Keiko and her girlfriend, Hanako, arrived at the Bokuto household early in the morning. (F/n) was still asleep when they arrived and she didn’t wake up until nine in the morning. When she did, she heard everyone conversing in the living room so she ran outside, blanket and owl plushy in hand, and saw Keiko.

“Sister-owl!” (F/n) greeted happily as she climbed onto the couch Keiko was sitting on and hugged her.

Keiko grinned, “Hey little one,” she ruffled her hair, “Look how big you’ve grown,”

(F/n) smiled before she turned to the stranger on the left. Keiko smiled as she saw (F/n)’s hesitancy.

“(F/n), this is Hanako,” Keiko introduced her girlfriend.

Hanako smiled, “Hi (F/n),” she gave a small wave, “Your sister has told me a lot about you,”

(F/n) blink and waved back slightly before hugging Keiko.

Keiko chuckled, “Since when were you a nervous one?”

Rui comes walking in, “Since you left for college,”

Keiko rolled her eyes, “All of you are too soft toward her,” Keiko stood up, (F/n) in her arms, “Come on, you need to eat breakfast,”

It was now eleven in the morning and Koutarou, Keiko, Kaede, and (F/n) were playing volleyball. Well, more like the three older Bokuto’s were teaching (F/n) how to play volleyball. Rui and Hanako stayed on the sidelines, watching them and acting like volleyball managers.

“Okay, remember what Akaashi taught you baby-owl!” Koutarou said as Keiko held the ball up so (F/n) could hit it.
(F/n) nodded and she spiked the ball.

Everyone cheered for her, amused by the scene since it was adorable.

“You know,” Haneko was observing (F/n), “She’d make a great volleyball player,”

Rui nodded, “Definitely,”

Hanako glanced at Koutarou, “You can see how much Kou has influenced (F/n),”

Rui nodded, “Oh yeah, he’s had quite the influence on her, ever since she was born,”

Hanako smiled, “That’s what Keiko said. She told me how he made sure she spent enough time with him so that he would be her favorite,”

Rui smiled, “Well it definitely paid off,”

Koutarou severed the volleyball and Keiko received it before she spiked it herself. Kaede received her spike and Koutarou spiked it back. (F/n) was running around the court, avoiding the ball (and pretending like she was actually playing). Keiko then called (F/n) over to hit the ball again.

This continued for another hour before Hiromi called all of them inside for lunch.

Keiko, Hanako, and (F/n) were walking to the convenience store. (F/n) was holding onto Hanako’s hand while Keiko walked behind them. Keiko saw the scene and smirked.

“You look good with kids,” Keiko told Hanako.

Hanako blushed and shot Keiko a glare, “Shut up,”

(F/n) looked at the two, “You two are like Sissy-owl and Rui-nii,”

Keiko and Hanako both blushed at this.

“Say, (F/n), Nee-san mentioned that you had a little boyfriend at Kou’s camp,” Keiko asked.

(F/n) nodded, “His name is Takumi, he’s really nice,”

Hanako smiled, “Nice huh? How?”

(F/n) smiled, “He made me a flower crown and he called me his queen,”

Keiko and Hanako shot each other a look of awe, “That’s adorable,”

(F/n) nodded, “He’s like Rui-nii,”

Hanako looked at (F/n), “Like Rui-nii?”

Keiko jumped in, “(F/n) admired Rui-nii since Nee-san brought him home for the first time. She often said that she wouldn’t want any other guy if they weren’t like him,”

Hanako smiled, “So this Takumi is like Rui-nii?”

(F/n) nodded, “Even better than Rui-nii!”

Keiko smiled, “Damn, I can’t believe my little sister has a better love life at such a young age compared to me when I was a child,”

Hanako raised her eyebrow, “You didn’t even know which gender you liked back then, how could you expect to have a love life?”

Keiko placed a hand on her heart, “Ouch, low blow,”

Hanako smirked.

It was a quiet night in the Bokuto household. Everyone was asleep in their respective rooms. (F/n) was asleep in her room, hugging her owl plushie. However, she kept tossing and turning, whimpers coming out of her mouth. She was having a nightmare.

(F/n) was walking around when she saw Takumi in the distance with his brother. (F/n) smiled and ran over, tapping Takumi on the shoulder. When he turned around, he looked confused.

“Excuse me?” he said, “Do I know you?”

(F/n)’s eyebrows furrowed, “It’s me, Takumi!”

