The girls decided to get some yogurt like Doyeon and just follow Taeyong's advice. Get whatever it is that will make you happy at the moment.

"I'm nervous of introducing my parents to Hyeop. What if they're embarrassing?" Doyeon muttered before eating a spoonful of yogurt. This frozen yogurt always made her nerves calm down for some reason.

"Hyeop will never notice it because he's nervous himself." Somi told her, maybe it'll make her think less about that.

"Already?" Soyeon asked. "Don't get me wrong but isn't it too soon to introduce him to your parents?" she asked, Soyeon knew how Doyeon's parents are. They always intrigue Doyeon's boyfriends to the extent of breaking up with Doyeon.

"I wanted to. Not only he's good looking but after spending time with him, I saw a different part of the world. One that's worth living for." she said.

"We're still kids, we don't know what we're living for." Soyeon interjected as if she knew better, but as far as everybody know in this table, she's just the same age as everyone else here and hasn't experienced much too.

"But we don't need to wait for that moment. Haven't you been listening to TY Track's advice?" Doyeon argued. "Time is running, and we can't wait around for the right time."

"And what if you're too fast? Have you asked if he wanted this? What's next, ask him to introduce you to his parents?" Soyeon asked leaving Doyeon speechless.

But why is that a problem? After this it'll be over, the both of them will be legally dating.

"Has he told stories about his parents? Do you know if he has parents to introduce you to?" Soyeon tried to change her mind. There were doubts in Doyeon's mind.

Not that she thought about it, Hyeop only talks about Hyunbin and his cousins, not his parents. It's a subject that they always avoid.

She peeked on her phone to see the time, and it's almost time to meet up with him.

"I need to go. Hyeop might be waiting for me by now. He's always ahead of time when we're meeting." Doyeon excused herself before literally running like flash out of the store.

Their usual meeting place was at the tteokbokki stand. When Doyeon got there, Hyeop's already chatting with the ahjussi, selling tteokbokki. They were chuckling and having a good conversation.

She's proud to say that that's her boyfriend, he gets along with people easily.

"Hi handsome." she teased before stealing away his food.

"Wow! Did I just got lucky? A pretty lady is talking to me." he muttered making the vendor roll his eyes at this cute regular customer of his.

"Ready to meet my parents?" she asked scanning him from head to toe. Surprisingly he looks like the typical Kwon Hyeop who wears hoodie, ripped jeans and vans. Nothing overboard and nothing too fancy.

Cool!

All set.

The two of them walked to the bus station to Doyeon's house. Each and every step made them more nervous about this. The longest they wait for the bus, the more they realized that it was a bad idea.

Was it?

They're not sure anymore at this point, but they're still planning to do it. There's no turning back now. As soon as a bus stopped, they went inside sitting at the back seat.

The two of them held hands but said nothing. There's too much thoughts flooding their heads, that they're not in the right mind to talk.

Doyeon stood up first when she finally saw her bus stop. Still holding Kwon Hyeop's hands, he took him with her exiting the bus. "We need to walk from here." she informed him before entering this really huge property. There's a golf course just beside the road, nicely trimmed grass and people who are playing.

"You own this?" Kwon Hyeop asked in amazement.

"My parents own it. It's the reason why I brag about money. Do you have any idea how much we earn from this? Apparently rich and spoiled brats are willing to pay much money just to hit balls, find it then hit it again until they finally get it into a hole." Doyeon said as if it was a pointless waste of money.

But Kwon Hyeop wanted to try. Not everybody gets to play golf. Only rich people can.

As soon as they reached the main entrance, Doyeon was given her keys to her own golf cart. She has this well maintained golf clubs that looks expensive.

So she plays too.

Hyeop smirked before sitting beside her and pinching her nose before she starts to drive. "How could you insult the sport when you play it too?" he said before letting her nose go.

Doyeon's face turned into crimson, catching up with the color of her pinched nose. She felt so embarrassed that she didn't want to show her face. "In my defense, I am not a spoiled brat. I don't pay to play." she defended making Hyeop laugh louder.

"Even worse. You don't pay to play. It only means that you really are a spoiled brat." he laughed.

