"It happened during vacation, when I was at the playground. I'm at the swing to be specific. I saw a child who looks like he's having the scariest day of his life. And I saw my cousin Dudley." he said in a serious face.

Since none of them except Hyeop was a fan of Harry Potter, none of them get him. They're all trying to remember a Dudley. But no, nobody comes in mind.

"Then the clouds darkened. It's like a hurricane was approaching. So me and my cousin ran towards a tunnel, but it was too late. The Dementors followed us, there's two of them who attacked us, one on each end." Daniel shook his head, holding his breath and laughter. All of them looked serious except Seonho and Hyeop.

"Dementors? What the fuck is he saying again?" Seongwoo faced Jinyoung.

"Dementors. It sounds like an occupation." Jinyoung responded.

Hyeop turned around with a smile. It was indeed an occupation. They guard Azkaban and search for those who managed to escape the prison.

"They were sucking the soul of my cousin-Dudley." he repeated the name making them frown once again. Who's this cousin he's talking about?

"I had no other choice but take out my wand and perform the Partonus charm in front of a muggle." he said making Seonho clap his hands.

"Order of the Phoenix?" he asked, and Daniel raised his hands for a high five, but it was Hyeop who received it, glaring at Seonho.

"Order what?" Jihoon asked in confusion. It's like Daniel and him didn't live at the same planet until now.

"Did someone order chicken?" a delivery guy asked, holding six boxes of marinated chicken.

"That must be the Phoenix, I guess." Seongwoo tried to joke. And Daniel slapped his ass several times before whispering.

"Brilliant." then came to the delivery guy. "You accept cards, right?" he asked.

"Yes." he said. Daniel swiped this black card and Seongwoo knew right away what that was. It was his card.

"Thanks for the treat Daniel." Seonho said, while eating the chicken without permission.

"Actually, thank Seongwoo." Daniel said, tossing the card to Seongwoo.

He shook his head in disapproval. Now he's considering putting a lock on his wallet.

"Thank you Seongwoo." they all said in unison.

"You guys are cool. I can already see how Seoul High would be different with you guys around." Seonho said with a chunk of chicken inside his mouth.

"Don't talk when your mouth is full!" Guanlin told him, embarrassed of Seonho.

Just like that, Daniel avoided opening up and irritating questions.

...

With the boys already enrolled they have no other problem other than Jihoon's choice of clothes.

"You know what, this shirt doesn't fit me anymore." Seongwoo raised a black shirt. "And oh! Jihoon, it looks like it would fit you perfectly." he said, throwing it to Jihoon.

Jihoon gave him a threatening look, too a good look at the shirt. It doesn't look so bad. Then he smirked, making Seongwoo swallow a lump. "The tag is still on. You just bought this." Jihoon said, slapping it on Songwoo's face.

"Nice try. I told you, we should just burn his wardrobe." Daniel said, terrifying Jihoon, because he knew that Daniel can do it.

"But hyung! There's nothing wrong with pink. Your hair is pink." Jihoon said, pointing at Daniel's hair.

"Nothing's wrong with pink." Daniel agreed, making Jihoon nod with a smile. "If you don't pair the color green with it!" he said grabbing Jihoon's hoodie.

"Help me! Help me!" Jihoon yelped, waking up Samuel who just woke up at 3PM. If nobody made a noise, he would've slept the whole day. Or maybe he would've slept all summer.

"Hyung! Stop it! Color preference depends on the person!" He said, just to shut them up, but the truth is, Jihoon looks like an icing in his eyes.

Daniel had no other choice but let him go.

"Leave him alone from now on or I'll burn your wardrobe." Samuel declared. Jihoon gave him a bro hug, only making Jinyoung jealous. Jihoon's his closest cousin, he can't be close with anybody else.

Seongwoo raised his hands. It's the very first time that Samuel made a threat. He's got to be serious.

"Jihoon would look more attractive if he wears black anyway. It's better if he looks like a candy cane." Jinyoung cut off, to defend Jihoon but it sounded offensive. Fist he thought he's dressing up as a carrot, and now, he think he looks like a candy cane.

Sometimes, Jihoon couldn't guess if Jinyoung was really on his side or the other way around.

"As much as we want to judge Jihoon's fashion, you guys need to move to the dormitories." Somi announced. "If you want to get used to your beds, and sleep comfortably, you guys should sleep there for a week before school starts." she added.

