The dim light of the abandoned gym flickered above Gabriella as she stood in the center of the room, sweat dripping down her forehead. Her breaths were heavy, a mixture of exertion and frustration. Across from her, Erica leaned casually against a stack of mats, her arms crossed, a sly smirk playing on her lips.

"You know," Erica drawled, her tone dripping with mockery, "for someone who once lit up like a human torch, you're not exactly impressive right now. Maybe you should try getting angry? I mean, Deucalion isn't going to wait for you to have a zen moment."

Gabriella glared at her, the heat of irritation bubbling under her skin. "I am trying, Erica," she snapped, shaking out her hands. "Do you think I want to be powerless right now?"

Isaac, sitting on a bench nearby, let out a derisive chuckle. "You're not powerless," he said, spinning a lacrosse ball in his hands. "You're just... out of practice. Dormant, rusty, whatever you want to call it. Maybe you need to almost die again to kickstart the magic. Worked before."

Gabriella shot him a look. "Helpful as always, Isaac. Thanks for the pep talk."

Erica sauntered over, her golden eyes glinting with mischief. "You know," she said, her voice dropping into a low, flirtatious tone, "there are other ways to get your adrenaline going." She tilted Gabriella's chin up with a finger, her lips curving into a wicked grin. "Maybe you just need the right kind of motivation."

Gabriella rolled her eyes, though she couldn't suppress the faint smirk tugging at her lips. "You're impossible," she muttered, stepping back to put some space between them.

Before Erica could retort, Gabriella's phone buzzed loudly on the nearby mat. She snatched it up, seeing Scott's name flashing on the screen. Her stomach twisted.

"Scott?" she answered, her voice already tinged with worry.

"Gabby," Scott's voice came through, strained and urgent. "somebody else was kidnapped."

Deputy cars hurtle into the lot while Sheriff Stilinski tries to get statements from Melissa and Scott with Stiles's help as Gabriella, erica and isaac listen from afar

"Dr. Hilyard's car. The On Call doctor. The ER Attending is the one that never showed up"

Pen paused over his notebook, Stilinski peers up to the scene of the accident, the witnesses gathered, the crashed car.

"Melissa, let me just focus on getting your story first. Boys, give us a second"

Scott and Stiles retreat back too Gabriella, erica and isaac

Stiles's attention stays on Stilinski, however, noticing his father's troubled demeanor "These are definitely sacrifices, And it's one Deaton mentioned..Healers"

Erica smirked faintly, her tone laced with sarcasm. "Guess even homicidal maniacs need a theme. Makes it easier to plan their schedule."

"Erica," Gabriella said sharply, shooting her a warning look.

"What? I'm just saying," Erica replied, holding up her hands innocently.

Isaac snorted. "It's not a bad observation, honestly. They're methodical, which means they've got a plan. Question is, how do we stop it before someone else gets taken?"

The sound of Stilinski's CELL PHONE RINGING interrupts them Stiles glances to Gabriella "Can you hear that?"

Gabriella nodded and foucses on the phone call "They found a body"

The hallway buzzed with the usual chaos of students rushing to their next classes, but Gabriella's focus was on her locker as she swapped out books. She barely registered Ethan's approach until his voice broke through the din.

"You've got a habit of making dramatic exits," Ethan said, leaning casually against the lockers next to hers.

Gabriella turned her head, one eyebrow arching in mild surprise. "And you've got a habit of showing up unannounced," she replied, her tone dry but not entirely unkind.

Ethan chuckled softly, his usual confident demeanor tempered by something quieterβ€”gratitude, maybe. "I meant it, you know. About thanking you for saving my life."

Gabriella shut her locker and slung her bag over her shoulder, meeting his gaze. "You're welcome," she said simply. "But don't forget, Stiles insists he was the one who actually saved you."

Ethan smirked. "I'll send him a fruit basket."

That earned him a small, reluctant smile from Gabriella, but it was gone just as quickly as it appeared. She shifted her weight, leaning against the lockers. "So, what is it this time? Are you here to pass along more cryptic messages about Derek, or is this just a social visit?"

Ethan's smile faded, and his expression turned serious. "Actually, it's about you."

Gabriella's eyes narrowed slightly. "Me?"

