Sunlight came streaming through the window of the vacation house and onto the faces of the sleeping girls, causing them to stir awake one by one. Kanao woke up first, sitting up and rubbing her eyes before glancing over at the others. She crept out of bed and went to wash up first.

'Today is the second day of our trip.' Kanao was brushing her hair. 'I wonder what's for breakfast.' Kanao tied her hair up into a side ponytail, adorning the plain hairband with a butterfly pin. 'I hope the rest will enjoy the activity planned.'

The rest followed suit, each of them busy getting ready. Some were carrying out their tedious skincare routines, some were storing their futon away, and some might still be sleeping- Ahem.

Around half an hour or so, the girls gathered downstairs as you would on a school trip. They were deciding the breakfast menu and Mitsuri had volunteered to demonstrate her cooking.

"I can whip us up some western dishes!" She exclaimed excitedly, getting the ingredients ready. The rest waited eagerly, some having never tried western food before thus making this breakfast more enticing.

While Mitsuri cooked with Nezuko helping her out, Kanao and (Y/N) were explaining the plan for the day to the rest.

"Any objections or comments?" Kanao asked when (Y/N) was done with her long-ass speech.

As the questionnaire proceeded with Kanao being the host this time, (Y/N)'s phone suddenly vibrated, signalling a notification. Author said she would love to elaborate more here but decided against it given the unholy minds of her beloved readers the previous time she attempted it. By the time (Y/N) looked up from her phone, Kanao had finished answering everyone's queries and Mitsuri appeared with a tray of delectable dishes.

"Dig in, everyone! I added extra sugar this time." Mitsuri exclaimed, distributing the french toasts and pancakes around. She poured at least a gallon of maple syrup, chocolate syrup, and whipped cream on her mountain of pancakes before topping it off by sprinkling a mixture of strawberries and blueberries.

The rest joined the pink-haired girl, customising their dishes to suit their appetite and aesthetic.
