   𝗖𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘆𝗮𝘄𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱, it sounded like a whine then you smack your lips. Today was the day you meet your clients in the Fine Arts Museum. 

   Looking at the tall building with a nervous face as you tug in your collar. Your katana is held by your belt which you gripped on its handle.

   Before you proceed up the stairs you halt by the smell of fear, your nose wiggles by the scent so you look to the side to see a woman—she looks like a worker but lets go of the clipboard that she held. You've started to smile softly at her to try and not look frightening.

"Hello?"

   She screams. She runs away down the side walk. 

   Your ears flatten down with a sigh, already scaring the first person today. But you just continue walking up the stairs.

   While you walked you look around with curiosity, smelling new smells, seeing new people who tensed up at the sight of you. 

   Your earrings bounces and swing at every head movement you did. Finally making up the entrance of the museum, you see two people.

"He wasn't kidding. He really is a big dog."

"But he looks like,... A wolf."

   The women whispers to him. You guessed it was the manger and the assistant. 

   The man coughs out.

"W-Well hi you must be the new, security guard?"

"Yes. My name is Y/n Kamado."

   You offered your hand to him. He was hesitant but shakes your hand carefully.

"I'm the manger the Fine Arts museum, the names Micheal. And this is my assistant Claire."

   The women nods at her introduction. You smiled at them as they lead you inside, guiding to a secret room they called where the Golden Dolphin is in. 

"Here at the Fine Arts museum we dedicated to paintings, sculptures, and more! Heck even this odd looking piece here."

   He points at a can spilled with fake water on a single podium. You slightly laugh with a sweat drop.

"Hehe, cool."

"You haven't seen the Golden Dolphin yet. It's a beauty."

   Micheal laughs. You flinched a bit by his harsh pat on the back but you take this as a good way. That they're warming up to you!

   You guys stop in front of a metal door, he brings out a card and swipes it, a couple of beeps and it opens! 

"This is the key to doors."

   You nod. He leads you guys through a hall then two buff security guards are side by side.

   You sweat drop with a gulp as these guys were looking at you like some prey... You smiled nervously—accidentally showing off your fangs.

"Meet our new guard for tonight and tomorrow night! So you guys don't need to worry about coming here over night."

   Micheal smiles and pats one of their shoulders, they gruffly nodded and let you guys through. 

   Your ears and tail goes down as you walk, you pathetically wave with a small smile and walk in. You acted like a shy dog!

   Your nose wiggles at the smell of pure gold! You look ahead go see a gold dolphin statue with gem eyes, glowing beautifully under the light. How majestic it looked you thought.

"A beauty I told ya."

"Yeah it's pretty."

   You fondly said.

"We may have every protection for this thing but there are smart thieves that can hack through the system and steal it. Like the Crimson Paw."

"The Crimson Paw?"

"One of the best of the best bad guy out there, stole the zumpango diamond twice, one for profit and one for fun! Never identified and never caught."

"Huh interesting character."

   They sounded familiar... You think that some of your co-workers has met the Crimson Paw and had trouble to bring them justice.

"Yeah and recently there's been no activity of the Paw. Wonder what happened... Oh well!"

   Micheal laughs it off while you just laugh too slightly.

"Here's the card to get in and out, the security guards outside will come in the morning at 6 am. You'll be here in 8 to 6."

"Okay sir. I won't let you down."

   You smile widely at him, being a happy dog he just hands you the card and waves goodbye with his assistant. 

    You can hear him leave, when he was gone you slouch your shoulders and sigh.

"I really want to ruin my mental health."

   Rubbing your head to feel the drowsiness coming back as you felt tired again. 

   You stretched your arms and back, side to side. 

    While you wait for the afternoon to turn into the night, you just stood around and kept your guard up, leaning against a wall, fiddling with your fingers, heck using your sword like your air fighting in pure boredom!

   You yawned, rubbing your eyes as you lean on a chair you're sitting on.

    You asked for a chair and got a chair! You watched the dolphin still. Nothing yet..

   Nothing....

   Not a single fly....

   Maybe it won't hurt to slowly close your eyes for a while. How long has it been since you had a good sleep? A month? Three months ago? 

   Well you slowly shut your eyes, doing a frog blink then closed them...

   Till a sudden scent of perfume hits your nose. That made you perk up and lift your sword.

   Pointing it at a dark shadow, you sniffed the air again and growl.

"You."

"Yes, it's mee~!"

   A soft voice said out. 

   Who walks out was a cat lady dressed in all black with gold strips from her arms and legs, even ones around her waist. 

   She smirks as she walks in the spotlight. Her tail flicking with devious intentions... 

   The Black Chat. One of the best closest to the Crimson Paw, known for stealing gems and jewels for fun or intentions. She has been caught but escapes easily. Her identity was never revealed as she's stubborn to tell her name! 

"What. Are you doing here Black Chat."

"Oh just checking on my favorite doggies new job! Wow the Fine Arts museum, how nice.."

   She looks around with wonder, then her yellow eyes peers at the Golden Dolphin.

"Don't even think about touching it."

   You sternly said, your teeth slightly bearing, your grip on your sword tightens as you walk closer to the Golden Dolphin.

   Black Chat raises a brow, then laughs.

"Haha! You really think this is worth a steal for me? I only go after shiny things, that glimmers under a light, that illuminates its beauty! Like jewels and gems~"

   In a quick pace she was already at the other side with you, her yellow eyes glowing as she stared in yours, like a siren with a song you felt wobbly with her closeness.

   You step back away from her.

"Then why are you here?"

"Just to see you. I'm starting to miss our fights for a while and was hoping for a fight now but this dumb gold is not worth a fight for me."

   You roll your eyes.

"Oh well, I'll see you soon, that I know~"

   She purrs out, her fingers trailing against the back of your head made you tense up. She chuckles and scratches the back of your ears, that's how your whole body loosens up. 

   Natural dog instincts yeah? 

   Your tail wagging, your fur puffs up, and your mouth twitches as you try and contain a smile. She softly giggles and jumps away before you could yell at her to stop.

   Seeing her gone you look up to see her waving a small bye and leaves, fading into the darkness of the night.

    Your face still reddish you huff and ruffle the back of your head to fix it up.

"Always trouble she is.."

   The Black Chat has always teased you in a way that makes you frustrated, she toys with you and even flirts? You don't even know as you're in no experience with romance.

   She may be attractive yes, but that won't stop you from defending anything! (She mostly goes for jewels) And unlike you, you're not willing to lose this job as it's the only job that gives your family a healthy life!

   Adjusting your sword back in place you go back to sit down, crossing your arms with a serious look.

   As the night continues on and you watch the Golden Dolphin like a hawk.