He nodded. "The pack knows what you didβ€”how you ran into the fire to save Scott and Stiles, how you've been fighting to keep your pack safe. Kali... she doesn't see it as strength. She sees it as a weakness."

Gabriella tensed, her jaw tightening. "And you? What do you see it as?"

Ethan hesitated for a moment before answering. "I think it's brave. Reckless, maybe, but brave. You care about your friends more than yourself. That's not something you see every day in our world."

Gabriella's gaze softened slightly, but her guard didn't drop. "Why are you telling me this, Ethan? Are you warning me? Threatening me?"

"No," Ethan said firmly. "I just think you should be careful. Kali doesn't play by the same rules you do. She's not going to hesitate to use your compassion against you."

Gabriella crossed her arms, her eyes hardening again. "Thanks for the tip. I'll keep that in mind."

Ethan straightened, the weight of his warning clear in his posture. "Just... don't underestimate her. Or Deucalion."

Gabriella nodded slowly, her voice low but steady. "I won't."

As Ethan turned to leave, she called after him. "Ethan."

He stopped, glancing back over his shoulder.

"Thanks," she said, her voice softer this time.

Ethan gave her a faint smile before disappearing into the crowd of students, leaving Gabriella standing by her locker, deep in thought but her phone rang snapping back to reality

She checked who it was, it was Scott she picked up the phone and the first thing she hears "deaton is missing"

"Can't you ever have good news"

While his Deputies scour the clinic for clues, Stilinski tries to comfort Scott with Stiles, Gabriella and erica now by his side.

"All right, we're going to do everything we can. The best thing you can do is go back to school" the sheriff puts a hand on Scott's shoulder, giving it a comforting squeeze and then steps out to the waiting area.

Scott throws them a look, gesturing for them to follow into the cage room where they'll be out of earshot "We have to tell him"

"You mean like tell him tell him? Or tell him something else that isn't telling him what I think you want to tell him"

"You know what I mean...your dad already connecting dots, but he's still thinking like a cop. We need to think like... well, us."

"Us?" Erica quirked an eyebrow. "You mean werewolves and whatever Gabby's turning into now?"

Gabriella shot her a dry look but didn't rise to the bait. Instead, she turned back to Scott. "am still just a werewolf nothing else"

Fingers grasping the wire of a cage, Stiles peers back into the waiting area at his father "What if telling him gets him killed? I get Deaton's been like a father to you scott. I get that. But this is my actual father. I can't lose
both my parents. Not both of them" His words come out clipped and furious. Almost spit out Scott takes it with a calm nod.

"Okay. You're right" He starts to turn away, but Stiles stops him.

"No, I'm not. I'm not right. I'll tell him"

"We'll help you"

Stiles lets out a deep breath. Then takes a first step toward the waiting room.

But they all halt when they see someone unexpected speaking to Stilinski.

"Please. Whatever you need. However I can help find my brother"

Scott turns to Gabriella who mouths "brother?" Seeing she's caught their attention, Morrell approaches the four, lowering her voice to an urgent whisper.

"Listen closely, No Sheriff, Deputy or Detective is going to be able to find him"

"You don't have to ask us for help"

"Actually, I'm trying to help you. Because if you're going to find my brother then you need to use the one person who might actually have an ability to seek out the supernatural"

"Who?"

Morrell looks to Gabriella for the answer.

"Lydia"

[...]

They made it to the school and they all split up trying to find Lydia, Gabriella made her way to coach's office and she saw Cora's hand grabbing lydia by the wrist "Let go. I said--"

"Let go" Gabriella steps through on the locker room side of the office.

Noting her dead serious look, Cora finally releases Lydia.

Lydia rubbed her wrist, glaring at Cora as she backed away. "What the hell is your problem?" she snapped, her voice sharp and unwavering.

Cora's eyes darted to Gabriella, her expression unreadable but tense "my problem is Deucalion's daughter knowing our every step"

Gabriella's eyes narrowed as she stepped further into the room, her posture shifting into something more commanding , her voice cold but controlled. "You think I'm working with him?"

Cora didn't flinch, her jaw tightening. "Don't pretend you're not involved in this. We both know the truth."