Doyeon now felt awful for being the girl who gets what he wanted easily. It's like she never worked hard for anything but of course she does. In school, before she takes that quiz and exams, she also stay up all night like the other students.

"Since your parents can spoil you with finances, let me spoil you with loyalty." he said said before looking around as if he didn't say one thing that Doyeon hasn't heard from a guy before.

She was all innocent and ignorant about the golf course, like he didn't know that what he said was what every girl would want to hear from a guy.

They reached Doyeon's house at the end of the villa's that can be rented for members. It was big, clean and classy. Doyeon grew up on this fancy house.

Doyeon's beautiful mother welcomed them with kisses and hugs. They're touchy, Hyeop should've been warned. He was so startled that he jolted up when Doyeon's mother kissed his cheeks too.

"Aren't you the most handsome guy I have ever met in my entire life?" she remarked scanning Hyeop from head to toe. Just like every other guy Doyeon has ever introduced to them, but this one seems different in terms of presence.

Those eye has something hidden, a story that he couldn't tell anyone.

Doyeon's father coughed, stealing away Doyeon's mother's attention.

She smiled then grabbed his hand. "I'm wrong, this is the most handsome guy in my life." she joked.

Doyeon couldn't hide the fact that she was embarrassed. Her face was slowly turning red, her breath intervals were frequent. Hyeop held her hands like he did earlier to make sure she's okay.

"Let's get this over with." She muttered before escorting Hyeop to the kitchen. Before the kitchen, there's this huge living room and hallways.

Hyeop couldn't help but notice the portraits on the wall. Some are individual pictures and there's a gigantic family picture, where they're all smiling.

While staring at them one by one like it was a painting exhibition, Hyeop paused in front of Doyeon's cute childhood picture where she's at the beach. She has one of those cute little pale and shovel, digging into the sand.

"That's Doyeon when she was five years old. Back when she was still innocent." Doyeon's mother told Hyeop who seem to be staring at the photo with such fascination.

Doyeon glanced at the said photo, getting her more embarrassed as ever. That was her when she was still a kid who didn't know how to straighten a hair and wear make up. She looked almost red with the sunburn and her hair was a mess.

She yelped, blocking the picture with her hands, but all she can over was a part of the sand that 5-year old Doyeon is sitting on.

"Honey, why are you embarrassed? You're so cute in this portrait." her father said proudly, showing it off to Kwon Hyeop. "She loved the ocean so much that we had to travel to a different provoice just to satisfy her." he told Hyeop.

"Cool, you'd love it in my house. We live near the beach. It's literally walking distance." he said while Doyeon's mother served the food.

"Wow! Near the beach! Doyeon would love that. You have no idea how much she loved the water. One time, we heard her crying at night because she wanted to become a mermaid. She also leave her tooth underneath his pillow for the tooth fairy and always wished to be a mermaid" Doyeon's father revealed, making her flash her warning smile. Her parents knew right away that she wanted them to stop whatever it is that they're doing.

"So Kwon Hyeop, what do your parents do?" Doyeon's father changed the topic as well as changing his expression into a serious one.

"My father is an architect. My mother's a teacher." he said as a short introduction. This has been the first time Doyeon heard about Kwon Hyeop's parents' work.

"Wow! So you must be a brilliant child for having two intelligent parents." Doyeon's mother said.

Kwon Hyeop shook his head instead of agreeing. He recalled what his cousins advised him, he needs to introduce the real Kwon Hyeop and not lie about who he really is.

"I'm just an average student, except for history. I like the teacher, so I'm getting As from him." he said flatly, not bragging.

"Then if you try, you're truly brilliant but you chose not to. That's a waste of intelligence." Doyeon's father remarked before Doyeon flashed her warning smile again.

"I don't really have a problem as long as I'm passing. I can't really waste all my energy in school while sitting, that would've been sad. There's a lot of things outside school that matters more. Things that didn't require high scores in quizzes and exams to prove that you're worth something." he answered, not he's getting Doyeon's warning smile.

He was being too honest this time, that his reckless high school self was getting into character.

"Well that's a good way to enjoy life. I know someone who lived his life comfortably." Doyeon's mother said before kissing her husband.

