(Flashback)

First day of junior high Sohye was shy and silent at the back without any friends when she saw the prettiest girl she's ever seen in her entire life-Pinky. She was poised and fashionable. With the looks, the body and the height, she'll be the prom Queen, the captain of the cheerleading squad.

She wanted to be friends with her and know where she buys those clothes. But for now, she'll try to be friends with the shy and quiet girl beside her.

"Hi! I'm Sohye." she said confidently, portraying a girl that she wanted to be. The opposite of shy and timid.

"Hi! I'm Yoojung." the shy girl introduced.

Then the most handsome guy entered the room. He's wearing baggy clothes, a bandana on top of his dreadlocks. He was different. His eyes are so pretty-Kim Samuel.

But then everybody pointed at him and called him half breed. Sohye was angry and mad. She wanted to make them stop but afraid to say a word.

Another person entered the room and she has a messy wavy hair covering her face. You can already tell that she'll be the girl who will sit at the back and will never talk the whole year.

Days passed and it went on and on, trying to be cool and staring at Samuel when nobody's with her. She basically became head of cheerleading squad and became a total 'it-girl' of Seoul high.

But noticed from afar how Kim Samuel was starting to become close with the shy girl. It's not like she's a threat, she's a loser and she definitely look like one.

But then, one day she danced during the school festival where they saw her entire face for the first time. But why do they like a half breed girl when they don't like a guy? It's unfair.

But now that she got a little attention, Sohye noticed the both of them growing apart because the shy girl-Jeon Somi, was now famous.

If she becomes an 'it-girl' they'll be more distant. Sohye offered Somi to be a member of their group to take her away completely from her and finally asked Somi to make fun of Samuel. Unexpectedly, she's obedient. She'd rather save herself than make fun of Samuel.

It made Sohye happy, that Somi was now making fun of Samuel. Everyday she made her like a monster and when Somi's not looking, she would go to Samuel and try to make small conversations, but he would never respond.

Until the day that they accused him to be peeping at Somi on the ladies' room.

It was her who saw him last, and it was when Samuel was waiting for Somi at where they usually meet. The abandoned building.

But Somi couldn't show her face after that. Sohye was there instead. She noticed Kim Samuel holding a ring, similar to what Somi always wore.

Samuel noticed her peaking. "What are you doing here?" He asked harshly. For the first time, he spoke to her. So Kim Samuel finally saw her today.

"Somi told me to come here and tell you something." she said quietly closing the door.

"Liar." Samuel accused.

"Then why do I know this place? Nobody comes here but the two of you. She told me that." she said. It made sense but he still don't trust Sohye.

"Somi told me that she can't take back that lie now that your parents already know about it. She'll get in trouble." Sohye lied. "She said you can just admit to it and live with that reputation. After all, you always take the fault for her. It won't affect you because you're already a loser. So she didn't want you to ruin her image. Just be the pervert who peeped on Somi and that way, she might actually think about dating you in secret." she made up a story to make Somi look more awful.

But it doesn't look like he's buying it.

"And about the ring that you both shared. She wanted you to stop wearing it. If someone notices it, she might get dragged down by your filthy reputation." she added.

This time Samuel looked at her again. Nobody knows about that ring but Somi and him.

"Hand it over, I know it's there. Somi wanted it back." Sohye came closer but Samuel raised his hand that's wearing it.

"She doesn't like you. She doesn't like sharing anything with you. You embarrass her. She only meets you here because she's afraid that you might come up to her in public and people will know that she hangs with you. She told me that it was a mistake being close to you. She only became friends with you because beside you, she doesn't look like a loser. But now that she's famous, she doesn't need to be beside a loser to look much better."

"I don't believe you!" Samuel ran away home and his parents were already there packing bags.

"I have never been embarrassed my entire life. How could you Kim Samuel!" she yelled at him. "You have a sister Kim Samuel." then she began to cry.

"We're going back to the States." she yelled, grabbing Samuel's hands.

"No!" Samuel disagreed.

"Well you can't keep living here and continue making bad decisions and make us look bad. We don't teach you wrong stuff Samuel. How did you even become like this?" she asked.