Lydia, still rubbing her wrist, glanced between the two women, her voice sharp. "Hold on. What exactly are you implying? Gabriella's not like him."

Cora's eyes flickered to Lydia, then back to Gabriella, her gaze filled with a mix of wariness and disdain. "You're his daughter, Gabriella. That doesn't just disappear because you want it to."

"And your Peter's niece, you don't see me accusing you of being a psychotic asshole"

"My uncle is on our side"

"But once he was against us"

Cora's eyes flickered with a flash of anger at Gabriella's words, but she didn't respond immediately. Instead, she took a step back, her posture tense, as if weighing her options.

"Peter was a liability," Cora finally said, her voice sharp. "But now he's part of the pack. And if you're going to throw around family ties, remember, we've all got a history. Your father's is darker than Peter was."

Gabriella's fists clenched at her sides, but she forced herself to remain calm. "My father's darkness is his own. You can keep blaming me for his actions, but that doesn't make me him." Her voice hardened, the words coming out like ice. "You don't know me. Don't pretend you do."

Lydia, seeing the growing tension between them, stepped forward, putting a hand on Gabriella's arm. "Cora, you're right about one thing," she said, her tone serious. "Family history can't be ignored, but it's not the whole story. Gabriella is trying to stop him, not work with him."

Cora's gaze shifted back to Lydia, her jaw tightening as if trying to read the situation. "I don't trust anyone connected to him," she muttered under her breath, before turning back to Gabriella. "But I don't have time to waste on this. We've got bigger problems. Deucalion is still out there, and I'm not going to let anyoneβ€”especially someone with ties to himβ€”slow us down."

Gabriella stood tall, her eyes unwavering. "I'm not going to slow you down, Cora. I'm here to help, whether you like it or not." She didn't wait for a response, stepping past her toward Lydia. "Let's focus on what's important, alright?"

Lydia gave Gabriella a small, appreciative nod, though the tension in the room lingered.

Cora glared at Gabriella for a long moment, before she exhaled sharply and walked toward the door. "Fine. But don't expect me to go easy on you. The moment you prove you're still loyal to Deucalion, I'll deal with you myself."

"Honey, I'll have your head thrown across the room before you can even flinch"

In the empty classroom, Stiles opens a BOX on one of the tables in front of Cora, Gabriella, erica and Lydia.

Peering inside, Lydia removes a PLANCHETTE from the box as Stiles unfolds a tell-tale board with letters and numbers on it.

"A Ouija board?"

"Also called a spirit board"

Gabriella pointed at the box "ages 8 and up?"

Stiles shrugged "it's worth a shot"

"A shot in the dark" Lydia said

"Will you just try? This is for Scott's boss. The guy who's saved our collective asses more than once".He sets the planchette in the middle of the board.

"All of us?" Erica questioned making Stiles nod

They each gently place their fingers on the edge of the planchette. "Ready? Okay... Where is Dr. Deaton?"

They wait. Each of them peering down at the planchette, focusing on it.

Lydia purses her lips, bored. Then notices
There all watching her "What?"

"Answer it" Erica said

"I don't know the answer. I thought we were asking some sort of spirit?"

Cora took her hand of the board "Do you know any spirits?"

Lydia looked at Gabriella "Is she for real? You know, this whole thing is just a product of
the ideomotor response....Your body can reflexively respond to an idea the same way your knee responds to the tap of a hammer. So yes, I could subconsciously answer the question. But it doesn't mean I'm going to be right"

Cora looked at Lydia weirded out by her explanation before turning to face Gabriella "Is she always like this?"

"Unfortunately" Gabriella put the box away as Stiles pull out a SET OF KEYS.

"These are Deaton's keys to the Clinic. Close your eyes. I'll put them in your hand and you try to get a feel for his location. It's called psychometry"

Lydia shook her head "I'm not psychic"

Stiles looked at her in disbelief and frustration "You're something. Try, okay?"

Lydia closes her eyes and holds out her hand. Stiles places the keys in her palm making her flinch

Stiles looked at her excited thinking she git somthing "What?"

"They're cold"

"Lydia, concentrate. Trying to save lives here"

Fed up lydia threw the keys down "I don't know why you're bothering with me anyway. Especially when it's completely obvious that you should be talking to Danny"

"Danny? Why Danny?"

