systems compared to before. It's nothing deadly you just might want to be careful."

He nods as I place my hand on his forehead Iida watches amazed as black energy seems to fall out of Aizawa and spread over my hand for a second before disappearing.

I removed my hand from Aizawa and he clears his throat before speaking.

"Thanks, kid-"

His voice is completely back to normal, his eyes widen for a second before going back to normal as Iida starts praising me and moving his arms robotically as I repeat 'thank you' over and over.

"Now Iida you never saw that and I never got sick, got it?" Aizawa's eyes turn red and his hair floats as Iida does a salute and replies.

"Yes sir!!!"

"Same for you Ryuk. Did you bring your tie at least?" I nod and reach into my pocket and pull out a red semi-wrinkled tie.

Aizawa grabs it from me and puts it around my neck, he tells me to watch and slowly ties the piece of fabric, just before he tightens it he undoes the knot and re-ties it while slightly mumbling the instructions. Finally, he ties it and looks at me.

"You got that?"

"Yes sir"

"Good because I'm not showing you again."

"How noble of you Mr.Aizawa!"

Aizawa waves off Iida and sits back down at his desk but quickly his attention is torn from work once more as he heard me snap rather loudly.

"Shadow come forth my bird of the night."

I say quietly and lift my arm as feathers suddenly summon and group to create a crow on my arm, my first ever crow who has grown up with me. Shadow is extremely intelligent he can keep track of time with no clock and acts like a timer for me occasionally.

"Hello, Shadow."

He has learned to mimic my voice over the years and responds in my voice just slightly deeper and gravely.

"Hello, hellooo, hello"

Shadow tends to repeat his words and sometimes drags them out, still ignoring Aizawa's skeptical look and Iida's babbling I instruct him.

"Remind me in 2 hours 30 minutes to use the energy I stored."

He squawks in agreement.

"Why do you need to use it?"

I hear Aizawa's questioning voice as Shadow moves to my shoulder.

"My drawback is if I don't use energy from the injuries I collect in 3 hours from when it's collected it's permanently stuck to me. I don't want a cold for the rest of my life."

Aizawa hums and Iida speaks more on how responsible I was for giving myself an extra 30 minutes from when Shadow reminds me, which I did to give myself thinking time or some wiggle room if I'm in a situation I can't use the energy.

I yawn as Shadow cuddles into my neck his black feathers surprisingly soft, I slowly walk to my seat in the very back and scratch Shadow as I ask him a question.

"Think you can keep track of two things?"

"Of courseeeee, Of, Of course"

"When the loud bell rings wake me up okay?"

He chooses not to speak and just squawks I reach into my backpack and pull out a black drawstring bag, Shadow sees it and hears the movement, and happily flaps his wings.

The bag is filled with a mix of a few different snacks for my crows, I pull out around half a hand full and lay it on my desk as I rest my head in my arms.

I fight the muscles threatening to smile in my cheeks and instead give shadow a few more pets before closing my eyes and hearing Shadow speak in a tone almost similar to Aizawa. Like he just barely learned how to speak in his tone.

"Good- Goodnighttttt Ryukkkk- Ryuk"

And with that, I feel sleep take over my body.

I was woken up by Shadow rubbing his head and wings against me and saying my name in my voice. I give him more pets as I hear the class start to walk in.

We have English class then go to lunch and now finally it's the part that actually matters. Basic Hero Training.

All Might busts through the door as everybody yells but I focus on Shadow until All Might starts speaking.

"Welcome to your most important class! where you learn the basic of being a hero!"

He does a half spin and pulls out a card that says 'BATTLE' and continues speaking.

"Today's lesson will pull no punches!!!"

'fight training excellent.'

"But one of the keys to being a hero is looking good!!! These were designed for you based on what you sent in. Get suited up!!!"

Now i must explain your hero costume. You can mostly make it up yourself but there are some basics you will need to include in your imagination.

You will be required to have the cape that Eileen the crow from bloodborne wears, fabric at the top feathers for the bottom.

You will also need the hat from this picture, you can take creative liberty with the mask for the most part but it will be all black and obviously in a bird shape.

Now for under the cape you can imagine anything you want but it will hold medical supplies and a couple weapons.

this is what I will personally imagine but you can change it up.

-BACK TO RYUKS STORY-

"They say the clothes make the pros and behold you all are the proof. Take this to heart. From now on you are all heroes in training!"

We all walk into the training ground and I must say I'm very happy with my costume, my boots don't make any sound as I walk just as I requested.

"You all look so cool! Now let's get started, you newbies!"

All might yells, as I still admire my state-of-the-art costume. I remember designing my costume with my mom, which was very helpful considering my mom went to college for fashion (which is where she met my dad, but he was a med student.)

I hear running and turn around to see Midoriya arriving from the tunnel, his hero suit looks a little ugly in my opinion but I decide to stay quiet since I can tell he enjoys his costume.