"Just take me to Jaewon hyung in Yongin, grandfather wants someone to take care of the old place. Maybe I can help. Just let me live in Korea please." he begged.

"Hurry then! We don't have time. Before people confirm us what you did. Oh that poor girl. Her parents are furious Samuel. Promise me to forget about her. This is where liking girls would take you." she scolded and it continued it the the car as they drive to Yongin to drop him there.

Samuel took off his ring and placed it on his necklace like a pendant to hide it. But he promised himself to never lose it no matter what. Someday he will ask Somi what really happened. But for now he wanted to disappear and think about what Sohye told her.

He always take the fault for Somi. That's how they see him. A loser so desperate for Somi. Loser! Derperate for Somi.

A person who doesn't have self preservation.

The next day, everybody woke up early to get to school extra early for the distribution of banners to cheer their basketball team.

"Good Morning guys." Donghyun greeted with a smile even though everybody was flinching when they saw the scratches on his left hand from the accident. He even has minor abrasions on the left side of his face.

What a waste of handsome face. Youngmin thought glancing away.

"You didn't have to go to school right after an accident you know." Somi suggested.

Somi slept here with Jin-ye because it was really late and dangerous to go home last night.

"I wish I had the accident so someone would tell me that." Woojin whined.

Last night while everybody's in panic when they saw Donghyun bathed in his own blood, Woojin ate the chocolate cake. It's not like it's a scary thing to be scratched. Compared to Donghyun's previous accidents, this was the less alarming one.

One time he hit his head so hard that he has a temporary memory loss. Woojin enjoyed that one. He told Donghyun that he's older and had a three-day Yaja time.

"Don't joke about accidents. Be careful what you wish for." Seongwoo told the kid.

"It's always been an awkward silence when he speaks because he's no fun." Jihoon narrated making them stare at him with irritated expressions.

"Is he going to face his parents like this?" Kwon Hyeop asked.

"Right, I'm meeting with my parents." Jihoon smiled in excitement.

"Really? I wanna meet them too. I've never seen parents abandon their child completely and not care where he lives and who his with." Daniel said making Seongwoo elbow his stomach to make him stop. Daniel winced in pain, holding his stomach.

"I am not abandoned. They need to work abroad to support me." Jihoon defended his parents' actions.

"Wow! Support an only child. If they worked there since you were young, aren't they filthy rich by now to support you to law school and there other courses?" Daniel question earning him another elbow on the stomach.

"What's important is, they're coming home to see the man that you've become." Jin-ye cheered him up.

Jin-ye's like a real big sister to him when Jihoon lived with them. Yes, Jihoon was left with them, and it's the reason why Jihoon and Baejin are close and why Baejin was the only cousin who know Jihoon well.

"We better go to school." Seongwoo told everybody before Daniel says something stupid again. This guy is really insensitive and careless to say those words.

In school, Mr. Nakamoto distributed banners for the basketball game.

They were gathered inside the gym together with the other students of Seoul High. The basketball team was already there warming up except for Seonho.

He got his doctor to talk to the principal earlier.

"Are we supposed to watch this whole thing?" Sohye asked, noticing how Jihoon was looking at her in a suspecting way. It was weird, Jihoon never stare at her like that ever.

He only looked away when Baejin gave him a horn to use it for cheering. Jihoon tested it at Samuel's ears since he fell asleep occupying five seats. Both Daniel and Hyeop clapped at Jihoon's work not because Samuel woke up, but be cause he didn't budge, almost like he's not really sleeping but he's just trying to ignore them.

"Move please." This relentless person pushed her that she was forced to sit down with the impact.

She frowned, ready to scream at this careless person when he jumped like a ninja towards Jihoon, dancing thing weird dance. He's obviously not wearing a Seoul High uniform.

"I'm cheering for Guanlin." he muttered to Jihoon before they danced the same weird dance he was doing earlier. She glanced at the logo on his uniform and he was from Brand New Academy. No wonder he acts like a barbarian. She peaked on the name plate,

Park Woojin.