Doyeon's eyes widened right away. She couldn't believe that they would do it in front of a guest. It was a full on makeout session that made Doyeon fake cough as if she has a major lung disease, just to make them fully aware that there's still people beside them.

As soon as they realized, they pulled away giggling.

Doyeon has totally given up and just decided to not care to whatever her parents do from this moment onwards.

"So, what's the special occasion? Why did you bring a friend over?" Doyeon's father tried to act cool but she still can't believe what they did few seconds ago.

"I'm dating him." Doyeon answered leaving her parents take a good look at Hyeop. He looks nice and courteous, but they need to see him frequently to know more about him.

"Well, so far I like you." Doyeon's father said. "I'd be honest with you, hurt my daughter and you'll be buried alive." he warned, pointing outside the window. It was the golf course. He has to keep in mind that he hurt Doyeon, he'll be buried there.

Hyeop instantly thought about that night when she made Doyeon cry. Chills went down his spine, glancing back at Doyeon's father who doesn't look friendly anymore.

"Daddy! That's impossible. Of course we'd hurt one another, but not purposely." she said calming his father, making Hyeop breathe better until, "Tell him you would hang his heart on the chandelier, and use his balls as golf ball is he break up with me." she said giving Hyeop a warning glare.

"Sociopath." her father muttered. "That's my girl." he said and started chuckling.

Hyeop's knees started to wobble, scared of Doyeon's remark. "You're crazy, but I'd be crazier if I break up with you." he said making Doyeon's parents like him more.

...

"Where are you going?" Daniel asked Seongwoo who's been packing different kinds of canned goods. He looked like he's going to feed typhoon victims. There's not much of that in Korea. Is he flying to the Philippines?

Seongwoo zipped his bag shut glancing at Daniel. "Tell that idiot to take charge of the place while I'm gone. I might be back at dawn." he said pointing at Youngmin who's still playing games, before he carried his bag to his back.

Daniel nodded as if he would still remember that later.

Seongwoo left without saying where he'll be, in case he's needed. Daniel didn't mind. They didn't care where he is until they needed him. Daniel followed him outside the door and watched his worried expression. He wanted to ask him and get some answers but he's afraid that Seongwoo wouldn't open up and avoid them even more.

Was it about Chungha?

They look happy recently, it can't be her. As a matter a fact, she brought Seongwoo's smiles ever since she came.

Daniel decided to come inside when he heard this woman's voice on the hallways. He glanced at the elevator where Seongwoo disappeared to and saw Hyungseob and a woman who looks like his mother.

"I didn't send you to that school and enrolled you to cram school just so you wouldn't join this one contest that I dreamed for you to win." she scolded.

Ahhh! Gifted kid problems.

Daniel closed the door slightly leaving a small crack to eavesdrop.

"This is the only gold medal that you haven't won. You have to bring victory this year. I heard Lim Youngmin transferred. I'll be a great chance for you to win." Hyungseob's mother encouraged him, but to Hyungseob's ear, he was being underestimated by his mother. Not that it's not Youngmin who's keeping him from this gold medal.

Daniel glanced at Youngmin who seem to still be focusing on his game. So this is why these two hated each other the moment they saw each other. It makes sense now.

"Fine, I'll join but if Lim Youngmin joins, don't expect gold." Hyungseob muttered before slamming the door rudely. His mother stood there, staring at his grades on her hands. They were all impressive.

Daniel slowly closed the door, staring at Youngmin who completely resided inside the game. "Any contests you wanna join so far?" Daniel asked just to know if he's planning to compete against Hyungseob, because that would mean Hyungseob won't satisfy his mother this year once again.

Youngmin sighed, "How did you found out?" he asked.

Daniel pouted, thinking about Hyungseob.

"I did audition for JJP Entertainment because Jisol told me that I dance well and I have the potential to become a rapper one day. That's all the encouragement that I needed." Youngmin replied.

Daniel was now glaring at him. Youngmin and him will never get each other. They're always on different pages.

"JJP? That's amazing." Woojin muttered. He magically appeared on the couch or he's as sneaky as a ninja.

