Your POV

You were walking down the small bamboo forest near Qingce Village, that, until you heard a whimpering noise. You checked to where the noise is coming from with your guard up. You found a light-purple haired little girl. You see small cuts and her clothes have little scratches on it. You asked what is she doing here and she responded with, "I lost my way while I was picking 'herbs?', I forgot what happened before but now I'm here"

You gasped in shock, you bend down to her height and held her two tiny hands, "cold..", you thought. "I can take you back at my place, I have a thing or two with patching people up, and you can tell me where you came from so I can bring you back safely. How does that sound?", You said with a gentle and caring smile.

Qiqi felt warmness and comfy with your smile. Qiqi responded with a simple, "Okay...what's your name so Qiqi can write it in her diary", you chuckled and said,
"|Name|".

{At Your Home}

Qiqi entered your house and looked at it in awe,"You have this many plants and herbs, do you specialize in medicine?", Qiqi asked, "Yes actually, but, I'm still learning most of it is I learned from my grandma", you replied while taking bandages out from your shelf and you signed to Qiqi to come near you.

You walked her to your backyard full of plants and a well on the side. You fill a wooden tub with water and brought out a wooden stool. You told Qiqi to sit on the stool to which she complied. You grabbed a wooden board and then placed it on top of the tub for the bandages and cloth. You grabbed yourself a stool and sat on it.

You wet the cloth and rolled up Qiqi's sleeve and started to wash her small cuts with clean water. Qiqi watched the whole process, seeing you silently helping her and taking care of her even though you only found her earlier from a forest.

Drying the arms of the child, you started wrapping her arms with the bandages. "This child has so many small cuts, I wonder what happened to her....", You thought while finishing up wrapping her arms. You cut the ends and,"Done!", you said happily.

"Qiqi, thanks you", Qiqi said with a small smile."Welcome!","Also the sun is setting so I can't bring you back now, but, we can do that tomorrow, you can sleep in the guest room, is that okay for you?", You smiled again with your gentle features and caring aura.

"Yes...sorry for bothering you..", You heard what Qiqi said,"Hey don't say that, I don't think you are a bother, now let's get ready for dinner, you can be on the main room while I clean this up"

{Dinner}

You cooked Jade Parcels, Qingce Stir Fry, etc,. Both of you ate silently and you finished first. After finishing you washed the dishes and showed Qiqi her room, and, your room Incase something happens or when she needs you.

You looked through the closet hoping you would find clothes comfortable for sleeping. After digging for a while you finally found a pair of old clean clothes. You told Qiqi to try it on and it looks a little big on her but she said she's okay with it so you took out a blanket since it was cold.

You ruffled her hair one last time for the day and said,"If you ever need something, I'll be on the other room, have a good night sleep kiddo", you waved a goodbye to her, while walking out the room. You headed to your room, got changed, laid a blanket for you and you closed your eyes until you are asleep.

{Middle Of The Night}

Qiqi POV

|Name| and I were walking back to Liyue harbor and got attacked by monsters,

|Name| died trying to protect me to which awoken me from my sleep. Feeling guilty about her dying I found myself in a dark realm with monsters and people circling around me saying I was the one to blame.

I succumbed to the darkness and then....

I shot up the bed, sweating about the nightmare. I felt shivers down my spine and looked to my surroundings to see I was still in the room. I felt relieved and brought the blanket closer to me as I tried to go back to sleep but I was scared so I got up, put on the slippers she gave me. I wrapped my back with with the blanket and ventured down to her room.

I opened her door and seeing her sweating and moving sometimes, "Must be a bad dream....", I thought and walked up to her and patted her forehead three times. She woke up with droopy eyes she said, "What do you need...?", She said as she soon got up yawning and then looked at me.

"Qiqi got a bad dream, I'm scared to sleep alone", I said looking at her sleepy eyes. I fiddled with my fingers waiting for a response and she replied with, "I got a bad dream too, you can sleep here","Did you bring your pillow?". I shaked my head indicating 'no'.