And then here comes some boys wearing Yuehua Academy uniforms sitting beside them again. No doubt, these boys have so many friends.

Sohye settled on her seat and just right to see the game. If they're going to be stuck here, she wants to at least watch the game properly.

Just when she thought her life was just peaceful, here comes Somi walking towards Samuel and he sat up as if he was never asleep and just been saving seats.

Behind Somi was Pinky Yoojung, Chungha and Sejeong. Sejeong, she with Somi today. What if she tells her about her little secret why she hates Somi?

Is Sejeong that kind of person?

"I didn't know Sejeong was joining us." Samuel muttered before giving up his own seat for another one, then pushed Jihoon to move to the next seat that he's been saving for Woojin. Both evil sausage guys glared at him in disgust moving towards the vacant seats behind Sohye.

"Oooooh! Popcorn!" Park Woojin squealed before jumping, landing in front of Sohye then bought a popcorn. As soon as he got the popcorn, he turned around spilling some cheese powder on Sohye's hair.

"Ooops! Sorry about that." Woojin apologized dusting the cheese powder off her hair but after he was finished, Sohye looked like she just got out of bed the used her hair to sweep the floor.

"Much much better." Woojin said before going back beside Jihoon, whispering something in his ears before they both giggled.

Game started and they all cheered on Mark Lee's lead. It was a pretty tight game until Seonho lost his contact lenses again.

Hunus Academy was now on the lead at the second half with the score of 37 while Seoul High has 33 points.

"Go Sanggyun!" Taedong cheered all of a sudden, making the Principal glare at him. He will definitely give this kid a punishment for cheering the other team.

To his anger, he stood up and went to Mr. Nakamoto who's busily discussing a plan while Seonho's mother fetched for another pair of contact lenses.

"Get Seonho out there!" he told Mr. Nakamoto but she was too focused at the game plan to actually listen.

"Yuta Nakamoto! I said get Yoo Seonho out there or I'll fire you." He threatened.

Everybody from that side of the court heard it. Who can argue, he has the authority for that. Yuta turned slowly taking his time though the time out was about to end.

"It won't fucking hurt to wait for his contact lenses for 15 minutes old man. Guanlin's still there, and we're only four points behind. Now I suggest you to go back to your seat and chew your nails!" Yuta pointed at the principal.

"After this game, you're fucking fired Nakamoto Yuta and you can go back to Kyoto." The principal told him, smirking in victory.

Yuta turned to him again with a creepy smile. "First of all, I'm from Osaka, and lastly, I am the last guy you want to threaten with fire." he threatened back and didn't let Seonho play the game for a while.

"Mr. Nakamoto is really scary. He can even curse at the Principal." Youngmin whispered at Hansol who was beside him eating popcorn in nervousness.

His thought were, 'they had the game if only Seonho didn't lose his contact lense.' instead of really listening to Youngmin. Curse words and Yuta are not really new. Actually, there's a big possibility that he was a curse word on his past life because every time he does something, people curse. As a matter a fact, his mother curses when she call his full name.

"I'm thirsty!" Jihoon groaned, reaching for Seongwoo's bag since he left earlier to look for Donghan, in case he decided to join the fun.

His seat was vacant, and since Woojin was enjoying on watching him suffer, he decided to not help him get Seongwoo's bag. Seongwoo packed all the bottled water they have left on the fridge this morning just in case the kids decide to buy an over priced bottled water.

Jihoon stretched his hands since he was lazy to stand up, and then finally got the bag. "Want some?" he offered the ladies before he suddenly paused to stare at Yoojung.

He wanted to examine if Eunki was telling the truth. Was Sohye really jealous of her because she was kind?

"J-Jihoon, what are you staring at?" Yoojung carefully tucked her hair behind her ears before smiling shyly.

The other girls smiled at her weirdly too but he threw them Seongwoo's bag, and was caught by Yoojung. Jihoon turned towards Woojin trying to uncap his water but his hands were to soft that it hurt everytime he twisted the cap.