What made him think he's at a place to add some side comments?

"Where's the other sausage?" Daniel intrigued.

"We broke up." Woojin answered. "It turns out, he likes Yoojung more than me." he said before raising his bag. "I'm moving out." he said shocking the guys.

Was he joking?

He doesn't look like he is. "But in all seriousness, I need to come back home now. Thank you for taking care of me. Tell Jihoon I'll still see him in Club Hollywood." he saluted before leaving.

They felt sad all of a sudden. Even though Woojin isn't a cousin, he's not just an outsider. Now that he's gone, they felt incomplete. Daniel wanted to beg him to stay but when Youngmin noticed that he's after Woojin, he stopped his attempt.

"Let the kid go home Daniel. At least he has a home to return to." Youngmin said, reminding Daniel about Jihoon's little problem.

The kid hasn't left his room. It's like he's Kim Samuel who's capable of sleeping all day long.

"You're right." Daniel muttered.

The doorbell rang before a mail was left on their doorstep. An old fashioned snail mail from JJP Entertainment. "Hyung!" Daniel was shocked and excited about it. "I think JJP has their reply." he muttered.

Both of them are now excited. Somehow the hole inside them brought about by Woojin's departure was patched up by this letter from JJP.

Youngmin slowly opened it, raising it up so both him and Daniel can read it.

Mr. Lim Youngmin,

"Lacked energy?" Youngmin questioned.

"Better luck next year?" Daniel muttered.

The two of them are ready to curse when Daehwi entered and Samuel got out of his room. There's kids, they need to restrain themselves.

Samuel went to the kitchen to get something to drink. The two started to read the letter again to see if they red it right. They did, but it didn't made sense.

"Come to think of it, you're still invited to support the live show." Samuel muttered.

Both Youngmin and Daniel rolled their eyes at the stupid kid's remark. "And what?" Daniel muttered. "Ruin the event?" he asked, but as soon as he said it, he smirked at the idea.

Sometimes Samuel can be useful.

"Kang Daniel! I know what to do!" Youngmin said. "Videotape me on your phone." he demanded.

Daniel was excited just like Daehwi and Samuel, but then Youngmin started dancing the alpaca dance. The three almost fell on the floor in disappointment.

"What was that?" Daniel asked before youngmin grabbed his phone to burn that Alpaca dance on a blank CD. Who does that these days?

Youbgmin safely placed it on a case, then finally smiled. "This will be stupid and I might regret it in the future. It won't make sense as time passes, but this is what it's like to be young and stupid." he said but they absolutely have no idea what he's doing.

...

Sejeong, Soyeon and Chungha was being served tea at Somi's house by her mother. She desperately wanted to have a little chit chat with Somi's friends that she offered something to drink.

The only problem was, Wooshin's here again.

"Since Sejeong's new here, how do you find the place?" she asked the new friend she met today, placing her on the hot seat right away.

"I think it's beautiful." Sejeong answered even though her focus was at Wooshin and Somi.

"What do you mean I should keep my distance? That's a joke right?" Wooshin whispered but Sejeong can read his lips. Their conversation was better than Somi's mother's questions that needs forced answers.

"I'm sorry but Samuel and I are in bad terms because of it." Somi replied. She was straight forward that Wooshin couldn't think of any excuses to tell her.

But if Samuel's mad, then it only means that he's still a threat to Samuel. What did Somi even like about him? Wooshin didn't saw any personality from Samuel, ever since they became classmates back in Yongin.

"What do you mean 'it'? You're referring to me as 'it'?" Wooshin was offended.

"It's not just you, but my conscience to keep you close to me. I'm sorry but if you don't see me as friend, I don't think I can be friends with you." Somi finally said it.

Sejeong, Soyeon and Chungha automatically tapped on their laps underneath the table when they saw that. It turns out, the three of them are only focused on Somi, not her mother who keeps telling the story about how Somi and Wooshin first met.

"Fine." Wooshin replied, rubbing his temples. "But if Samuel will still be unsatisfied after I back off, I can't promise you that I will just watch him hurt you." he said before standing up.

"I have an emergency. I can't make it to dinner. Sorry." He