"Here sit down for a bit, I'll get your pillow for you", I heard her say. I sat down the mattress noticing how fluffy it is I rolled around. She chuckled and went out to get my pillow.

Your POV

'She reminds me of (Little Sister Name), too bad she died from a family inherited sickness.....at such a young age at that...' you thought while walking down to the guest room. You noticed small tear falling down your face. You wiped it gently and picked up the pillow then headed back to your room.

You smiled gently on seeing Qiqi admiring your bed. You walked towards your bed and put down her pillow beside yours. "Lay down kiddo, we will be traveling tomorrow, you need a lot of energy", you said as you laid down to your side of the bed. Qiqi nodded and laid down beside you hugging you gently.

{Morning}

You woke up and you saw a sleeping Qiqi you smiled and think what you will cook for breakfast. You washed and dressed up to your adventuring outfit and you put your dagger on where no one would notice it (incase of an attack). After that you cooked Rice Buns and Fullmoon Eggs.

You woke Qiqi up and got her washed and dressed for the day. Both of you sat and ate. You asked Qiqi where in Liyue harbor does she live and she said 'Bubu Pharmacy' ,'a pharmacy? Does her parents work there?', you thought about it but didn't question her too much. You packed your first aid kit, some snacks, and etc,. "Are you ready to go?", "Yes.."

Both of you soon walked down the bamboo forest and arrived near the beach side. Both of you walked until both of you arrived at Wangshu Inn on 2pm. Both of you stopped by for lunch and ate then rested for a while.

Back on your track you started to notice Qiqi started to slow down you grabbed her hand and saw her tired face. "sister
|name|.....Qiqi's tired....", she said while she held her hands up indicating she want to be carried. You carried her on your back while you started to walk again, "Hold tight..", you said.

It got darker and darker every minute. You see Liyue Harbor's lights shining bright. You felt Qiqi waking up and you put her down, she rubbed her eyes gently and held your hands as you two walked to Liyue harbor.

Both of you have finally arrived at Liyue Harbor. You walked to where Bubu Pharmacy is and when you where about to make your first step on the long set of stairs. You felt a tug on your shirt. You see Qiqi's arms up, you understand what she wants. You held her on one arm while she hugged your neck.

After finishing the set of stairs you see a braided green-haired man. You see Qiqi pointing at the man and walked up to him. He was standing outside walking back and forth until you tapped his shoulder. He sees you with Qiqi in your arms.

"Who are you? And why do you have Qiqi?", the man questioned. "Big sister
|name| brought me here.", Qiqi said and you explained what happened. The man thanked you for taking care of Qiqi. "My name is Baizhu, nice to meet you |name|", "Nice to meet you too!", You said as you waved his hand.

You ruffled Qiqi's hair on last time and you said,"I'll try to visit you once in a while kiddo", Qiqi's eyes gleamed with excitement. She grabbed your hand and she gave you a windmill carving and it's to remember her and you gave her a pendant with a picture of you so she doesn't forget you.

Baizhu smiled at the moment and you finally pulled away. You waved goodbye to both of them and you descend down the stairs. Qiqi saw as you got away and put the pendant in her pocket as she entered Bubu Pharmacy.

{Time Skip}

Every now and then, you would visit Qiqi once or twice in two months. But lately you stopped visiting. The family sickness has taken a toll on you and your grandma suggested you do not take long travels and need to be rested. You wrote a letter to Qiqi about your current condition. And on how you cannot visit her, maybe in the future or not.....

You were having strong fevers and the white spot travelled down from your forehead to your eyes, from your hands to your elbows, from your feet to your knees, it's like you are slowly turning into a white gem. You were coughing, sneezing, etc,.

Qiqi POV

Me and Dr. Baizhu walked to Bubu Pharmacy and Herbalist Gui gave us a letter and he said it was for me. I read it outside and told doctor Baizhu about it. "Hmm..it is unfortunate indeed..", he said while giving the letter back to me.

