"addy, guess what!" i exclaimed as soon as she picked up the facetime call, barely able to contain my excitement.

"what? what?!" she replied, her eyes lighting up in anticipation.

"the other day, louis kissed me." i blurted out, my heart racing at the memory.

"shut the fuck up!" she gasped, mouth dropping open in disbelief. "you are kidding me right now!"

"nope. it really happened." i said, feeling the giddiness rise within me. "it was at the after party for my art showcase. we were just talking, and then it happened!"

"oh my god! tell me everything." she urged, practically bouncing in her seat. "was it soft? passionate? did you feel fireworks?"

"it was definitely soft at first," i said, recalling the way he leaned in. "but then it turned passionate. when he pulled away, he looked at me and said, 'you're really something else, you know that?'"

"holy shit! imogen, this is like a fucking movie!" addy squealed, her excitement radiating through the screen. "did he say anything else?"

"just that he had a great time and wanted to see me again," i replied, warmth spreading through my chest at the thought. "the way he looked at me was just, i felt like i was floating."

"okay, but what about his sisters? were they cool with you?" she asked, leaning in closer, eager for every detail.

"they were so fun. obviously i've met the twins already, they're the sweetest. they teased him about me all night. it was hilarious," i laughed, remembering how they kept calling me his 'art girl.'

"what about lottie?" she asked, her eyes widening. "was she nice?"

"yeah, she was a bit standoffish at first, but by the end, she was joking around with me. i think she's warming up." i smiled, relieved that i was getting along with all of them.

"so when do i get to meet this rockstar? well i have, but when do i get to meet him while he's your ' unofficial boyfriend. ' " addy asked, her eyes sparkling with excitement.

"i'm not sure. i really want to set something up soon, but i hope he's just as excited about it as i am." my heart raced at the thought of introducing him to my friends as a boyfriend. a girl can dream.

"just remember, im going to have to have a 'what are you doing with my daughter?' chat with louis," jacob chimed in from the background, pretending to be serious and puffing out his chest.

"shut up, jacob." i shot back, my cheeks flushing. "you're just jealous because your best friend is talking to someone who's literally famous. "

"i am not jealous. i have my beautiful fiancé. i just think it's hilarious that my best friend is getting involved with a rockstar." he laughed, shaking his head in disbelief.

"it feels like a dream," i said softly, my heart fluttering with the possibilities of where this could lead. "he's just so sweet. and really down to earth."

"well, don't let it go to your head, princess," jacob teased, grinning at me.

"never, but seriously, addy, i can't wait to tell you more. this feels like the start of something special," i said, my voice full of excitement.

"it totally is. you deserve every bit of it," addy replied, her tone warm and supportive. "just keep being your sweet self, and everything will fall into place. the alodia curse is broken! "

"thank you addy. that means a lot," i said, feeling grateful for her friendship.

as we chatted a bit longer, i couldn't shake the feeling of excitement coursing through me. i was eager to see where things would go with louis. "alright, i've got to go now," i said, glancing at the time. "but i'll call you tomorrow, we have a lot more to talk about."

"yes and make sure you let me know the moment you see him again." addy said, her enthusiasm infectious.

"i will, see you later. love you guys. " i said, ending the call and stepping out of the uber. my heart raced as i thought of louis and all the possibilities ahead.
