The last of everything you could have possibly remembered from the time of the fall was hearing the sound of your bones cracking. Sadly due to the curse, you could not feel pain as a normal human would have.
"Don't tell me they are dead already?" Questioned a feminine voice.
Your mind was awake enough to hear, it was only a matter of time for your eyes to open up allowing for you to see what was actually going on.
"Impressive for such a petite human to have survived such a fall. No major injuries to have sustained either." A male voice had said feeling their hands ghosting over the strands of loose hair on your face.
The open-world turned gray when opening your eyes, due to the amount of built-up dust having accumulated over what appeared to be centuries just from looking at the architecture on the walls.
"I must have hit my head harder than possible.." You muttered to yourself squinting your eyes from the light in the room unaware yet of the three pairs of eyes watching as you sat up.
A soft sigh escaped from you as you slowly stood up holding out your arms to steady yourself even though you were pretty sure that you looked like a drunkard from how your feet crossed over one another.
Your mind blanked out the first five seconds when losing your balance feeling as gravity pulled your body back. The softness of hands supporting your lower back and back of your head could be felt causing your consciousness to come back.
"Seems like someone is not quite awake" You could hear the chuckle feeling the rumble as their hands were gentle and massaged your head as if to help you break out of your dizzy state.
While your vision has deteriorated over the past few years you could still make out the shape of a person's face above you and the shine of their golden hair even with the limited extent of light.
Thinking back to the angel statues the sisters had back at the orphanage is what came to your mind at first just from the beauty you could be seeing and since remembering the sisters preaching that angels were the most beautiful of creatures.
"..Am I dead?" You questioned with a soft voice, reaching a hand up as if thinking you could feel their warmth as they looked down upon you.
"Great they've lost their mind" an exasperated sigh was heard before the sound of a slap followed and scolding "Belmont!"
"To think I would have died from a fall is daft" You chuckled closing your eyes once more only to be roughly pulled up and shoved to your feet startling you.
"You are not dying. If I were then there wouldn't be any heartbeat" The man with hair of gold said dusting himself off as he returned to what seemed like a coffin.
Something in your mind suddenly clicked. Your feet had become light when taking your surroundings into more careful consideration. Your mind turned when seeing as their hand was brushed away revealing their lips to be parted revealing fangs.
"You're a vampire!" You shouted snapping your fingers creating a red spark as the symbols on your arm illuminated making a spell circle from under your feet.
"Stop, he is not Dracula!" A woman in blue robes shouted at you getting your attention to look at the vampire more closely. Sure they had the fangs as vampires were said to have, but the way this one had acted towards you made you curious.
"I already figured that," Said a man sarcastically as they groaned getting up from kneeling on the floor.
"If you are feeling better then we can be on our way." The vampire said, situating their sword from their coffin before stepping down.
You didn't say anything other than glance at their coffin feeling embarrassed by how you acted before following.
