CHAPTER THREE

"i want to know, have you ever seen the rain?..."

Sunday morning arrived and so did the hangovers. My head was in a lot of pain so I took a pill and I immediately felt better. I looked out the window and it was raining like a lot. Which is a weird thing for L.A but I didn't mind. I loved rain.

Let me remind you I've lived in England my whole life.

Much to my surprise Kassidy had already woken up because the minute I entered our living room the smell of fresh pancakes filled the air.

Heaven, I'm in heaven.

"Holy sh*t do I smell pancakes?" "Yes you do. It's a late welcoming gift." Kass said and giggled while she served me "Aw how sweet." I said and giggled too.

"It's Sunday, it's raining and I have work tomorrow so you know what that means!" "We go out because this is basically golf weather?" she asked hopefully.

You wish Rose.

"Nope. We stay in and clean this mess that we call apartment!"
"As tempting as that sounds I think I'm gonna pass" she smiled at me and I gave her my favorite finger. "You're not getting out of this Rose." "Ugh fine but only because I am an amazing friend and you should be thankful you have me in your life" "You always seem to forget that you're also a pain in the ass" I said and slightly laughed "Is that so? No more pancakes for you then" "WHAT? No no no I'm sorry I take it back! These are delicious by the way" "Thank you"

I finished the plate full of delicious pancakes and started vacuuming while Kass washed the dishes. Once we were done she came to my room and helped me unpack the rest on my stuff.

"So what's up with you and Duff?"
Kass literally choked on air once that sentence left my mouth.
"What do you mean, nothing is happening!" "Oh yeah I'm definitely convinced now. Common Kass spit it out already" "Okay maybe we've been flirting a little bit but that's it!"

Just make out already!

"Mhm... So you do fancy him! I knew it." "What, how?" "Well from the way you look at him" I smirked and she started blushing like mad
"I can tell he's really into you too by the way he looks at you." "Now that's a bunch of bullocks. He's in a band, all he does is flirt with girls" "You and I both know that he looks at you like you're the only girl in the room. In his eyes you're a mermaid in a room full of bloody manatees!" I said and laughed "You think so?" she asked shyly.

How can one girl be so damn blind.

"I know so." I replied and winked at her. As soon as I said that I heard a knock on the door. "I'll get that" I said and went to open our door.

"Hey hot stuff" Slash said and winked once I opened the door "We were really f*cking bored so we decided to come and annoy you guys!" Steven said "only if it's okay with you" Duff added "Yes, of course, come in!" and that's exactly what they did.

"Man rain sucks!" Steven whined like a little child. "It's not that bad!" I disagreed and earned an "Mhm" from Kassidy. "But you can't do anything when it's raining!" "Oh stop being overdramatic man" Slash said. "How about I make some pizza and we watch a movie?" I suggested "I'm so in" Kassidy said. For Kass and I making pizza and watching movies on a rainy day was like a tradition. "Should we invite Axl and Izzy too?" Duff said. "Sure, I'll go" and that's exactly what I did.

I knocked on their door and Izzy opened the door. What I did not expect was the fact that he was only wearing boxers, a hat and a completely unbuttoned shirt.

I could get used to this view.

"Hello there." I said "She speaks.
O, speak again, bright angel!" "Haha very funny Isbell, quoting Romeo and Juliet because my name is Juliette"

It's actually kinda funny but I'm never going to admit that out loud.

"What brings you here doll?" "We decided we're going to watch a movie, I'm going to make some pizza and it'd be rude if we didn't invite you guys" "well I'm in just give me one minute and let me ask Axl" he said as he rushed inside.

What do you mean get ready? I liked that view better!

"Okay Axl is in the middle of something he'll come when he's done" he said and scratched the back of his neck "He's screwing someone isn't he?" I asked and laughed "maybe" Izzy replied which made me laugh even harder " I see you wore pants" I said as I knocked on the door and smirked while looking at him "I kinda had to, didn't I?" "Don't know. I think I preferred you in those boxers" Izzy smiled but before he could reply the door opened.

"where's Axl?" Kass asked "He's screwing some poor chic he'll come when he's done. I'm going to start making that pizza" "Wait Juliette, do you need any help?" Izzy offered

Sweet baby jesus the way he says my name...

"Uh no don't worry I can handle it" I smiled at him. "I insist on helping" "Ok then thank you, I really appreciate it" he smiled and followed me in the kitchen

We got the ingredients out and started making the pizza. We were talking about random stuff and laughing.

He's fun to be around when he's not an ass.

"Can I ask you something?" "Yea, anything" "Where does Jaws come from?" "My full name" "which is?" "oh there's no way in hell I'm telling you Stradlin" "It's Juliette Aurora Williams." Axl's deep voice said. Izzy smiled and I yelled "TRAITOR!" "Sorry Jules" Axl smirked, took a beer from the fridge and exited the kitchen.

I looked at Izzy who was so focused on the pizza and looked really cute. I smiled to myself and continued making the pizza too.

"Okay so the pizzas are in the oven, now does any of you idiots have any movie suggestions?" I said as Izzy and I entered the living room. "Let's watch a horror movie!" Duff said "Uh I don't know man Kass and Juliette might get scared" "You sure you're not the one who's gonna get scared, Saul?" Kass said and I gave her a high five. "F*ck you man" Slash said and laughed defeated "Even if they do get scared, I'm here to protect them!" Steven said as he got up and hugged us. "Our hero." I said sarcastically and put sat as Kass put on a horror movie. I looked at Duff who was looking at Kass and smiled.

Those two.

The pizzas were ready, the movie started and we all sat down in silence.
I sat between Izzy and Kass, next to Kass sat Duff who had his arm around her, on Duff's left sat Slash,Steven sat on the floor and Axl sat on a chair.

Just like we guessed the only ones screaming were Slash and Steven even tho Steven was only screaming because he got scared when Slash screamed. Izzy, Duff, Kass and I were just making jokes at the "scary scenes" and we couldn't contain our laughter. Axl just fell asleep 40 minutes in the movie.

He's forgiven tho, we all now why he's tired...

The movie ended, Steven, Slash and Duff left while Izzy and Axl helped us with the dishes and then left.

"I see you and Izzy are bonding" Kass said and smirked "Yeah he's a nice guy" "I'm glad you're getting along with the guys. Especially Izzy" "Stop being a pain in the ass and just go to sleep Kassidy Hazel." I smiled and threw a pillow at her face that she caught while laughing. "Which one of them do you find the most attractive? I bet it's Izzy" "Yes it is Izzy now can you start acting like an adult?" "Now that you admitted it, yes I can." "Thank you." "Goodnight Jaws" "Night idiot"