"Because last night he was a target..." They turn to see Scott walking in, holding his shoulder "But he wasn't a sacrifice"

Scott places PRINT OUTS on the steel table,
rebuilding the blacklight photo of the Beacon Hills map.

"Okay, how does this kid's homework have anything to do with finding Deaton? " Cora asks

"Because it's not just homework. It's a project on geo-magnetic fields. They flow through the earth and can even be affected by lunar

phases. Look at this. It's a note from Harris on Danny's proposal" Gabriella shows them Danny's proposal page where teacher's notes have been written in RED. Lydia reads it aloud.

"Danny, I strongly advise you to choose another subject. The ideas here, while innovative and thoughtful, border on
pseudoscience. Not suitable for class...Harris wasn't just a sacrifice. He knew something"

"Am I the only one glad he's dead" Erica said

"No-" Gabriella said gaining looks from everyone

"Anyways Now check this out. Allison's dad
wasn't the only one with a map"Stiles unfolds a normal road map of Beacon Hills. Strange
wavy lines have been marked all over it "Danny marked the telluric currents. And the weird thing about Beacon Hills is that it literally is a beacon. There's tons of energy
surging through the earth around this town"

"Stiles, look. They match" Gabriella grabs a BLACK MARKER. Using the symbols on Argent's map, she puts down marks on
Danny's map "There's three places, right? The place where they're first kidnapped"

Gabriella marks Kyle's disappearance at the Animal Clinic "The place where their bodies are found" she marks the appearance of Kyle's body in the woods near the
school "It's right on the telluric current So maybe the place where he was sacrificed is somewhere in between and there's six more bodies to be found. Deaton's one of them"

Gabriella quickly marks them on the map. The last one falls on a telluric current that leads back to the Animal Clinic "He has to be somewhere in-between, right?"

Gabriella traces her finger across the map when Cora puts her hand over hers and guides it back to a landmark titled BEACON HILLS FIRST NATIONAL "He's in the vault. The same vault"

Grabbing his helmet, Scott hurries for the door with the others behind him. All except for Cora, which Gabriella notices "Guys, hold on"

They turn around to see Cora looking at her phone with a troubled expression "It's from Boyd. His plan didn't work. They cut the power"

Gabriella sighed "Ok Lydia, Stiles, Scott you go help deaton and erica, cora and I will help boyd"

Before any of them can protest, Gabriella pushes through the door of the clinic and makes her way to the car with the two she-wolves behind her

The door to the ELECTRICAL ROOM breaks open. Cora rushes in with Gabriella and erica right behind her, all of them glancing about a confusing array of circuit breakers.

"What do we do?"

"Pull them. All of them"

Together, they begin yanking the breakers

When they turned everything on they made there way upstairs as fast as they can

There Footsteps announcing there arrival they looked around not seeing anyone from the opposing pack

Gabriella looked at derek who was holding boyd...no heart beat coming from him

They were too late.

Gabriella rushes to Boyd's body, devastated.

Gabriella drops to her knees beside Boyd's lifeless body, her hands trembling as she gently places her fingers on his neck, searching for any sign of life. Her heart races as she feels nothingβ€”no pulse, no breath. Her eyes burn with tears that refuse to fall. She glances up at Derek, who stands motionless, his expression unreadable. The weight of failure presses heavily on her chest.

"No... no, no, no!" Gabriella's voice cracks, the desperation in her tone sharp as she looks around, as if searching for some miracle to save him. Her hands hover over Boyd's chest, her mind racing through everything she knows about supernatural healing, but nothing is coming to her. She slams her fist on the ground in frustration.

Erica steps forward, her eyes dark with grief and fury. "We were too late." Her voice is almost a whisper, but the anger behind it is palpable. She turns away, unable to look at Boyd's body for a moment longer.

Cora moves up behind Gabriella, placing a hand on her shoulder, her usual tough exterior faltering just a little. "We'll get them back, Gabriella. This isn't over."

But Gabriella can barely hear her, consumed by the grief and guilt of not being able to save him. "I should haveβ€”" Her words falter as she looks down at Boyd again, the weight of what they'd lost sinking in deeper with every passing second.

First it was lucas now boyd

She was sick of losing people because of Deucalion
