"Hey (Y/N), how are you? You don't look so good right now..." Kanao brought up as she peeked over at the tired girl who was still lying in her bed. "It's nearly 11 a.m. you know. Usually, you're up and ready by 9 a.m. Tell me, just how hard did the Twelve Kizuki work you yesterday." Kanao suddenly asked in a soft tone, as if afraid that someone might overhear her.

"I'm fine, Kanao..." (Y/N) murmured groggily. "I just overworked myself. It's not the Twelve Kizuki's fault. Solely mine."

Kanao nodded in agreement. "Well then, you'll need to get up soon. Today is the deadline for the submission of the group you want to work with. I've helped you fill out most of the paperwork but you still need to fill in the name of the group you want to work with."

Seeing how unbothered (Y/N) was, Kanao sighed and left the documents on (Y/N)'s desk and did not attempt to disturb the vividly exhausted female.

Around 12:30 p.m., (Y/N) finally decided to wake up and wash up before submitting the paperwork to the school office. The poor girl had to drag herself out of bed which was quite unlike her usual self. She grabbed the paper and made her way to the office.

"Good afternoon, how may I help you?" The kind lady at the counter asked with a sweet smile.

"Good afternoon, I would like to submit my application to join a group in the Science department." (Y/N) said, handing her document to the lady.

The woman took a quick look at the paper and said, "But you haven't filled in the name of the group you wish to join."

"That's the thing... I have a question regarding that."

"Oh? Ask away."

"Am I allowed to join... more than one group?"

The lady looked dumbfounded for a second before she regained her calm composure. It seems like it was uncommon for people to be a part of more than one science research team. That is to be expected, of course, considering the amount of work and stress that comes with it.

"It is allowed, of course, but I'm not sure whether you can handle it. It's already tiring with one project so the workload will increase if you join two. Moreover, you need to consider your schoolwork and club activities, if you have any since they also contribute to the workload. Putting all that into consideration, taking two projects will have a heavy impact on you. The workload is insane."

"But what if I still want to do it?"

The lady paused and thought hard about it.

"...It's not entirely impossible to make it through... I know of someone who had handled two projects as well."

"I want to join Demon Slayers and Twelve Kizuki." (Y/N) stated, you could sense the firmness in her tone.

"Very well, I'll make arrangements for you. I'll send the details regarding the schedules to your school email later. Do take a look at it and make sure you don't skip the sessions."
