~~Chapter 22~~

Previously...

"May 25th, 2048 on Your Mom news, 3:09 pm. Freddy Fazbear's Mega Pizzaplex has burnt to the ground yesterday at 5:56 am. Parents are--"

"Freddy?!"

"Indeed! My battery is charging."

"I'm going back. You don't have to come if you don't want to. I know how to stop her."

No one POV.

 Y/n looks at the boy. "Sooo.. How exactly are you going to stop her?" He smirks, and starts cracking his knuckles. "Gaming skills." She raises a brow. Freddy whips his head to Gregory, concerned. "What was that?" Both kids raised an eyebrow. "What?" Y/n asks, grabbing Gregory's hand with her left. "The cracking sound?" Gregory chuckles. "Me cracking my knuckles." "Oh, okay." All of them look forward. "Soo.. How will you use your 'gaming skills'," Y/n makes quotation marks in the air with her right hand. "Help with Vanny, or possibly Vanessa?" 

 He intertwines your fingers with his. "Well, you know how you said that it's possibly a virus in the bots?" He glances at  you for a moment. You nod. "Yeah, well, what if there is a virus that can posses people? Like there's some sort of killer that put him or herself in to a game, and whoever played it ended up getting the virus in them? Then the virus carries out what it was doing in his other life? Killing." Y/n looks at the boy, worried. She stops, puts both her hands to the sides of his face and stares at him.

 He stares at her confused, and Freddy raises a brow. "Sir, are you okay?" She questions. Gregory puts both his hands on her wrists and pulls them down. "Yes. I'm fine. Apparently, there's a few games that have been acting weirdly. I think their the 'Princess Quest' games." He says, removing one hand from one of your wrists, then sliding the other on down to intertwine your fingers again, pulling you down the sidewalk. Freddy nods. "Yes. If you unplug them, they still run. Also, no one has put them in the Pizzaplex, they just showed up."

 Gregory smirks. "See? Magical games. If I'm right, feel free to call me a genius." Y/n rolls her eyes at his sentence. "Or an idiot." "Fine. At least I'm your idiot." She rolls her eyes playfully. "That is true." Gregory smiles, and you do too. Finally, you reach your destination. You sneak in, using the old passes Gregory, for some reason, still has. "Why'd you keep them again?" Y/n asks, turning to the boy. He shrugs. "I don't know. To remember how we met or the people we've seen." "Why'd you want to remember that." He shrugs.

 You look around. Nothing really has changed, huh? Everything looks the same. "Can we explore the place? We won't be able to get to the areas we need to, if you're correct." Y/n asks, turning as Gregory nods. "Sure. I don't care." Freddy looks at both children. "I'm going to see my friends. I will see you two later." You both nod. You wave bye, then start going to the daycare. Immediately, the young girl spots doors that used to be closed, but now works. Y/n walks in to the daycare. She leads the older boy to the bottom area, looking at a shop. They did add a few new things.

 "Gregory. Look! They added a resting lounge." She says, pointing to a sign that reads 'Moons Resting Lounge'. "Oh. They did." He responds bluntly. Y/n shakes her head while smiling. She walks towards the open room, dragging the brunette behind her. Stopping at the entrance, she looks at the decorations. It's a dim lit area, filled with 'night time' decorations. There's clouds, stars, some things referring to, or is, Moondrop. There's couches and tables for relaxation. There's a projector (something like that-) that is giving the room white stars spread out on the walls.

 After getting a good look around the area, you turn back around, walking away. "Where to now?" Gregory asks, looking at you. "Roxy's Raceway. I wanna see if they ended up finishing it." Gregory nods at your response, looking ahead. Y/n watched all the people shop, eat, walk, and talk as she walks past to the elevator. "God, it's crowded in here." She mumbles, walking in the box and pressing the small Freddy. Gregory nods and chuckles. "Yeah. It is." He agrees.

He leans on the wall, squeezing the girls hand a bit tighter, then letting go. She glances at him, then looks back towards the door. The elevator opens, and the two step out, being greeted by a map. Right away, Gregory grabs it. "Of course they're still here." Y/n says, sighing. Gregory chuckles and nods. He lets go of the girls hand and opens the map, checking for any new areas. "I don't see anything new in the atrium." He informs, folding the map back up and slipping it in to his pocket.

"Okay." You nod and start towards Roxy's Raceway. Y/n looks around the atrium. "Boy, I miss this place but also don't." Gregory lets out a small laugh. "Yeah. Me too." They both smile at each other. Once both children made it to the entrance, they were amazed. "Wow. They finished it." Y/n says, looking around. The boy nods. "Yeah. Guess so." He replies, walking in. The (h/c)ed girl follows behind him, as to not lose him in the crowd around them. While observing the raceway, a random thought comes to your mind. You slip off the jacket you were wearing and tie it around your waist. Gregory watches as you do so, then looks back at the kids racing around. 

Both of you ended up looking at the 'Plex while waiting for it to close. You ended up getting lunch at El Chips, like always, and spending more time together. Once it got close to the time of closing, you went into Freddy's room and in to the vent behind it. Ya know. To chill for a few :D. Anyways, after that ended you ended up climbing out and going in to Freddy's room. You haven't seen him since you went to the Daycare, so you thought that maybe they were fixing him or something. Due to his room being here, you thought it'd be reasonable. So, he won't be able to help you guys. "Where are the 'games' you're going for?" The girl asks, looking up at the boy.