"Is there a way to heal her up?", I said tilting my head."Miss |name| said it is from a family heritage, and cannot be cured, so sadly she will endure this until her soul will be finally put to rest.", Dr. Baizhu said.

"Rest? Does that mean Qiqi won't be able to see big sister |name| anymore...?", "I'm afraid so", I looked down sadly and Dr. Baizhu patted my head and said, "if it makes you feel better, we can visit her tomorrow", I looked up to see his gentle smile and I nodded in response.

{At Your House}
Your POV

"|Name| dear, someone is here to see you!", you heard your grandma say. You opened your eyes, sat up, and then you saw your grandma with a child that looks like.....Qiqi.

"Qiqi...?", You asked and the light died down a little bit and you heard a small hum indicating it is her. You smiled widely with her presence and your grandma left you and Qiqi alone.

You looked down and said, "I'm sorry I haven't visited you for a while now...hehe
...this sickness got the best out of me..". Qiqi held your crystalized hand and looked at your eyes, "Don't be sorry, I understand", Qiqi said. You widened your eyes and tears fell to your eyes, the tears were like crystals falling down your face.

"Don't cry....it makes Qiqi sad...", you closed your eyes and you felt her cup your cheeks with her tiny hands. You raised your crystalized hand holding Qiqi's hand. You hugged her immediately crying more as it brings back the sad past you witnessed. Qiqi patted your head in comfort and for a while you passed out.

Qiqi POV

I put her to bed and laid down the blanket on top of her. I got outside and saw her grandma sitting on a bench. I sat next to her and she then noticed my presence. I asked her about your condition and how it travelled through generations. She told me about their ancestors who crossed the line with a god.

The ancestors were cursed with an illness that will soon crystalized the one with the illness. It only affected the women of the family. It is un-curable but there is one time a generation can avoid it. It's if they're the generation after two generation with the illness. It still passes through and |name|'s grandma was lucky that her illness was skipped.

She mentioned about |name| having a little sister who died from the illness at such young age, 8, to be exact. She mentioned about |name| talking about how I was like a resemblance of her little sister. The last moments of her and her little sister was the last hug |name| ever felt. She talked in detail how her little sister cupped her face hugged her after.

|Name| was said to have cried for a week until she got out of her room and her eyes were out of color. They were dull and her eyes were puffy with darkish grey eyebags. I felt sad about what she have to go through. Small crystals rained for a few seconds. And then I noticed her grandma rushing to |name|'s room and started to break down and cry.

I rushed to be there and I saw |name|, not the one I used to know, but a now crystalized one. I went to her grandma's side and hugged her for comfort. She handed me a letter that |name| asked for her to give when she have been finally died.

The letter contained,

Dear Qiqi,

Hey there, when you are reading this I'm finally dead. I don't want you to cry for me or I guess you can't help it. I have this sickness ever since I was twelve years old. I got it right after my little sister died. If you ever heard the story, though I prefer you don't. When I was taking care of you, I felt like a flame was ignited in me after all that years. I finally have someone I admired and cared for. You remind me of (Little Sister Name), she's my little sister...
Anyways you act like her, you resemble like her but you felt different. You have more emotions, and feelings...hmm anyways after all that I'm glad I met you, even I'm not alive anymore, I will be by your side always! Take this little pendant for you, it's in the envelope right? That's for you, I collect little crystals and I thought of making a pendant with it since what will I do with it after I die?
You lighted up the darkness in my void for a heart. I hope you will have good luck in your future and you will grow up to be a good person. Goodbye,....,forever.

I didn't cry, but inside I felt hurt, sister
|name| was a good person, why did she have to go through this. I looked at the envelope it came with and I saw a shining lavender crystal pendant. I gently smiled and quietly said,

"Sister |Name|.....I Will Never Forget You, You Will Be Embedded To Qiqi's Heart"
