"𝖄𝖔𝖚 still here?" Colin was surprised. He'd waken up alone and gone on to shower and begun his morning routine. He didn't expect to come downstairs to see that Jill was still in the house.

She smiled, "I made you something."

He didn't smell any food. He came further down the stairs and walked towards the crimson brown woman who was standing in the kitchen wearing an oversized SZA jersey and biker shorts with her fresh extra small knee length bohemian knotless braids hanging below them. Her hands were behind her back, holding something.

She brought her hands to the front of her, revealing a glass tumbler. It was a wine colored one, just like the rest of the glasses in Cole's cabinet. In the glass was a cold tea, a concoction she'd put together for both her and Cole to drink this morning.

Unbeknownst to Cole, she was awakened by him getting out of the bed. When he called his brother, she listened to everything and knew that her moseying around wasn't gonna get her anywhere if she let Cole get close to Lonnie again.

All the time, she'd known he still had feelings for this man and had done everything she could to keep him stagnant in his decision on who to choose. She'd done everything she could except magic. She had always said she'd never use magic on a lover— but Cole was more than a lover. Cole is her love.

"I made it when I got up this morning. I wanted it to be chilled by the time you were up."

He smiled, "That's so sweet." He kissed her forehead and looked down at her who was looking up at him with a smile of her own. "what's in it?"

"You always ask that." She frowned, moving about the kitchen.

"I'm just asking this time. I don't think you're trying to put roots on me— this time." He laughed, taking a sip from the glass. "Mmm." He hummed, "What is in this for real? This shit good."

She shrugged, "Apples, rose petals, a few herbs. I haven't tasted it." She informed him, "You sure you like it?"

"I love it." He drank some more, "I love you too."

She cheesed, "I love you more, Colin."
