"Mom, Valerie is a good friend! She was there for me when you weren't!" I yelled, "I know I didn't raise an ungrateful child! I worked 2 jobs for you! She didn't! She is pushing you to do bad things! Yet your dumbass hasn't noticed!" Mom yelled back.

"I never said I was ungrateful! I was grateful for all the things you did for me! What I'm upset about is that I had no father figure and a mother who wasn't there for me emotionally!" I yelled with tears in my eyes.

"Now your crying, of course! In the end, I'm always going to be the bad guy! Your lucky I even get you what you want! My mom never did, she was never there for me!" Mom yelled, "I'm done with your bullshit!" I yelled going upstairs.

"Fine since your done! You are getting out my house! Pack your things and leave!" Mom yelled, "Fine!" I yelled slamming the door.

I was crying angrily and grabbed my phone and called Valerie, she answered and said, "Hey! What's up?" I breathed in and said, "Pick me up please." Val was silent for a bit then said, "Ok be there in 5!" Then hung up.

I packed my clothes, some other things, and hygienic products, I obviously didn't forget my skateboard. I opened the door and walked downstairs to the front door, "Y/n.. I'm sorry please don't leave-" Mom said before I cut her off, "No don't do this again! I'm leaving and guess who's picking me up?! Valerie! I'm done of having an emotionally unavailable mom!" I opened and slammed the door shut.

I saw Val's car and ran towards it crying, I got in the car and Val immediately asked me, "What happened?!" I looked at her and hugged her, she hugged me back and said, "Was it your mom?" I nodded and Val did as well and took it as a cue to drive to her house.

She drove to her house which was good because she lived alone. About 10 minutes later we got to her house and she parked in the driveway, "Alright cmon we're here." I nodded and left the car.

We went inside and Val showed me to her guest bedroom, "You can stay here," I looked at her with a half smile and said, "Thank you. This means a lot to me." She smiled and said, "Yeah of course anytime! Also it was getting lonely just living here alone."

"Ok so! Guest bathroom is the door to the right, feel free to eat anything in the kitchen, make yourself comfortable, and yeah! Also let me know if you wanna talk," Val said. I nodded smiling and she left the room.

I closed the door and put my backpack and skateboard down, then I flopped on the bed. I was about to start unpacking when my phone rang, I checked it and it was my boyfriend, Fuckshit. I answered and heard him say, "Hey baby," I smiled and said, "Hey baby."

He then said, "Wanna hang out tomorrow?" I smiled because Fuckshit normally was able to get me over feelings of sadness, "Yeah! Where?" I said, "We can skate around town then we can hit up the abandoned building by my house."

"Sure what time?" I said, "At 2?" He responded, "Yeah sure I'll meet you at your house," I said. There was a silence for a second then, "Aight bye ma see you tomorrow." I smiled and said, "Bye baby love you."

I hung up and then started to unpack, about 20 minutes later my backpack was empty. Now I just needed to get used to the new drawers for my clothes, I already had my clothes for my shower before going to sleep, I walked to Val's room and knocked on the door, "Val?"

"Come in," I heard her say from the other side, I opened the door and peaked my head in the room and asked, "Where is the towels?" She got up and I backed up. She opened the door even more and signaled me to follow her, I followed her and she opened a closet, pulled out a towel, and handed me it.

"Thank you," I said, "Yeah of course!" She walked back to her room and I went to my room, grabbed my clothes, and walked to the bathroom.

I turned on the shower, took off my clothes, and hopped in. 40 minutes later I was done with my shower and hopped out, I turned off the water and started drying off.

I put a towel around my body, gathered my stuff, and left the bathroom. I walked in my room and locked the door, I took off the towel and started putting my pajama pants and sports bra on.

I walked over and unlocked the door, I turned off my lights and flopped on my bed again. I used my phone for a few more minutes before passing out.

I woke up to my phone buzzing, I checked it to see it was just a notification from an app I have. I checked the time as well and it was 12PM, I got up and walked to the bathroom.

I used the bathroom and flushed the toilet, I washed my hands and walked to the kitchen. I got in the kitchen to see Valerie there, "Morning," I said. She looked up at me and said, "Morning." I've been to her house a couple times so I had a good idea of where everything was.

I grabbed a bowl to get cereal when Val said, "Oh also I'm gonna be gone if you leave, I'm going to my boyfriends house." I looked at her and said, "Oh ok I'm leaving at 2 anyways so we'll both be gone," she raised her eyebrows and said, "Oh ok what time will you be back?"

"Uh probably 8 or 9?" I said, "Ok the key to the house is on the table over there and your getting the key because I'm staying the night," Val said pointing to the table in the kitchen. I nodded and she smiled walking to her room.

I got cereal and sat on the table, I was almost done eating when I checked the time on the oven. It read 1PM, I finished up and went to the kitchen to wash the bowl and spoon.

After washing the dishes, I went to my room to get changed. After I got changed into baggy sweatpants and a crop top, I checked the time on my phone. It was 1:26PM.

I killed time by using my phone and when it was time for me to leave, I grabbed my skateboard and put my shoes on and left. I was skating for a few minutes when I got to Fuckshit's house, I stopped skating and walked up to the door knocking on it.

He answered and smiled when he saw me, "Hey baby," he said hugging me. I smiled and hugged back, "Aight trynna go skate?" He asked, I nodded and he smiled. He grabbed his skateboard which was by the door and walked out.

We were skating past my house and then I got flashbacks of the night before, I shook it off so I didn't ruin the mood. We were skating for about 3 hours when we went to the abandoned building he was talking about.

We walked all the way to the top and sat down on the floor, I was looking at the sky when I saw Fuckshit pull a blunt and a lighter out his pocket.

He lit it up passing it to me, I took the blunt and hit it. We were passing back and forth until it was gone, we were talking for a bit when I zoned out.

I knew I was zoned out but was to lazy to zone back in. I heard Fuckshit calling my name but didn't zone back in till I felt his arm nudge mine. I flinched a little bit and looked at him murmuring, "Hm?"

He looked at me, furrowed his eyebrows, and tilted his head, "You good ma?" He asked. I then got flashbacks again of the night before making me angrily tear up, I blinked a few times then said, "Yeah I'm good."

He raised an eyebrow skeptically, "I see your eyes, there watering," he said. I didn't wanna cry but I can't lie to him, "Uh just shit with my mom thas it," I said. I knew my eyes were watering even more, Fuckshit didn't say anything but he scooted next to me even more and brought his arm around my neck.

I couldn't hold it in anymore and just started crying, it was awkward since he never saw me cry and this was the first time he saw me cry. He pulled me in closer and hugged me, "It's ok y/n, your gonna be okay," he said.

I slowly calmed down while he held my hand, I looked at him and said, "Thank you for this." He looked at me and kissed my forehead, "You know I'm here for you y/n," he said.

We kissed and we hugged while watching the sunset also high.
