Todoroki was tapping his foot as he impatiently was waiting for Yaoyorozu outside her dorm. They normally walk together to school but currently it was 7:30 am and Yaoyorozu normally comes out earlier so they can get to class early.

A few minutes later, Yaoyorozu still has not come out and Todoroki had to start making his way to class now. He texted Yaoyorozu that he had to walk to school now since she hasn't come out which she didn't reply back. Strange... It says that Yaoyorozu was online 2 minutes ago.

Todoroki made his into class and Yaoyorozu was not in her assigned seat. He waited a bit until the door opened but it wasn't  Yaoyorozu but their home room teacher. Todoroki was concerned about Yaoyorozu because she was now late.

Half way into class the door found open to reveal a apologetic Yaoyorozu who was explaining to Mr Azaiwa why she was late. He allowed it because it was her first time ever that she was late.

She sat down in her assigned seat which was next to Todoroki. When Todoroki tried talking to her she would just ignore him and act like she couldn't hear him when he knew she could hear her.

After class ended she packed her things quickly and rushed out of the room before Todoroki could talk to her. He shrugged it off and assumed she was just stressed with work.

At lunch she would talk with her friends but was rather distant with them and had a smile painted on her face. Something about her was different. Her smile seemed...

Fake

Todoroki stared at her trying to forgive out what was going on with Yaoyorozu. Kaminari and Kirishima was explaining dramatically about how they failed their exam very badly and how it was rather unfair or something like that. Todoroki wasn't really listening to them.

"It was so underwhelming!! Right Todoroki?"

"Todoroki...?"

"Earth to Todoroki?"

The guys waved their hands in front of his face and snapped him out of his thoughts. They all looked at him concerned.

"Bro are you okay?"

"Yeah I am"

"Your mind seems focused on something."

"Or someone..."

Everyone bursted out laughing which annoyed Todoroki.

"Are you distracted by someone who's name rhymes with promo!"

"no"

"Lies!"

After lunch everybody got up and left to go and hangout after school which Yaoyorozu was not going to. Todoroki took this opportunity to talk to her as she was alone.
He walked to her and tapped her on the shoulder to which Yaoyorozu turned around but her face changed into an alarming look.

"Yaoyorozu let's talk."

"Sorry Todoroki I've got to go!"

"But-"

Yaoyorozu ran away clutching her books in her arms.Todoroki ignored this but it went on for days then weeks which Todoroki was definitely sure that she was avoiding him.

After a while Todoroki had enough of this a purposefully waited for Yaoyorozu outside her dorm to confront her about this. A few minutes later Todoroki could hear a group of people coming. Luckily it was Yaoyorozu and her friends. She seemed happy with them but every time she sees him her expression drops.

Yaoyorozu split up from her friend group and made her way to her dorm. When she turned the corner she saw Todoroki waiting for her. She panicked. Why was he here now? She looked around anxiously and turned around to run away until she felt someone grab her wrist and they spun her around so she was facing the person.

Todoroki pulled Yaoyorozu into his dorm as he didn't want to interrupt people. She was fearful as she knew what Todoroki was going to ask her.

"Why are you avoiding me?"

Yaoyorozu didn't know what to do. She wanted to disappear right now.

"H-huh I'm n-not avoiding you!"

Todoroki could see through her white lies. Yaoyorozu was a terrible liar and a very easy person to read.

"Don't lie to me..."

"I'm not!"

She tried to run out of the room but was stopped when Todoroki grabbed her by the wrist and pulled her into his arms. She couldn't take it anymore... Her heart felt heavy and her throat burned. Her whole body was trembling as she poured her heart out into Todoroki's sweater.

Todoroki just tapped her back and hugged her tighter every second. Yaoyorozu was clutching Todoroki's sweater as she felt like a void was eating her up. After weeks of repeating avoiding Todoroki , she longed for his comfort. She felt safe and a sense of relief while being in his arms.

"I'm sorry" was all Yaoyorozu managed to choke out in between her sobs.

"Shh...it's ok" Todoroki reassured her that everything was alright but was it really?

"Are you ready to tell me what's going on?"

Yaoyorozu lifter her head from Todoroki's sweater and opened her mouth to say something but she couldn't. She felt like she lost her voice and her throat burned. It was as if the world wasn't letting her tell Todoroki about her problems.

"I can't...I'm sorry."

Yaoyorozu let go of Todoroki's embrace and left the room. Todoroki felt dejected but seeing how he was so close , he wasn't going to give up.

Yaoyorozu went inside her room and cried even more. Why is her life like this? She cried for the next hour until her phone buzzed. She raised her head from the pillow that her face was submerged in and turned on her phone. The bright light made Yaoyorozu wince.

It was notifications not from one person but thousands. She was being tagged in posts and the posts...were about her father.

THE FAMOUS MR YAOYOROZU HAS BEEN EXPOSED FOR HIS CORRUPT SCHEMES. THE MAN WE ALL INSPIRED TO BE WAS ACTUALLY A MAN WHO SOLD FAKE WORK.

Yaoyorozu was shocked. She knew her father wasn't the best person but never would she think that her father was a scammer. She was devastated. The comments were malicious and hurtful.

-Momo Yaoyorozu:
Wtf! Who do you think you are invading my privacy!

Anonymous person:
I warned you...

-Momo Yaoyorozu:
I didn't do anything! I've been avoiding Todoroki for the past month! What more do you want from me!?

