the group of bad guys were now on another helicopter, getting ready to head off to their destination. another figure had walked onto the helicopter but both teens had been too occupied with their own thoughts.

ella was taking in deep breaths and letting them out slowly as evan stared at her with eyes filled with worry.

"just breath ella, you'll be fine" evan reassured her.

"b-but what if the helicopter collapses or breaks apart or eve-" ella ranted obviously panicked about being on a vehicle that goes in the air.

"ella its a military helicopter, theres no way it would crash" evan rebutted. floyd who was on the other side of evan glanced over at them.

"she not too fond of flying?" he questioned and evan turned to the man.

"nope. not one bit. she doesn't like the idea of being off the ground" evan laughed earning a glare from ella.

"well excuse me if i prefer the safety of having both my feet on the ground where i won't fall 10 feet from the sky!" ella scolded, harley who was on ellas other side giggled at her.

"i really like you. so feisty" harley stated.

 evan just held his sisters hand as the helicopter went up, leaving the ground behind.

"look at the pretty lights!" harley squealed but ella didn't dare to look out when the older blonde gestured for her to do so.

rick and floyd were exchanging words but ella had been focused on her breathing while evan had been staring her down.

"your staring isn't making me feel any better" ella murmured, trying to ignore the sick feeling that was buried in her stomach.

"sorry...you wanna hold my hand?" evan asked, sticking his hand out and if looks could kill, he would be dead because ella had turned to give him a unamused look.

he rose his hands in defense.

"just offering"

suddenly, something had shot at the helicopter which damaged the propellers. they all had began falling and ella's anxiety sky rocketed.

ella had opened her mouth to scream but evan rushed to cover it, keeping it closed.

"don't scream! don't scream!" evan reminded his sister who nodded and replaced evan's hand with her own.

"wo-ah!" there had been some sort of malfunction with evan's belt because it had unclipped itself causing the boy to go flying out of his seat.

"evan!" ella exclaimed.

floyd had reacted quick to the situation, flinging his arm out and grasping the boys wrist.

"i got you son!" floyd shouted as he tried his best to pull evan closer to him but he just couldn't.

evan had peaked out the window of the helicopter and his eyes widened when realizing they were about to hit the ground.

"ella! do something!" evan shouted and gestured out the window.

"but-"

"just do it!"

ella let out a whine before taking action.

she reached out both her hands, one pointed to evan while the other was pointed to the floor.

soon a red mist had started leaving ella's palms as her eyes slowly turned into their bright golden hue.

the mist had encased evan's body, sitting him back into his seat and holding him there as it also surrounded the helicopter so instead of rolling when hitting the ground, it simply skidded.

the helicopter had slowed down to a stop and that was ella finally let out a strong breath and fell forward. if it hadn't been for the belt holding her the girl would have fallen to the ground.

evan sighed in relief and turned to his sister immediately, not caring about the eyes that were looking at them.

"n-never make me do t-hat again" ella huffed, eyes still glowing as the mist returned to her. the brunettes body was shaking uncontrollably and she tried to rake deep breathes.

"i'm sorry. i'll never ask you to do something like this again okay? just...just focus on relaxing" evan held his sisters shoulders and waited for the mist and her yellow eyes to disappear.

and when it had, the others had already started leaving the helicopter.

"come on, lets go" evan whispered. he unbuckled ella from her seat and caught her body weight with ease.

he helped her to the helicopter exit where croc had been waiting.

evan gave ella to croc who gently placed her on the ground as evan easily jumped off.

"thanks" evan gave a smile to the man before bending down in front of ella.

"hop on" he said and without a complaint, ella hopped on her brothers back and rested on his shoulder.

"oh- you've gained weight, think you should cut down on the grap-" evan went to say as he stood up but was cut off by ella pinching his neck.k

"ouch!"