They all glanced at Samuel. "Samuel stays here, we'd be happy if he has a hard time sleeping." Seongwoo said.

Samuel glanced at Jihoon, hoping he would defend him after what he did for him. But no. Jihoon gone to where Jinyoung was, bowing his head in shame.

"Sorry Samuel but you know it's true. Yesterday you even fell asleep on the slide, while we're eating chicken. I don't think it's still healthy. I'm just concerned." Jihoon defended his actions.

"Don't you want to wake up early to see Somi? Don't you plan to go out? Just the two of you?" Daniel asked.

Samuel glanced at Somi, then smirked. "I would, but she might get embarrassed. She's with Samuel the freak." he said before yawning and stratching, before he threw himself on the couch just to sleep again.

Whoever that is, he's not Kim Samuel. Somi thought, but she can't blame him. Whoever made him into that, it was her.

If there's anything else she can do besides apologize, she would.

"We still need to buy rice cake for our neighbors." Jinyoung reminded, just in case they're all used to living like wild animals.

"We should get going. Let's leave Samuel, besides I can treat you better than him." Youngmin smiled.

That smile. Why does he look like he's someone you can trust?

Maybe because he's proven to be responsible back on their house.

By just hearing that, Samuel ran towards the sink to wash his face and brush his teeth. "I'm ready!" he said, changing his shirt.

He's ready to go out. But everybody just laughed at him before doing their eight step beauty regimen.

"Dude, you can be fucking flash if you want to." Hyeop complimented.

Instead of getting angry, Samuel stared at Hyeop's scar. It's big and obvious, but Hyeop didn't mind to cover it with make up.

"Does it still hurt?" Samuel asked, lowering his voice, contemplating whether to wait for an answer or ask Hyeop to forget about it. It might seem offensive.

But to Hyeop, it's not.

"Nahhh! It didn't hurt to start with. Yesterday I heard a girl say that I'm handsome if it weren't for the scar." he said smiling.

Samuel didn't get it. Hyeop needs to feel regret on what he did after hearing that but instead he looks happy.

"If you didn't do it, they would've said you're handsome. Not that you're handsome without the scar." Somi joined.

Both Samuel and Hyeop looked at her with judging eyes. She's not even invited into this conversation, and yet she's sharing her opinion. Not that that wasn't what Samuel wanted to say.

Hyeop faced her, holding her shoulders, but not aggressively. "You're wrong. Now, they say I'm handsome. Before, they used to say 'Ahh, the younger one is not as handsome as the older. The younger one is not as tall, not as pale." Hyeop said imitating a crazy ahjumma tone, almost making Samuel and Somi laugh.

But this is serious.

"Now I'm acknowledged as handsome, but without the scar." Hyeop chuckled.

"But you're handsome with or without the scar, with and without your brother. Maybe you're a little sarcastic and mean and you lie way too much. But you're handsome." Somi said making all the cousins stare at her, even Daehwi.

"I accept!" Hyeop said pulling Somi near him. "Samuel, sorry but you're girlfriend likes me, and I like people who like me. I knew this love will be hard, but we're going to get through it no matter what hardship we face." he said in one breath, before pushing Somi towards Samuel, then laughing his ass off.

He's confusing. More confusing than a girl with her period.

He wiped his fake tears, then forced himself to stop laughing. "You're better liar than I am. I almost believed you. Except, I have a mirror." he said lifting a mineral cushion, showing the mirror. "And mirror mirror on my hands says I'm the ugliest shit in the planet." he said before closing it bitterly.

The drama was on point, except everybody wondered why he has a mineral cushion?

"Don't dare give me that bullshit!" for the very first time, they heard Somi curse. "You have a mirror, but I have eyes. Have you seen yourself in person? Have you?" she asked.

Hyeop couldn't answer.

The other guys were silenced too.

"No! You haven't see yourself in person. You've based your self worth through some crazy ahjummas' opinion. Have you seen yourself from my angle? No? Then I'll tell you." she said taking the full body mirror, facing it to Hyeop.

He glanced and saw his most vulnerable state. Black cap, black shirt, dark washed jeans and a vans. His eyes teary, and that scar that's been familiar to him now.

