Cassidy's POV:

The day has passed where me and my sisters had a great time dancing all day long 

Right now, it was night time where we had already gotten dressed in our long white silk nightgowns    

Where Edeline walked towards her bed, holding the croquet equipment before setting them down between hers and Delia's bed.

Delia looked at her twin who was holding a racquet "Why use the closet when the floor is closer?" Delia states  

"Exactly!" Edeline agrees before she looks at Genevieve and me, who are sitting in our beds looking at the shoes. 

"Genevieve, are they the shoes you like?" Edeline starts, clasping her hands 

Where it got her attention 

Fallon decided to join in the conversation "Or the cobbler who made them?" Fallon teased 

Before the three girls laughed at Genevieve's crush on Derrek 

"What are you talking about?" Genevieve asked them, holding her shoes 

Fallon walked back into her bed "Derek is so cute!" Fallon exclaimed, sitting down 

"If you say so, Fallon." Genevieve shrugged 

Before Ashlynn joined in the conversation, earning Genevieve's  attention "Maybe the problem is he's not a prince." Ashlynn assumed as Blair walked to her bed 

"I don't care if he's a prince, a king, or an emperor! The truth is..." Genevieve didnt cared about Derrek's social position, starting  

"...you are head over heels!" Fallon leaned forward, resting her head on hand. 

"Don't be ridiculous." Genevieve told Fallon "Besides, he never notices me." She looked down  "If I were, paying attention, which I'm not." She denied 

"Genevieve's got it bad!" Ashlynn teased causing us to laugh again

Before Fallon looks at me with a knowing smile 

"And what about you Cassidy?" Fallon starts, earning my attention 

"What are you talking about Fallon?" I asked 

"She means is that a certain chef in heels in love with you~" Edeline clarified with a knowing smile 

I wasn't expecting to hear that. 

"No, you're wrong Fallon... he does-doesnt have... any feelings for me....." I looked down 

Courtney looked at me "Cassidy, we all noticed that his eyes lit up when you look at him." Courtney says when I looked at everyone including Genevieve giving me a nod

"And you too have feelings for him," Delia says before they share a knowning smile 

"It's just.. he's kind, shy.... he creates the most delicious foods...." I smiled, looking at my flower  

"Oooh~ Cassidy's got it bad too..." Edeline teases causing everyone to laughed  

While Janessa walked to her bug collection with Thomas in her hands "Good night, Thomas!" She puts Thomas in his box 

"Richard." She opened Richard's box, 

And then goes to Harold's box, seeing that the said box is empty.  "Where's Harold?!" She gasped, looking at us 

Ashlynn sit up "What is he, a spider?!" Ashlynn questions 

"A scorpion?!" Blair assumed, panicking 

"A snake?!" My twin Courtney panicked  

"Please dont let it be either of those three!" I panicked 

We screamed where Janessa walked to one of the beds, where Harold is hiding under the cover while Ashlynn, Delia, Edeline, Courtney, me, Blair, and Fallon are screaming

Janessa giggles at our panicking  "No." She answered, grabbing Harold in her hands "A caterpillar." Janessa clarified 

Ashlynn and Blair sighed in relieved that it was just harmless insect 

Before Janessa walked to her chest in front of her bed, putting Harold in his box

We get under our covers and begin falling asleep where tomorrow we'll be meeting Papa's visitor 

The Next Morning:

It was the next day where we gotten up and got dressed for meeting Papa's vistor 

Once we gotten dressed, we exited our bedroom headed to the dining room to eat our breakfast 

Where Papa told us that his visitor was his cousin, Duchess Rowena, therefore making us our aunt, our cousin once removed  

After eating our breakfast Genevieve told us that she needed to do something before meeting the Duchess 

As we walked to the throne room where we each had gotten in line in oldest to youngest order  

We waited for a few minutes where me and Courtney has begun reading, where a man has informed Papa that Duchess Rowena has arrived where Papa was going to greet her before she was meeting us for the first time 

5 minutes later we see Papa and a woman who was dressed in grey and her hair up entered the throne room 

Papa's raised his left hand motioning to Ashlynn 

"Ashlynn. The eldest." Papa introduces 

"Welcome, your grace." Ashlynn bowed down

"Glad to be here, my dear." Rowena told her, her hands clasped 

Then Rowena started slowly walking as Papa motioned his hand to Blair "Blair, the second eldest." Papa introduced 

Rowena looked at Blair bowing down.