Takumi looked confused and held onto his brother tighter, “I don’t know you,”

(F/n) frowns, “B-but… we have matching owl plushies…”

Takumi steps away, “Nii-chan, can we leave,”

(F/n) watches as Takumi leaves with his brother. Her heart sank and she started to cry.

(F/n) woke up and started crying. She alerted everyone in the house. Koutarou was the first one who practiclaly fell off his bed and ran over to (F/n)’s room.

“Baby-owl?!” Koutarou sat on (F/n)’s bed as (F/n) hugged him while crying. Keiko, Kaede, Rui, and Hanako come into the room as well.

“What’s wrong?” Koutarou asks.

(F/n) continues to cry as she shakes her head. Koutarou eventually pulls (F/n) so she’s sitting on his lap while she cries into his chest.

“She must’ve had a nightmare,” Kaede said, yawning.

“I’ll get her some water,” Rui said as he left the room to get some water.

(F/n) pulls away and sniffles while she wipes her eyes, “W-what if Takumi forgets me…?”

Keiko, Hanako, Kaede, and Koutarou all exchange looks, realizing what was happening.

“He’s not going to forget you baby-owl,” Koutarou said, wiping her cheeks, “I promise,”

(F/n) frowns, “What if he does…?” she started to cry again.

Koutarou hugged her, stroking her hair.

This went on for a while and the three siblings and their partners tried to figure out ways to get her to calm down. (F/n) transferred from KOutarou’s lap to Rui’s arms while Koutarou made a phone call.

‘I hope he’s still awake,’ Koutarou said while dialing a certain number. After a couple of rings, the other line picks up.

“Hello?”

Koutarou smiled, “Akaashi… I’m sorry if I woke you,”

“Bokuto-san,” Akaashi said on the other line, “Don’t worry, I was still awake,”

Koutarou wanted to question why but he placed it aside, “Do you think you can call Kuroo,”

Akaashi was confused, “Why do I need to call him?”

“Because he wouldn’t answer if it was from me,” Koutarou admitted.

Akaashi blinked but shrugged, “I mean I guess, but what for?”

Koutarou sighed, “Baby-owl had a nightmare about Takumi forgetting who she was and she won’t calm down. Keiko-nee-san said that maybe calling Kuroo to get Takumi on the line would help her,”

“And if they’re asleep?” Akaashi reasoned.

“It’s the weekend, Kuroo is most likely up with Kenma playing games,” Koutarou said.

“What about Takumi?” Akaashi asked.

“I’m sure if you mention (F/n) he wouldn’t care if he had to wake up or not,” Koutarou said.

Akaashi stayed silent for a couple of seconds before he sighed, “Okay, give me a couple minutes,”

“You’re the best, Akaashi,” Koutarou said as he hung up the phone.

A couple of minutes go by and Koutarou’s phone rings. It was Kuroo.

“Hey,” Koutarou greets.

“Hurry and bring the phone to (F/n) before I change my mind,” Kuroo says.

Koutarou rolls his eyes but walks back to (F/n)’s bedroom. Rui was sitting on (F/n)’s bed while (F/n) was on his lap. She was still sniffling.

“Baby-owl,” Koutarou says gently, “Come here, look who wants to talk to you,”

(F/n) picked her head up and Koutarou placed the phone next to (F/n)’s ear.

“(F/n)?” Takumi’s voice greeted from the other line.

“Takumi?” (F/n) sniffled.

Takumi frowned, “Why are you crying?” he asked.

“Nightmare,” (F/n) replied, “You forgot about me,”

“We made a promise,” Takumi reminded her, “I would never forget you,”

(F/n) wiped her face, “You wouldn’t?”

Takumi shook his head but yawned, “Nope, I would never forget you,”

(F/n) blinked, “Were you sleeping?”

“Yeah, but not for long,” Takumi said.

“That’s a lie,” Kuroo said but Kenma shushed him.

“You should go back to sleep,” Takumi told her, “You need it,”

“You too,” (F/n) said back.

“I will,” Takumi said, “Goodnight, (F/n),”

“Goodnight, Takumi,” (F/n) said back as she rested against Rui’s chest.

Koutarou took the phone back, “Thanks bro,”

Kuroo sighed, “Yeah whatever,”

The two bickered before hanging up. Within minutes, (F/n) fell asleep on Rui’s chest. Rui also ended up falling asleep, which Kaede shook her head at.

“Simpletons, the both of them,” Kaede said as she went back to her bedroom.

Everyone went back to their respective rooms to finish sleeping for the rest of the night. Koutarou made sure to thank Akaashi before he went to sleep.