"I've only known you for four weeks and I can say that the Kwon Hyeop that I know is hurt and insecure, but innocent and nice. You lie to create a better story. That's what I noticed with you all. Even you Daehwi." Somi said.

"But guys, you maybe violent, lazy, mysterious, stubborn, rebel, perfectionist and insecure. Consumed by self-hate and sadness. The truth is, we all lie to cover up the truth that destroys us in the core. And sometimes, our sweetest smile can't hide it!" she said, now she's not sure if she's telling them this or herself.

"Daniel, it'll be okay to release it at some point. Maybe then, you won't stay up all night skating to get it off your mind. Because you'll only end up thinking about it more." she said but Daniel smiled. As usual, it didn't look forced.

"Sam." her voice quivered. "Do they even know the whole story of how I made you drop out? Or were you trying to avoid it and forget it for a while as you sleep. That's why now that I'm here in front of you, you can't look at me and wanted to sleep more?" she asked, but she didn't answer.

All of them had their heads bowed down, thinking about it.

"Hyeop. I know you lie to avoid hurting anyone or watch people suffer from the ugly truth, because people hurt you. They treated you so wrong. Even if it doesn't make sense to you now, I still think you're handsome, and not your brother and a scar can take that away from you. Same goes to any of you." she said before hugging Kwon Hyeop.

Samuel didn't go against it. Because if he's not a guy, and this person's cousin, he would hug him tightly too. And it was the nicest gesture Hyeop has ever received.

Finally he could breathe.

"Whatever happens Somi, I'm with you. I'm with you from the start." he said which doesn't make any sense at all.

"Now, we need to buy that fucking rice cake. I wanna walk around and show off my handsome face." Hyeop said still not letting go of Somi.

...

After purchasing a big box of rice cake. They went straight at the dormitory. Knocking at the door, hoping they would open up.

😂

The guy who answered the door was a very familiar face to Somi and Daehwi. The guy who's always reviewing at the library at the same time they always do.

"Hey! How are you?" he greeted Somi and Daehwi.

"We're your new neighbors." Hyeop greeted, showing the box of rice cake.

"We live in front of your room." he added pointing at their door just across the hallway.

"Come in." The tall guys with a strange accent invited them in.

There's a lot of handsome guys inside. They're all holding a book. Somehow, Youngmin missed his bookshelf.

"They're our new neighbors." He said.

"Huang Justin imnida!" the cute guy instantly stood up to introduce himself.

"Ahn Hyungseob imnida!" this guy with a clueless expression greeted.

"Lee Euiwoong imnida!" this handsome guy with an attractive greeted.

"Zhu Zhengting imnida. Call me Jung Jung for short." at last, the tall guy introduced himself.

He's been a big part of Somi's life but never knew his name. Now the mystery is over.

The cousins introduced themselves too, together with Somi and Daehwi.

Jungjung took out a round table for all of them to eat rice cakes together.

They couldn't help but notice Ahn Hyungseob staring at Youngmin. Euiwoong even pushed Hyungseob's head down as if he's a kid being taught about manners.

"Sorry, he reads the books but forget to apply what he learned in real life." Euiwoong embarrassingly said.

"Nahh, I wouldn't blame him. I never learn anything about manners too. They just ask me to memorize terminologies and write them down on a paper." Youngmin joked.

Hyungseob stole a glance once again. "Lim Youngmin?" he asked, then bit his lips. "It can't be. Last time I saw you, you don't have any piercings and you were properly dressed." he said making Youngmin check what he's wearing right now.

It was a Vneck shirt topped with a plaid red shirt.

"I do have a piercing before, but don't wear earrings on contests, and I was properly dressed because I'm wearing a uniform." he said. "And I do remember you. You came second." Youngmin wiggled his brows, annoying the hell out of Hyungseob.

"And you transferred in?" Hyungseob asked, wishing he's not transferring in Yuehua Academy.

"Seoul High." Youngmin replied.

"You have friends?" Daniel asked asked Youngmin.

"We're not friends." Hyungseob and Youngmin said it in unison.

"That's what Taewoong and I always tell people." Daniel mocked.

Youngmin and Hyungseob made eye contact, then shrugged.

"Sorry to interrupt, but I just want to compliment Justin. He's really cute." Seongwoo said, pinching Justin's cheek.

