Sorry I haven't updated for a while. My writing motivation went away for some reason. But here's another Chuuya one shot to make up for ittt.
Fluff

How this came to be, you had no idea.
One minute you two were on your phones, just enjoying each other's company while exchanging a few words here and there, the next thing you know, you and Chuuya were sitting in a criss-cross position inches in front of each other, engaging in a staring contest.
Chuuya managed to get a day off, which he decided to spend with you. Though you don't know why he chose to spend it with you, you didn't mind all that much. He was your closest friend, and a friend you had managed to become very attracted to.
You stared deeply into his ocean-like eyes (Alexa, play ocean eyes). You imagined all the things his ocean eyes could have seen. Some beautiful things, and dark things as well.
"You really aren't giving up, eh?" The male asked.
You smirked. "Not until you give up first, pretty boy."
His eyes widened at the nickname, catching him off guard. "In your dreams, bitch."
You laughed. "Wow. You are so amazing at giving nicknames."
You grabbed his hands than were placed on his knees, bringing them together. You stared him deeply into his eyes, getting lost in them for a small moment, then kissed his knuckles on both hands. Doing all of it while smiling and watching him trying to keep his composure.
"H-hey! What are you doing?" Chuuya asked, you smiled and batted your eyelashes innocently. You placed his hands on his knees again and your own hands trailed up his arms, slowly, almost sensually. Soon, your hands found their way on his shoulders, then onto his neck, and then on the sides of his face. Your hands cupped his face, a blush evident on his face, although he didn't dare break eye contact with you. Although you admired his determination, you were going to win, no matter the costs.
You slowly brought your face close to his, noses grazing each other by the smallest hair. His eyes widened like saucers. You knew he was losing his composure, which made you internally congratulated yourself.
Slowly, you took one hand off his cheek and brought it up to his hat, making sure he didn't notice what you were about to do.
"Slowly loosing your cool, pretty boy?" You teased.
"What are you going to do?" He asked somewhat slowly.
"This"
"Wha-"
You pushed his hat down to cover his eyes, causing him to close them. You rolled onto your back while grabbing your stomach. Meanwhile, flustered and embarrassed Chuuya was pulling his off of his head and yelling at you.
He got off the bed and stood up, his posture resembling a kid who didn't get a toy he wanted, bratty and angry.
"Seriously? When I was just about to win?! And to think that you were actually about to-"
"Hm? Chuuya, or should I say, loser?" You grinned.
"Agh! Stop calling me that! You only won a staring contest, nothing more."
"Ah but still, I won against you. I won against you in something you were so determined to win. Honestly, it was cute." You laughed.
He stood there, arms crossed, head turned away from you.
You got up and stood in front of him, to which he gave no reaction to. You grabbed his crossed arms and uncrossed them. He turned his head so it was facing the ground. Your hands traveled down to his once again and you grabbed them, bringing them to your face and kissing the knuckles on both of his hands.
Your hands tracked up his arms and found those way to his shoulders, yet again. His brows furrowed while his gaze was still at the floor.
Your hands went from his shoulders, to his neck, and to his cheeks. You cupped his face. Finally, his eyes were on you. Those beautiful ocean eyes. You wished you could stare into them forever.
You brought your face closer to his. Neither of
You were blinking or breaking eye contact Your bodies were touching each other at this point, but neither of you paid any mind to that.
Your noses touched. His eyes widened yet again. You smiled at him. But this time, it wasn't a mischievous smirk, it was a genuine smile.
'Should I? Oh fuck it."
You brought his lips to his. He, of course surprised, didn't know how to react. He didn't kiss back, and you took that as a sign that he didn't want the kiss. You quickly pulled away.
"Oh god. I-I'm so sorry, Chuuya. I didn't know what I was thinking. My body moved faster that my brain an-and I-"
"(Y/N)-"
"Maybe I should just- yeah I'm gonna go."
