Layla's Pov

Once introductions were done we went to the dinning room and I was mesmerized by the chandelier as I walked in. But when I sat down I opened my book and started to read, I don't usually read from proper books but the content still intreaged me, even if I wasn't the best at reading I managed to read it just fine. Once I got through the first chapter I was asked a couple questions and I answered them before going back and forth between reading, eating and answering questions.

"Thank you for the food farther, I enjoyed it. please excuse me" I said while standing up and bowed my head.
"I'm glad you enjoyed it, I'll come and get you later" he replied once I tucked my chair in.
"Alright, I'll be off now" I said as I grabbed my book and went of to my room, trying to remember the way after five minutes I got to my room and greated the guards outside my room making sure anyone or anything doesn't go into my room. I entered my room and ploped myself on the bed and crawled into the middle opening my book to the second chapter after realizing that I bearly understood anything, from switching between eating food, speaking and reading all at once. So I just caught up with the contents of that chapter one and moved onto the next and onto the next.

After around two hours I hear a knock on my door "come in" I said. Once I said that the door opened with all four of them coming in to say goodbye.
"farther, auntie, uncles. what are you doing here?" I asked in confusion.
"well we just wanted to say our goodbyes to you before we left" Lady Levi spoke up with her gentle and kind voice and the other three in awe at how small I looked compeared to the bed, but it wasn't like I was short I'm 5'6 it's just the bed is humongous. I started to crawl out of bed and made my way over to lady Levi and hugged her making farther, Lord Sullivan and Lord Beliard jealous, while Lady Levi embraced the hug cheerfully yet still in her naturally calm looking state.

"hey we want a hug goodbye aswell" Sullivan and beliard said in unison making me look at everyone else, who had jealousy written all over their face. So I let go of Lady Levi and went to hug Lord Beliard, after letting go his chearfull face went into a frown as I went over to hug Sullivan, his face lightened but and I noticed my now farther face frowned even more, every time I hugged someone else. So I let go of Sullivan with his face filled with joy just drop and I ran over to my farther and hugged him the hardest with him instantly picking me up like a little child with his arm under me which I was sat on, because of how small I was compared to him and he squeezed me tightly but not too tightly that it would crush me. But it was still tight due to his misscalculations and he started to loosen his grip, until only the one arm was under me and his other hand was holding his other arm, and I only had one arm on him to ensure that I didn't fall.

Then he walked with me still in his arks and walked to the door with the tree greats following behind as we reached the door. Farther opened the door and let out the three greats but to all of our suprise there are now photographers and paparazzi at the door trying to get pictures and an interview with my farther. I imedietly got annoyed and wanted to go to my room since I hated pictures. So I burrowed into my farthers sholder trying to hide my face with my farther realizing and bugging the three to leave with them doing so and delkira slamming the door to make sure that no-one would see me anymore. I lifting my head up as the door slammed out of supprise, he walked up stairs with me still in his grasp and took me too my room whilst he walked up the stairs he asked me if I was ok and I replied with "yeah, that was embarrassed and awkward but that's all, thank you for doing that by the way"

I noticed he was now looking at me with eyes that in amine their eyes would be sparkling as he said "it was my pleasure. I am your farther after all" he said with a big smile on his face "well now let's get you sorted ey" he said walking into my room placing me on my bed and then sitting next to me.

"Ok this is going to be difficult but you will be able to be a demon I promise" he said while I look at him desperately.
"Being a human in a demon world is very dangerous and being a princess is dangerous, so i'd do anything to not be in danger" I replied while being nervous but determined.

"Alright, so you have to drink this" he says snapping me out of my thoughts.
"alright" I said grabbing it, I looked towards him to see if there was a propped way to drink it or it would just work any way.
"just drink it normally not too fast but not to slow, it will taste like whatever you want it to taste like" he said reassuring my nerves and I drank it luckily it wasn't a lot so it took like two seconds to finnish. It didn't taste bad luckily but my throught felt dry as he handed me a glass of water.
"here you might need this" I looked at him to wonder where it came from. I took it and drank it slowly.
"thank you" I said making sure he new I was happy about this even if my stomach hurt a little.
"it's my pleasure, please rest thought. Your body should be aching around about now" he said as I crawled under my covers grabbing my book that I left there luckily still on the same page and got comfortable as my farther left the room.
