Midoriya's P.O.V.
"We'll dance and sing 'til sundown, and feast with abandon, we'll sleep when the morning comes and we'll rise by the sound of the birdsongs," I sing to myself quietly.
I loved to sing. Only when I was alone, though, that wasn't really a problem where I lived.
My abode was a small cottage in the middle of a wide expanse of trees and nature. No one else was around here. It's been a long while since I've seen another elf like me.
There was a small pond just to the left of my house. It was crystal clear and had cute little fish swimming all around in it.
Vibrant and colorful tall trees tower over the little clearing with patches of small white and blue wildflowers scattered around.
The multitude of colorful leaves happily floats down to the soft grass, as a chilly wind sweeps through. Autumn had to be a favorite season of mine!
"We'll be here when the world slows down and the sunbeams fade away; keeping time by a pendulum as the fabric starts to fray," I continue to sing to myself.
A rustle of leaves distracts me and I turn around in haste. A little bunny hops out from a bush.
"Aww," I squeal.
"Hello! I'm Izuku. I'm gonna pet you, is that okay?" I smile at the bunny, crouching down.
He stays put, his little nose twitching up and down quickly. I reach out my hand and stroke it's back. So soft!
Little elf factoid here, but animals and creatures don't really mind us. They aren't scared and see us a friend.
"I think I'll name you Toffee!" I giggle to myself, continuing to pet it's soft brown fur.
Another chilly wind sweeps the clearing. I shiver and wrap the cardigan I was wearing tightly over myself.
"I better head back inside, Toffee. It's getting cold." And darker too. The sky had begun to dim and the sun was setting.
I stand up and wave goodbye to my new bunny friend. I open the old wooden door of my cottage and step inside. I pull off my shoes, placing them neatly to the side.
I sigh to myself, curling up in my bed. I wrap a soft blanket around myself and cuddle into it. Pulling out my journal, I sketch Toffee.
Drawing was a hobby of mine. I would draw almost anything. For example, Toffee, my new bunny friend.
The journal was a leather-bound, dark green color with a leaf imprint on the front. It had a thick leather string tying it closed.
Pages upon pages of sketches and little short stories about my life and day-to-day activities filled the journal.
I finish the details of the sketch, tying the journal shut and setting it on my bedside table. I pull the lamp chain and the room goes dark.
I don't really like the dark so I shut my eyes tight, pulling the covers over my head and fall asleep quickly.
