Death: When a GemstalWing begins to die, their entire body becomes a statue made of crystals, which can be broken down and used for other matters that require crystals, but will often be embedded into cavern walls if the dragon was significant enough to the tribe and/or it's history.
Diet: Mostly carnivorous. Their diet consists of meat, meat and more meat. Anything that wanders into their territory and is edible, they'll hunt it, cook it with their fire and eat it. Due to the lack of prey, however, which is decreasing with every passing year, this tribe resorts to trading things for exotic meats that exist in other lands and continents, usually being leopard or howler monkey from their (no longer) allied tribe, the RainWings. The Royals tend to eat the most, then the Warriors and so on down the rankings. Hybrids usually get the least amount of food if they stay in the tribe due to the tribe's views on hybrids being low. The tribe used to be omnivorous, but a harsh Winter struck their territory for moons and it hasn't changed, so they've just resorted to being carnivorous.
Eggs: The eggs are see-through, though made of tough crystal material, which means you can see the growing and forming dragonet inside, as well as the veins and whatnot, all the while its protected well from any potential harm. Only a GemstalWing could crack one of the tribes eggs. It's impossible for another tribe to do so without GemstalWing magic.
Hatchlings: Dragonets may not look like their parents. While it is common for the Dragonet to have a colored gem that's a mix of their parents, it's also fairly common to see a Dragonet with a gemstone that looks nothing like their parents. This is completely normal and nobody ever pays mind to it.
