Where she was, she didn't know.

It was obvious a dream, a soft one, pleasant.

Someone was humming, combing long nails through her hair as she seemingly remained on their lap, unmoving.

"It has been long since a human managed to earn the favor of both children of the night and children of entropy. Two blessings, and two guardians. Truly a spectacle."

The song wisping from her reminded of a warm embrace, sweet and kind.

"Believe it or not, those you haven't met may one day be less frightening, some already wish to meet you, some motives more questionable then others. You desire a feeling of safety, so you may shy away, as in your nature, but may I tell you a little secret?"

Her body wasn't able to move in this dreamland, so it seemed it was a rhetorical question.

"Some among them have memories of you from back when this all was a little game on a littler screen. Dreams of when you chose them to fight in games, although memories are vague of dreams, really, some have nearly forgotten it all. Those who fought the most, have dreamed of it the most. One day, they will fight beside you again.
