Layla's POV

"Now that that's sorted I need to finish this paperwork, uuuggghhh " I said before putting my head on the desk before father walks into my room.
"what's up?" He said as I turn around to look at him.
"oh, I was doing my work, but them I realized I could go to the old class group chat we had and see who still has their old numbers, turns out only one person didn't but we got her back into the group and we arranged to hang at the pub on Saturday next week but then when I went back to my work I forgot what part of the sheet I finished on" I said "oh I see well, I was just about to get something to eat, want to come?" Farther asked as I stood up.
"what sort of question is that? Of course I do" I said walking up to him at the door. And walking to the kitchen, greeting the chefs before getting some snacks from the fridge and then went back upstairs to my room to continue the paperwork. Once I got back to my room I decided to fully go over the sheet again.

(The day of the meet up)

Once I woke up i made my way to my closet. I grabbed a black top, black skirt, a pair of tights and a jacket.

I looked at the clock and it was now 11:13 so I went to the dining hall and notice five full meals set out on the table so I go take a seat and start eating one.

Once I finished eating, it was now 11:32 so we desided to leave then and get a boba and a snack on the way there.

Once me and kalego got to the location, that someone put in the chat, we went inside and the first person we saw was Alen and Delaney, they always looked amazing with Alen's red hair and eyes corresponding with Delaney's blue hair and eyes with there purple suit and dress.

Once we went up to them I said "hey Alan, Delaney, how's it going?" I asked. "Ah- layla, kalego, you two still look the same as ever" Delaney said.
"Elizabeth and Carter are the only ones were waiting on now, shichro and Kristen are over there" Alen said pointing at the table they were sitting at.
"alright, I'll go greet them, are you coming or staying here?" I asked.
"No, we'll wait for the other two to arrive here, and then we'll go over there when they arrive" Alen explained.
"alright we'll see you when you get over there" I said.
yeah" Delaney said before me and kalego walked up to the table.

"hey shichiro, hey Kris" I said sitting down kalego doing the same.
"hey Layla, kalego, how've you been?" Kristen asked.
"busy, but good, how about you?" I asked before receiving a slight nod from kalego.
"you can say that again, being king and a teacher is a hell of a lot of work" kalego said.

"this is probably a bad time to tell you this, but the rest of the teachers heard I was going to this pub with our old classmates and, er-, they kinda planned to come here, since they knew you were going to be here" Shichiro said nervously. Kalego looked at shichiro with his face went as dark as a shadow as his head drops onto the table.
"I'm going to die if they see me" he said as I put my hand on his head.
"it's fine, my love, I'm sure we won't bump into them" I said trying to calm him.

"with my luck anything could happen" he said looking up at me with an upset face.
"I'll tell them to leave if they do, so don't worry about it, just be quite so we don't gain attention" I said patting his head before he sat up properly.
"fine" he said still with his grumpy face.
"Hey guys" Elizabeth said as we turn our heads.
"oh hey, come sit" I said patting my hand on the seat next to me on the oposit side of Kalego.
"hey Carter, you good?" Kalego said as Carter sits down on the chair.
"to be honest man, no, the kids are so stressful" Carter said.
"next time say yeah then shut the fuck up" I said with some laughing. "but on a serious note, why did you wanna have kids in the first place they are so annoying and chaotic" I said as the two looked at me.
"because we thought they would actually listen to us, and not paint on the walls" Elizabeth said as I started laughing.
"pfft!, I did that when I was younger, your lucky if they haven't put nail polish on windows yet" I said calming myself as the two look at me with shocked face as.

"you put nail polish on windows?!?" Alen asked.
"Oh yeah, and it took us a while to get off" I said before sighing. "yeah I was a troublesome child" I continued before laughing nervously "anyway! Who's going to have a meal?" I asked.
"me and Alen will, we haven't had food yet" Delaney said.
"neither have we" shichiro said referring to him and Kristen.
"alright so you four should get something to eat, I don't want you four to go hungry, so take this and pick something you want" I said grabbing four menus from the stand behind me and giving it to the four.

"so what have you all been up to since we graduated?" I asked curiously.
"ok I'll go first, so first I got a job in a dem-doll agency knows as devi-spice and I then got married to Carter and had two beautiful children, I'm now just a stay at home mother" Elizabeth said.
"and I've been working at border patrol since we graduated, I still work there" Carter added.
"wait I've been going there for some cases since we graduated as well what department do you work in?" I asked.
"oh I've been in the security department" Carter said.
"oh nice I've been working in the interigation department" I said.
"me and Delaney have also been working there aswell but in the transport department(human world transport)" Alen chimes in "really? We've been in the same place this entire time, but we just never noticed since the departments are so far apart" I said peicing everything together.

"it seems that we were all linked through something" shichiro said before continuing. "like Kristens children being mine and kalego's student and your jobs" he explained.
"oh yeah your right" Delaney said.
"it's like were destined to meet up" Elizabeth said.
"if you think about it, this wouldn't have happened without Layla, I mean I would know shichiro and see Kristen like a couple times because of her son being our student, but we wouldn't be here right now if it wasn't because of her" kalego interrupted.
"wait Its not just because of me" I said embarrasely.
"no he's right if it weren't for you we wouldn't have had the motivation to try hard to get rank tet(9) and we probably wouldn't be above rank He(5), not to mention you were the one that mentioned to meet in the group chat" alen further explained.

"yeah he's right, thank you for everything Layla" Elizabeth said with everyone nodding and agreeing as my face redned from embarrassed.
"i-its fine" I said before Kalego rests his arms around my shoulders.
"see, they think so too" he said before looking up and seeing Robin looking at him "oh for fucks sakes" he said removing his arm giving him a death stare, as we all look to see what he just saw with us all seeing Robin.
"oi cabidge! Leave before I set you on fire" I said making fire appear in my hands.
"oh come on I just wanted to annoy professor kalego" he said.
"oi that's the queen your talking to show some respect" Carter said.
"yeah you have no right! And to annoy the king, how shameful" Elizabeth said.
"guys he's only a child, don't be to hard on him" Alen said chuckling to himself as the eight of us broke into laughter with kalego trying to hold it in "but seriously through leave" I said after calming myself as Dali came and grabbed robins shoulder.
"sorry about him" Dali said whilst smiling to himself and pushing him away "thanks you" I called out to him.

Once we finished our conversations, food and drinks it was then 6:32 in the afternoon as we all set off saying our goodbyes me and kalego flew home to be greeted by everyone. "Layla! You left before I even woke up so I didn't even get to see you today!" Iruma said kinda upset.
"sorry iruma, how about I make it up to you tomorrow, we can practice some magic if you would like" I said as iruma looked at me with a shimmer in his eyes before nodding drastically before we went to our rooms.