Before the man could get another word in, you dashed out of his room and his house. You quickly closed the door and ran. To where, you didn't know. You just wanted to get as far away from him as possible. In the distance, you heard the faint calling of your name. You ignored it and just ran farther and faster.
It began to pour when you were running to your unknown destination, but that was the least of your problems right now.
'Why am I so fucking stupid?'
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
How long had it been? A couple hours, at least. The sun set not that long ago and the rain held no sign of stopping soon.
You were cold and hungry. But you felt as if you deserved to stay that way. You felt you deserved it for clearly not seeing that he didn't like you, for seeing that the love you held for him was unrequited.
You vacated a playground at least a few miles away from Chuuya's place, head hung low. Seated on a swing, the rain poured on you nonstop.
It was dark, you were drenched from head to toe, not caring to bring a jacket or anything of that sort. You were kind of relieved it was raining though. The rain mixed in with your tears, so no one could tell you were crying. Not that you were going to let anyone see you in this state.
You sang that random song that was stuck in your head to cheer you up. Your voice slightly cracked as you tried not to cry any harder from replaying the events that happened earlier in your head.
Your singing held no avail and you just put your face in your hands and sobbed like there was no tomorrow to come.
As you were crying, you felt the the rain stop pouring from above you, yet you could still hear the pattering of rain around you. Confused, you took your face out of your hands and looked up.
There you saw Chuuya, wearing nothing but a button up shirt and some black jeans and holding an umbrella.
Your gaze turned to the ground, not wanting to meet his eye.
"How long have you been out here? You're gonna get sick."
You stayed silent.
Noticing your lack of commentary, he bent down in front of you so you could look at him. Though you just closed your eyes, tears still falling from your face. The red-haired male cupped your cheek with one hand and brushed the tears away. You opened your eyes and looked up at him, sadness and regret filling your eyes.
"I'm sorry." Was all you said. His brows furrowed in confusion.
"I'm sorry for doing that. I shouldn't have done it. I was being stupid and getting ahead of myself." You ranted.
"(Y/N)."
"And I was like 'fuck it' when I knew I shouldn't have. I didn't know what was going to happen and it was stupid to think you liked me too."
"(Y/N)."
"I don't even know what went through my body at that moment. I knew I shouldn't have come over to see you because I knew something was gonna happen and it wasn't gonna be a good thi-"
Before you could finish your sentence, you felt something cold on your lips. It was Chuuya's lips. On yours. You gripped the chains of the swing in surprise before placing your arms around his neck, kissing him back.
He broke the kiss, slightly gasping for air. You looked at him in complete surprise, eyes widened.
"Look, (Y/N). I was so worried when you didn't come back for hours. You scared me. I came out here and looked for you because I care for you. I care for your well-being and for you as a person, for who you are. Why do you think I asked you to hang out with me today? Because I care for you. I care for you so fucking much it hurts. When we were doing that stupid little staring contest and you were teasing me, I thought you were genuinely going to kiss me. And when you didn't, my heart broke there for a second. Ya know?"
He looked at you, you stares into his eyes, listening very intently. He sighed and shook his head.
"But when you actually kissed me. And I mean actually kissed me. I was happy. Really happy. I mean, it happened so fast and I didn't know how to react. That's why I didn't kiss you back. Believe me, I was ecstatic. I wanted to, but you ran away from me before I could."
He cupped your cheek with the hand that wasn't holding the umbrella and caressed your cheekbone with his thumb.
"I like you, (Y/N). I really do. I would go as far to say that I love you. I want to spend every waking moment in your company. Holding you, spending time with you, and talking to you. Being in the Port Mafia can be a stressful and annoying job. But when I see you, smiling and laughing, all the negative emotions I'm feeling just go out the window. You make me feel happy. Genuinely happy."
You stared at him for a moment longer. And then smiled. He smiled back at you.
"Now cmon. You're cold as fuck and I'm probably gonna have to take care of you when you get sick, you big dummy."
He helped you off the swing by holding your hand, you walking beside him while chuckling.
Sure it had been a misunderstanding, but sometimes misunderstandings can lead to good things.