"Pretty sure the first one is in Roxy's Raceway, the second one is in Fazcade, and idk where the third one is, but I know it's somewhere." He explains. Y/n nods and starts walking to the Raceway.

Once there, Gregory starts the game. He shows up in a room with a bed. There's a chest, and multiple doors. Gregory opens the chest and gets an extra heart added. He then opens a door, leading to a room with holes in the floor. Small black rabbits with white stuff on their face start going after him. He ends up dodging them all, somehow, and makes it to a room with (Going off memory here-) stones around it. He walks up to each stone and ends up putting fire in them all, which ends up activating it. Then, he continues through the game.

He backs away from the arcade. "Damn. That looks hard.." Gregory shrugs in response. "It kind of is. But no need to worry. I'm a pro gamer." He grins at you. You playfully roll your eyes and head to Fazcade, leaving the older male behind. "Hey! Don't leave me!" He exclaims, jogging to you. You shrug and continue through the door of the Raceway.

Sorry. There will be lots of these due to me not knowing much about the gameplay through the Princess Quest games, and because I'm lazy lols-

Gregory already ended up beating the second game. Now all he has to do is find the last one. "One more.." He mutters, turning to Y/n. She looks at him and raises a brow. "What?" "Sorry, you're just really beautiful." You shake your head while smiling, then look at him. "So. Where do you think it is?" "No clue. However, I did see a vent in Fazer Blast. That can't be a coincidence. I didn't inform you cause I didn't think of it at the time." He rubs the back of his neck. "It's alright." You assure him, and grab his free hand, dragging him to the elevator.

The game was in Fazer Blast like Gregory has said. It's in most likely Vanny's lair. Her name is written on the wall in big capital letters with a line under it. He unlocks the door, and then a scream is heard. Both jump back, startled by the sudden noise. Then, a voice came from the silence. "There you are!" Both turned around, terrified to see Vanny. "Leave us alone!" Y/n yells at the rabbit. She starts taking a few steps towards you. "And why would I-" She cuts off and stops moving. She then falls on to her knees, and holds her head, dropping her knife to the floor. You both stand there in confusion and shock from the sudden movement. You grab Gregory's arm.

She grips the top of the rabbit head harder and harder, until you could hear small tearing sounds. "No.." She mumbles. "No!" She looks at the floor, and you both raised your brows. "NO!!" She stops moving and talking, sitting on the floor. Both children step back, soaking in what just happened. Vanny then takes off her suits head, revealing Vanessa. She looks like she just saw a ghost. She then looks up at you. "You.." She murmurs. You could feel Gregory tense up, and you felt scared of what she could possibly do. She then throws the head to the side, and jumps up, running to you both. Both of you flinched as she wrapped her arms around you, tears forming in her eyes.

You find that her aura completely changed. You felt much, better? , then before. Like weight had lifted from your shoulders. You could tell Gregory felt it too, due to his reaction from the hug. He didn't push her away. "Thank you!! Thank you so so so so so much!!" She exclaims, happily. Your face turns in to one of total confusion, and Gregory looked shocked. She backs away, and looks at you two apologetically. "I'm sorry.. I don't know why I did that.." She nervously lets out a small laugh. "It's.. Okay.." You mutter.

"Wait.." Both girls turn their heads towards Gregory. "So.. Were you being controlled?" Vanessa nods in response. "Yes, I was." "So I was right.." He whispered to himself. Vanessa smiles. "Thank you so much for saving me. How could I repay you?" You thought for a moment. "Well.. We don't really have parents..." You mumble. You know she heard it due to her reaction. "You don't?! Well... I could buy a house and... Become your guardian, I guess? I have a lot of money from saving and... Well, living here and not having to pay-" She awkwardly smiles. You nod your head and smile. "Really?! You'd do that for us?!" Vanessa nods. "I mean, you seem like good kids. Why not? I could use company."

Now it was your turn to return the hug. "Thank you!" At first, she flinched but then wrapped her arms around you. "Of course." Gregory thought for a moment. "Hey, uh.. Can we take Fred? Or, Freddy?" Vanessa thought for a moment. "I mean, we could... But we'd have to sneak him out." Gregory smirks. "I've got an Idea..."

"Okay. Gregory, are you sure about this." He nods. "100%." You look at him like he's crazy. Vanessa looks like she's questioning her choice of wanting to adopt you. She then chuckles. "It's fine. We'll try it, and if it doesn't work, then, well, we'll just have to leave him." You nod your head in agreement. Gregory frowns. "I'm sure it'll work! Hopefully.." He whispers the last word. "Alright. Let's give it a shot." You say, leading the way.

Alright. Somehow, the plan worked. It actually worked. Gregory seems super happy, and you and Vanessa are questioning how. Freddy smiles. "Officer Vanessa! I'm happy you changed your mind on children!" Vanessa nods, still shocked Gregory had got him out. "What now?" Gregory asks. The three of you turn to Vanessa. She shakes out of her trance, then looks back at you all. "We'll get a house, and then I'll adopt you, basically. We'll work out life from there." All three nodded, agreeing. "Alright. What're you all standing for? Let's go!" She smiles enthusiastically, and starts to walk. You all follow her. Gregory smiles at you, and you smile back.

It has been a crazy few months...