When Rowena notices mud on the bottom of Blair's dress "Is that mud on your skirt?" She questioned 

Blair looked down seeing the mud "I was out riding." Blair explained as Ashlynn glances at her 

Papa looked at his cousin before moving on "The eldest twins: Courtney, the older twin." Papa introduces 

But Courtney was still reading her book, when Blair touches Courtney, getting her attention  

She immediadely closed her book "Oh. Hello." Courtney bowed down

"Yes. Hello." Rowena gave a small wave 

Then Papa motioned to me "The younger eldest twin, Cassidy." Papa introduces me 

I was in the middle of reading where Courtney and Delia both touches my shoulders getting my attention 

Where i gasped looking at the Duchess and Papa "Welcome Your Grace. I hope that the trip went smoothly?" I bowed down

"It was fine." Rowena simply said  

"Delia, and Edeline." Papa motioned his hand to the second twins, introducing 

Courtney and I decided to start reading once again with us opening our books once more  

"Your Grace." Delia bowed down as did Edeline, greeting 

"Greetings, your ladyship." Edeline greeted 

"And to you." Rowena said the procedding to walk

"Fallon." Papa introduced, motioned his hand towards her 

Rowena looked at her "Your Grace." Fallon bowed down then she noticed Brutus 

"Can I hold him?" Fallon walked towards the monkey in excitement 

Brutus was scared of Fallon, running to hide behind Rowena 

"No. Don't touch him. He's quite rare." Rowena answered rasing her right hand making Fallon disapointed 

The two proceeded with the introductions "And, um, well, um." Papa begun only to noticed that Genevieve is gone again as Fallon and Hadley shrugged. 

"The younger twins! Hadley and Isla." Papa introduced 

Hadley & Isla looked at Rowena as she continued walking "Welcome, Your Grace." They bowed down in unison, greeted 

Rowena looked down to their height "The pleasure is mine." Rowena said before proceeded to walk 

"And, the triplets! Janessa, Kathleen, and Lacey." Papa intoduces 

"Hi, Your Grace!" Janessa, Kathleen and Lacey bowed down, greeting

Lacey walked up to the Duchess "I picked this for you." Lacey held the rose as her gift 

But the Duchess dismissed Lacey's kind gift "Would that be paint in your hair?" She questions

Causing Lacey to lower the rose, looking at her sister where Janessa and Kathleen check their hair, only for Kathleen to realize that she has paint in her hair

But Lacey was feeling sad that Duchess Rowena has dismissed her gift and the judgement  

Papa walked around "And we're just missing, um, Genevieve." Papa informed her 

When we see the door opening "Right here!" Genevieve says, earning our attentions mainly Papa's and Duchess Rowena's  "Sorry, Papa!" She apologizes, running to her spot in line 

Genevieve got in between Fallon and Hadley "It's nice to see you, Your Grace." She bowed down, greeting her 

Rowena walked towards her "Thank you, Genevieve. Tell me, are you often late?" She questioned 

Genevieve didnt know how to answer her question "Uh, well, I guess. Well, uh, yes. I'm working on it." She stamerred before admitting and reassured her afterwards  

Rowena looked at Papa, who looked at her "Well you called me not a moment too soon." She waved her left arm  "Your, your girls are dreadfully unprepared for royal life." Her right hand motioned to us, informing him   

Papa then looked at us  "I've, um, asked Duchess Rowena to take charge of your upbringing." Papa told us, causing us to be shocked  

"But, Papa, we-" Genevieve walked forward 

"No protests, please." Papa shook his head 

"One day, you'll be responsible for, uh, running the kingdom." Papa told us as me and Courtney lowered our books, glancing at each other 

"You need to be proper princesses. Duchess Rowena will prepare you." Papa decided 

"And it looks like I have my work cut out for me!" Rowena knew how long her teachings going to take where for some reason Genevieve was wary of her