Uraraka stands beside me as she greets him, I made eye contact with those green eyes so it would be awkward to not at least wave.

"Hello, Midoriya."

"Hey Deku! Love the costume! I should've been more specific about what I wanted... This costume is way tighter then I wanted!"

"I think you still look nice."

I say I can't tell if her cheeks turn more pink with the dark lens of my mask but she thanks me before blanking.

"Thank you... Uhm- who are you?"

Right, nobody can tell who I am considering my whole body is covered.

"Ryuk."

She starts profusely apologizing before she and Midoriya start complimenting my costume.

"You look so cool! Wait, are your lenses tinted?"

Midoriya questions after he notices the weird reflection in the glass.

"Yeah kinda, they are designed to show heat signatures even through walls, they can show the coldness of something too, in case I have to recover bodies..."

Despite the last part being slightly morbid Midoriya's eyes sparkle as he takes in the rest of my costume, he was about to speak before All might interrupted.

"It's time to start!"

Of course, before All Might can get another word Iida speaks up... Like usual.

"Sir, this is the entrance exam city, does that mean we're fighting for robots?"

'I didn't even notice this is the entrance exam area.'

"Not exactly, I'm moving you 2 steps ahead! Most of the villain fights you see are outside, but statistically speaking most of the more troublesome fights happen indoors."

"Think about it! Home invasions, underground lairs, and smart villains hide in the shadows. Im going to spilt you two into groups of bad and good guys! and have you fight indoors!"

Classmates erupt into question before All Might explains the basic mechanics of what we're doing, I was about to ask what I should do considering it's uneven, and I'm number 21 before Iida does it for me.

"But what about Oni- Ryuk? Is he being left out?"

"Ah, that reminds me! Aizawa requested Ryuk goes solo! As a hero, he will fight two 'villains' at once, by himself!"

"Okay."

The whole class looks at me and some praise me for my bravery (like how Kirishima is screaming about how manly I am) and some show concern like Midoriya who's asking if I'm okay with that.

"I'll be fine but thank you for the concern. Plus I'm never truly alone."

Midoriya smiles as he sees crows appear behind me.

"SO MANLY!!!"

Midoriya's battle was interesting, to say the least, his broken and battered body had to be brought through the monitoring room before he could be brought to recovery girl.

Everyone looks sadly at the teenage boy form on the stretcher as I walk up to him ignoring All might, the hero tries to grab my shoulder to tell me to stop but he's stopped by a murder of 5 crows blocking his hand from my body.

I have 2 extra crows holding off the transport robots as I put my gloved hand on Midoriya's chest and murmur under my breath.

"Make your pain my power and awake the birds of the night."

I close my eyes and feel an immense amount of power flow through my body, I stop before I can heal the broken bones.

"Healing takes energy and his body is already exhausted if I healed any more he would die."

I grab an energy pill from my pocket, open Midoriya's mouth, and lift his head, once he swallows I grab my notepad from my pocket and place a piece of paper writing to recovery girl.

I turn on my heel from Midoriya and snap as the murder of crows disappears, the class is silent for a second before All Might speaks.

"Thank you Ryuk but please let Recovery girl handle the injuries"

"I'm not a plague doctor for nothing."

before he could scold me more Kirishima starts up by calling me manly again.

The rest of the fights were impressive but none stuck out besides Todoroki and Midoriya's battle. I wish Midoriya wasn't so exhausted I would love to battle him.

"Now I going to draw two different numbers and those two will go up against Ryuk!"

I stand next to All might as his large hand dips into the box and feels around until they both pop up again.

"Bakugou and Todoroki!!!"

At least I got some people that actually seemed interesting to battle, though Bakugou seems pretty shaken up hopefully that won't cloud his mind during our battle.

I leave the room and wait outside the building and put on the song 'Sonne' in my AirPods. As expected I immediately hear yelling from Bakugou and moments later I see what I assume to be the bomb room's window frost and half a heat signature in the room.

'So that's the bomb room. Bakugou is probably on his way to the entrance.'

I summon a murder of about 30 crows, 20/30 being bigger then average and the other 10 being normal-sized.

I walk to the back of the building and go through a window as I send the smaller crows as spies, 5 outside, 5 inside. The building is too big to just rely on heat signatures.

After stealthily walking around the building, not a sound coming from my body, I hear squawking and an explosion.

"Crow vision!"

I bring my hand up to my face and see my crow flying away from Bakugou and start leading him right to me just like I instructed.

"Good girl, just keep avoiding I'll be there soon."

I bring down my hand and reach into my cloak and bring out the gun I had custom-made by the support course, it doesn't shoot real bullets of course it shoots out syringe-like bullets that are filled with a sedative, nothing too heavy for training a good shot in the arm will only cause around 10 minutes of paralysis, a graze being around 7 minutes long.

I use part of the energy from Midoriya to speed me up
