Thoma left Ayaka's bedroom to start preparing dinner. Since he was your favorite celebrity's housekeeper, you knew his cooking had to be the best.

You and Ayaka hung out in her bedroom for a while. Ayaka decided to give you a makeover in your spare time before dinner. When she meant makeover, you thought just makeup. But no, she entirely dressed you up in high-end clothes. Movement seemed impossible wearing such expensive clothing. You acted as if your entire body was covered in glass.

Ayaka giggled, "did I overdress you?"

You looked down at the fitted red dress that Ayaka had thrown onto you, "no, I just don't feel very comfortable in this dress..." You admitted.

"Would you like me to find something to match your comfort?" She asked.

You just wanted to put your normal clothes on, but Ayaka seemed so invested in dressing you up, so you responded with a nod.

Ayaka smiled and searched through her newly cleaned-out closet, in search of the perfect outfit for you. She handed you an ice blue dress.

"Try this one."

You nodded as you waddled carefully over to the bathroom to change. Once you took the fitted red dress you could finally breathe again.

You put on the ice blue dress Ayaka handed you then stared into the mirror. Your eyes widened, this dress went so well with your h/c hair and e/c eyes and matched the makeup Ayaka put on your face. The bodice was filled with sparkly rhinestones, and the skirt was knee length with a layer of tulle that added texture.

despite whatever high price this dress was, you felt rather comfortable in it. The thought of the rhinestones being actual diamonds didn't even tense you.

You left the bathroom to show Ayaka. She immediately ran up to you and grabbed your hands.

"That looks perfect on you!" She gasped.

You blushed a bit as Ayaka remained grasping onto your hands. She suddenly dragged you to the kitchen where the most heavenly smell was.

"Thoma what should I do for Y/n's hair?" Ayaka asked.

He paused his cooking to look at you. "Did Miss. Y/n say it was fine for a makeover in the first place?"

Ayaka's face froze, "I forgot to ask her... "

She nervously turned herself to face you, "Y/n... were you fine with me dressing you up?"

You nodded, "yeah, it was fun." you said as you excluded the part where you put on that fitted red dress that made you feel like if you'd move it would break.

Ayaka let out a huge sigh of relief, "alright, so Thoma what do you think I should do with her hair?"

He shrugged, "I think Miss. Y/n's hair looks fine the way it is."

Ayaka paused for a long moment to examine my hair.

"I agree. Thank you, Thoma." She smiled.

He blushed ever so slightly, enough for you to notice the pink tint. So cute.

"So-" You got cut off by the front door opening.

That must be Ayato!

Your face lit up a solid red. But I'm still all dressed up! This is so embarrassing.

You were never the person to dress up nicely. Even on special occasions, you wore more casual clothes. Plus, you didn't have the money to get a sparkling-filled wardrobe like Ayaka.

Just as expected, Ayato entered the room and his eyes looked directly at you. Oh, how much you hated being the center of attention. Why couldn't Ayaka drag me back into her room to go make some finishing touches?

You noticed Ayato had a small bag in one hand, although you didn't think much of it.

"What happened here?" Ayato said then finally realized he'd been staring at you for so long now.

"Ah, welcome home Mr. Kamisato." Thoma paused his cooking once again to greet him.

"Brother, I gave Y/n a makeover! What do you think?" Ayaka asked with her eyes sparkling.

You could've sworn your heart stopped beating the entire time Ayato was thinking of what to say.

Surely, he wouldn't say anything mean right? But if he did wouldn't that go towards Ayaka since she dressed you up?

But then again, he doesn't like you so he probably wouldn't say you look beautiful.

"I think Y/n looks beautiful," Ayato admitted.

Eh?

Wait...

HE JUST CALLED ME BEAUTIFUL?!!?!?!?!!

Your face felt hotter than Yoimiya's fireworks.

You looked back and forth at Ayaka and Ayato who were both smiling, just trying to figure out what to say. You weren't even sure if you'd be able to spit out something as simple as thank you.

Y/n calm down... he probably only said that to be nice. Not because he likes you!

Your mental panic suddenly stopped when Ayato spoke again, "this is for you." He handed you the small bag that he'd been carrying.

You took the bag with a bit of hesitation, "why?"

"An apology gift for accidentally sickening you." He smiled.

You couldn't help but blush even more.

"That's very sweet of you," you said as you pulled a small box out from the bag.

You were completely clueless to what was in the box since you rarely received gifts, and only bought stuff essential to you.

Yoimiya would give you gifts on your birthday, but they were always fireworks. There was even once she regifted you a set of fireworks you gave her on her birthday one year.

You opened the small box to find a silver ring with a small heart on it.

Your instant reaction was pulling Ayato into a tight hug.

The moment you realize you were probably squeezing him to death you immediately let go filled with embarrassment. You didn't think before pulling him into a tight embrace, but you couldn't help it. You've never received a gift from someone other than Yoimiya and your parents.

"Sorry..." you murmured.

He chuckled, "I'm glad you like it."

It felt as if the world around you froze, and you could only focus on Ayato. Thoughts ran through your mind that would never come true in a lifetime. Only if there was a way to get closer to this man.

You felt wrong thinking you needed to be more than just friends with him. It was already a dream come true to just see him in person.

Your thoughts disconnected as Ayato grabbed the ring from the box and slid it onto your finger.

The ring fit perfectly on your right index finger.

You tried to hold back your blush, but it was impossible to not look like a tomato right now.

"T-thank you, so much." You barely managed to slip out.

Ayato smiled again and gave you a small head pat.

"I hate to cut the moment short, but dinner is ready." Thoma announced.

You finally were able to break free from that intense moment thanks to Thoma. Your thoughts were clear again and it was time to eat one of the best meals in your life.

The rest of the evening you had been so distracted you had forgotten you were still wearing Ayaka's luxurious dress, along with a face full of makeup. You also couldn't help staring at your new ring whenever you had the chance to glance at it.

Best. Dinner. Ever.
