You dropped your bags as you stared at the blued-haired man sitting on your couch.

"How did you get in here?" you asked, astonished.

He smiled. "Your door was unlocked."

You...left your door unlocked...

You always made sure to lock it before going out.

"I forgot?" You sounded more surprised about your door being unlocked than Ayato being here.

He shrugged in response.

You were gone for at least two hours at the grocery store. A robbery could've happened while you were gone. Although, you didn't have much that was worth stealing. The little bit of money you owned was either kept in a small safe in your closet or was on the credit card that you had on you almost 24/7.

Gasp!

But not only is your money precious...

You darted to your bedroom and cracked open the door just enough to peek an eye through. You sighed in relief when you found all your posters still on the wall.

"What are you doing?" Ayato said right behind you.

You somehow forgot he was here, so you jumped a bit when he spoke.

"I was worried if someone sto--" you started then decided to change the entire subject, "what are you doing?"

"Oh, sorry, I forgot to ask permission before coming over." Ayato said then pointed at a suitcase, "I'm going to be staying here for the next few days."

Your jaw dropped.

"Unless you're not okay with that, then I'll just rent out a hotel. I can't stand Itto, so I couldn't imagine living under the same roof as him for the next few days."

It took a moment for your brain to process what Ayato was saying. He wants to stay here? He could rent out a hotel that's a hundred times nicer, but he came here first?

"Yeah, fine by me," you managed to say, "but I only have one bed-"

You turned around to find that Ayato was no longer behind you. He made his way to the front door and started picking up the groceries you dropped.

"-I can take the couch, though."

Ayato was so focused on putting away the groceries you even wondered if he heard you.

You grabbed his hand to catch his attention while he was putting a box of pasta into a cabinet

"We can share," Ayato responded.

"Yeah, I was going to make the pasta for dinner for the both of us." You said.

Ayato chuckled, "no, I mean we can just share the bed."

Your hand immediately dropped from his.

Share the...

...BED?!

Your face felt like it was about to explode like fireworks.

"I can just...take the couch." You muttered.

"The couch would be an uncomfortable space to sleep on, so I will not allow that," Ayato informed.

"So you think sharing my bed is a better idea?" You forced yourself to stare at his face.

Ayato froze to examine your solid red face, "well, if you're not comfortable with that I guess I'll just have to sleep on that rock-hard couch-"

"No, we can share it....that's fine..." You somehow managed to spit out.

"You're so cute when you are flustered," Ayato said while staring into your eyes, with the slightest grin on his face.

Your face began to burn even more. At this point, your brain wasn't even functioning properly, too much was happening at once.

Ayato continued to put away the rest of the groceries while you stood there trying to process everything.

Ayato. Cute. Bed

The three words kept repeating themselves in your head.

Ayato. Cute. Bed

Ayato... called me cute...and... bed...

...wait

BED?!

You could feel your heartbeat bang against your ribcage. Ayato was going to share your bed with you TONIGHT.

THE NEXT FEW NIGHTS!?

This was actually happening, right? It felt like a dream.

"Y/n, are you alright?" Ayato asked, "Y/n?"

You went back into reality when you heard the model's voice.

"Ohwhatsorrydidimisssomething?" You said a little too quick.

Ayato took a moment to figure out what you'd just said, "you spaced out for a few minutes."

"I did?"

He nodded.

"I diiiiiiiiiiiid..."

Ayato chuckled.

"Would you like to go for a walk before the sun goes down?" He asked.

Your eyes looked towards the counter seeing the empty bags, did he finish unloading all the groceries when I blanked out? You felt bad since Ayato was the guest and he ended up doing your chore for you.

Instead of getting even more overwhelmed with a simple chore done by Ayato, you thought about how refreshing it would be to take a walk. Maybe it'll clear up all the thoughts about your temporary sleeping arrangements with Ayato.

"That sounds nice." You finally responded with.

You took about a half-hour walk with Ayato around the town. You were surprised that nobody noticed Ayato either. He was an extremely famous model, but not many people in this small town seem to recognize him. Or maybe they did, and just aren't as big of a fan as you? Anyway, it doesn't matter, you were just glad people didn't circle around Ayato and screamed about how much they loved him. He was with you right now. Just you.

When you got back to your apartment you started to make dinner. You weren't the greatest cook so you just boiled some pasta and heated up a jar of sauce for dinner.

Ayato had only eaten super expensive foods his entire life, so you'd have no idea what'd he'd think of a cheap meal without much effort put into it.

Over dinner, Ayato gave you an honest opinion on the food. He said that commoners' food didn't taste as bad as he expected and that he'd eat it again. So I guess that's a win, right?

After dinner for the rest of the evening, the two of you played a board game that you found under your couch. It must've been old because you didn't remember buying the game or even having it.

You won the board game and cheered in victor.

Then it was finally time... to go to bed.

"Um, is it weird that you'll be staring at yourself in every direction of my room...?" You asked right before Ayato closed the door to the bathroom to take a quick shower before bed.

"I guess I'll find out." He smiled as he shut the door.

While Ayato was showering you just sat on your bed squealing into your pillow, feeling a mix of anxiety and excitement. You still couldn't believe this was happening right now.

You grabbed your phone and messaged Yoimiya 'You won't believe what just happened!'

A few minutes passed.

No response.

She usually responds immediately.

Maybe she just went to bed early-

Your bedroom door opened revealing Ayato wearing white and blue striped pajama pants with...

...no shirt on.