"Cute my ass." Euiwoong said before brushing Justin's hair up. "He's dangerous. Look at him." he said as Justin fixed his bangs.

"It's you who's dangerous." Justin accused. "I'm being quiet here and you're being rude." he said before taking trash from the table, standing up, he met Somi's eyes. He raised his brow and smiled making Somi nervous all of a sudden.

Minutes earlier, he's like a cute guy that can't look matured and would be hard to look masculine. But just now, he was very different.

"You believe right?" Euiwoong told her as their gaze followed Justin who's chuckling.

"Yah! Jeon Somi! What are you looking at?" Samuel whispered in warning.

"N-nothing." she laughed nervously but still glanced at Justin.

And he winked again.

"See! That's what I'm saying." Euiwoong told Somi.

At least Somi can understand Euiwoong while all if them believe that Justin's an angel.

When Justin joined them again, he put his index finger to his lips, gesturing Somi to keep quiet or keep it a secret.

"That's how he manipulates girls at our school." Euiwoong whispered, making Justin glare at him.

"So!" Daniel cut off. "How about you Jung Jung, how do you manipulate girls?" he asked to change the topic.

Jung Jung laughed at him. "Well, first of all, I don't manipulate girls. Only Justin does that. We're not all merciless here." he directed those words to Justin.

"But he does like this senior from Seoul High. Maybe you can help him..." Justin tried to speak but Jung Jung covered his mouth.

"Forget that." Jung Jung said.

"Nobody stopped Euiwoong when he told information about me, and I can't talk about you? That's fucked." Justin cursed.

Euiwoong was right, they believe him now. Justin was two faced.

"Yours needs warning to all the girls out there. Mine is a secret. Jerk!" Jung Jung spat.

"Better to be a jerk that shows it. Whoever still comes near means they really like me even though I'm a jerk. How about you? You need to admit the truth and live with it rather than confusing yourself." Justin said.

Whatever it is that Jung Jung is hiding, they don't want to hear it unless it's him who wanted to tell the tale.

After the celebration, Seongwoo promised that next time, he will invite them for soju and chicken. They left early since the Yuehua guys looked like they're studying for something. Probably advance summer school.

For now, they need to settle down on their own room. While everybody's fixing things. Sticking some pictures and posters of football players, and stuff. Daniel pulled Somi inside the bathroom, on the bathtub, closing the shower curtains.

"What are we doing here?" Somi asked him but Daniel keeps glancing at the door, though he locked it.

"Daniel." She called, catching his attention.

"Samuel never really told us the whole story why he dropped out, and that story he did tell. For me, he's stronger to give up with just being told to drop out." Daniel said.

"I'm sorry but that's for Samuel to tell." Somi apologized.

"But this revenge thing on Sohye. I can't quite figure out whether she deserved it or not." Daniel said.

Somi didn't know what to do. She wanted a revenge on Sohye, but they can't do it without Daniel.

"We... s-set him up." Somi was ashamed to admit before swallowing a lump.

"It was I who..."

"That's enough." Daniel hushed her. "You're a part of it, done! I don't want to hear it from you." Daniel looked devastated.

Hearing that Samuel was set up, it only means he really trusted this girl, but he was set up.

But why does he keep on trying to save her?

"Somi. Look at me." Daniel said raising her chin to see her already light pink cheeks. "You knew you were wrong. You apologized. You were sincerely sorry. You still regret it. I saw it. Remember Somi, you haven't seen yourself from my view." Daniel said before opening the shower curtains.

But then he thought of something.

"By the way Somi, you read right through me. Everybody only saw my smile, it was you who sensed that behind the lovely fence, the front yard was a disaster." He admitted before going out.

Should she be flattered?

Or feel sorry that it was true, that behind that smile, there's something bothering him.

She came out after few seconds and nobody noticed. Right now, glancing at the cousins, she couldn't look at them the same way anymore.

"Tonight! Daehwi and Somi should sleep here too." Jihoon announced. "Sorry I have abandonment issues." he joked, and they all laughed.

Nobody knows for sure, whom he's trying to call out on that one.

"Yeah, it won't be the same without you guys." Hyeop smiled at Somi. And this time, he's honest.

"Somi! Here! Sit with me. We're watching a film." Samuel waved.

"Which film?" Somi asked.

"A Bug's Life." Samuel said excitedly. It was