Hyeop usually does these things for him but now he's flirting with Doyeon. What are they even whispering and giggling about. It's either Hyeop was trying to whisper pick up lines in his heavy satoori or Doyeon enjoys reforming school stories, nobody knows for sure.

"Can you open it for me?" Jihoon asked Woojin instead, but when his evil sausage twin agreed, he didn't really thought he would open it with his teeth.

Jihoon stepped aside watching Woojin bite the cap as if he's beheading the bottled water in horror. It should look like a hungry wold eating his prey, good thing his snaggletooth made it a cute murder.

"There you go." Woojin handed it to him. But there's no way he's drinking from this bottle. There's even a bite mark on the cap.

He grabbed the bag from Yoojung and took another bottle. It would be rude to ask the girls so his last resort was Samuel who's asleep again. Was he even asleep?

He shook him harshly the first time to not waste time but he's not waking up. What if he's just rude as fuck, pretending to be asleep right now? Jihoon did suspect his record of longest time asleep. Something was fishy about it.

They had a party that day. Obviously Samuel avoided the preparation. Buying food and cooking. And then avoided the sun completely but the party was loud. Loud voices and loud music. Even the neighbors who were asleep woke up and knocked scolding them to keep it down. How is it possible that he didn't woke up that day?

And then the next morning, he's still peacefully sleeping while they were cleaning up and making the house sparkle as if the party didn't happen at all. He woke up the next day after that.

He avoided everything from preparation, actual party, cleaning up the mess and the hangover attitude.

"Samuel, I know you're fucking awake. Just open it and you can play dead again." he tried for the last time but there's nothing.

Is he even breathing?

"I'll open it for you." Yoojung offered and opened the bottle for him. She was so strong that Jihoon wanted to compliment her but he was too focused on observing her like a lab rat.

So she is nice. That detail is confirmed for sure.

"Wow! These are hard to open." Somi said while attempting to open her bottle.

Jihoon nodded in agreement before Samuel suddenly woke up coincidentally and knew right away that Somi needed help with her bottle. He didn't even stretch his arms or scratch his head. And then went back to sleep after helping her.

Fishy.

Jihoon let it go. After all, they're cousins. Family! He knew that Samuel's lazy and he's got it bad when it comes to Somi.

"Seonho! Get in there!" she principal yelled, getting everybody's attention. Even Seonho was startled. He was horrified. Nobody's yelled at him that loud before. He does chores, he takes care of his younger sibling, studies hard, practice hard and excuse himself when he's upset to not disappoint anyone. Why was he being yelled at? He wondered.

Right! He made a mistake and lost his contact lense. He was too careless and couldn't even use eye drops to keep it moist. Stupid! He wanted to slap himself across the face right now.

"Useless fucker! You're fucking useless! You call yourself a basketball player? You're nothing! You're fucking nothing." the Principal insulted.

Even Mr. Nakamoto was plotting the Principal's murder right now for being harsh at the kid. "What's useless is the person who can only talk the talk." he argued.

"And that's Seonho. He's not even doing anything." the principal gestured at him but Seonho's already gone from his seat. He asked to substitute Wontak and finally got into the court. He's a little dizzy with his poor eyesight but he knew what he has to do once he got the ball. He memorized the basketball like the alphabet and the multiplication table. It'll be as easy as spelling and a math problem.

"This is getting good now! Look! Guanlin and Seonho are the twin towers." Jihoon pointed at the court but only Woojin was listening. Samuel was still happy playing dead. "Seonho's back at the court. WITHOUT HIS CONTACT LENSES." He announced but Samuel's not interested. How can he sleep when everybody is cheering.

Seonho was doing great until Guanlin asked him to pass him the ball. Seonho threw it really strong that it flew towards the audience. It travelled to the speed of light at the direction of Somi's face but Samuel easily got rid of it, hitting the ball back to the court.

People thought it was cool and sweet that he saved her but Jihoon was hissing. He couldn't believe that he again tried to pretend to be asleep after doing that. Ten minutes ago while he was excited that Seonho was back in the game, he was asleep. And then when the accident happened. He suddenly saves Somi as if he knew what's happening.

The sleeping was an act all this time.