Anonymous person:
Liar! I saw you today getting all cozy with him in the dorms. You two even went in his dorm room and didn't come out for hours!

Yaoyorozu was in disbelief. How did this person get all this information of her family and knew that her and Todoroki talked today in the dorms.

-Momo Yaoyorozu:
You're a stalker and obsessed! How did you even get all this information...

Anonymous person:
That doesn't matter but take this as a warning that if you don't stay away from Todoroki much worse things will come.

Yaoyorozu didn't know what to do. She already impacted her families image because of her selfish feelings. She had no choice but to obey and decided that she will cut all contacts off with Todoroki. First by blocking him on all socials.

The next day, Todoroki went to class first because he woke up late so he was in a hurry. When he went into the classroom Yaoyorozu was not in her seat. Todoroki messaged her but it said that he was no longer able to. Todoroki was now extremely worried. Yaoyorozu has never missed a day of school as she loved school so something was definitely wrong.

At lunch, Yaoyorozu was still no where to be found. He went up to Yaoyorozu's best friend, Kyoka Jirou, and asked her why Yaoyorozu was not in.

"I'm not sure, I messaged her and she read it but didn't reply!"

Strange... Jirou could still message Yaoyorozu but Todoroki couldn't?

After school, Todoroki went to her dorm room and knocked on the dorm. He realised the lights were off and there was no movement. He was extremely concerned that he typed in the code for her door and went in. Yaoyorozu had given the code to her dorm after the fainting incident in case.

When he went in it was empty. There were not a single trace and the windows were opened making the room extremely cold. The room was a mess. Todoroki saw Yaoyorozu's phone on the table and picked it up. She had multiple messages from all types of social media platforms.

She had a message too. Todoroki opened it and read it.

Anonymous person:
You should just k*ll yourself if you really can't stay away from Todoroki-Kun.

Todoroki now understood a bit of it. She was being blackmailed into staying away from him. That's why she had been avoiding him. He felt bad. Really bad. All this time he thought she was tired and stressed from the work but no... It was far worse and she had been going through all this agony for so long.

Todoroki left the room and started checking the whole campus. He went to every dorm building and asked every person he could see to ask if they had seen her even his enemy Awase.

When Iida and Bakugo saw this they stopped him as he was running around the place like a lunatic and he had a face of fear which was very rare to see from Todoroki.

"Ayo icy hot why do you look like you are going to die!?"

"Have...you...seen...Yaoyorozu!!!?"

"Ponytail? Nah she wasn't in for chemistry today...why?"

"She isn't responding to me and she isn't anywhere!"

"...have you seen the news...?" iida interrupted the two and they both looked at him. He raised his phone at them and showed them. It was about her father and his scams...but the comments were degrading.

Shoto felt his fists clenched. Her father was not scum! Not here! So why are people attacking her?

Then it hit him. The only place he hadn't checked and where they used to go every night to laugh and bond with eachother.

The rooftop

Todoroki ran off without saying bye to the guys and went straight to the stairs. It was a long way up but he didn't care he persevered through it all... for her.

When he arrived at the rooftop he saw a figure. The person was cuddled up and holding their legs together. Luckily it was the right person Todoroki was looking for.

Yaoyorozu,woke up and found that she had even more messages saying the same things about her. She went to her bathroom and saw that she was a mess. Her mascara was smudged, she had large dark eye bags under her eyes. She couldn't and didn't want to go to school. She couldn't imagine the things her friends would say to her and about her. She's lost her friends, her lover,her family,herself. She's lost everything...

She stayed in her room for the whole day. She skipped school and decided that she wanted to go to the rooftop. She went up and just sat on the cold floor. She looked at the buildings below her and thought about the times her and Todoroki had up here.

Her eyes started to water. She missed the times when her and Todoroki would laugh and hold each other in the cold air. The first time they came up here and Todoroki gave her his hoodie. She missed him...

She looked over the edge and it was high that it scared her but she felt like she wanted to jump. She wanted to escape from this hell hole. It wasn't like anyone would miss her. But she pushed these dark thoughts away. She had so much more to live for. She was so young and even though she was going through hard times she felt like she needed to stay alive. She felt that someone out in the world would feel sorrow if she jumped so she didn't.

She sat back down and clutched her legs as the cold night brushed her skin. She was sitting like that until  she heard someone say her name.

"Yaoyorozu...?"

She turned around and saw it was Todoroki, the last person in the world she wanted to see right now. "Todoroki..." she stood up and was about to leave when Todoroki wrapped his hands around her wrist stopping her.

"Don't lie to me and tell me everything!"

"There's nothing going on...!?"

"Yaoyorozu... I know you and let me say this to you again... You are a terrible liar..."

Yaoyorozu snapped. "Did you ever thing that's what's wrong!? Us saying we know eachother so well. I've told you multiple times nothing is wrong!!" Her throat was bubbling. She felt like crying but she couldn't so she held it in and turned away from him.

Todoroki was in disbelief. "If nothings wrong say it whilst looking dead into my eyes?" He grabbed her chin and turned her to face him. Her eyes were holding in the tears desperately as she looked at his eyes.

"T-there's...nothing w-wrong."

"Why are you trembling then?" Todoroki questioned. "If nothings wrong with you why can't you say it without-"

"Because I can't be with you! Your son of the best businessman in Japan! Whilst I'm the daughter of a fake scammer... Why do you associate with me when there's so many other people in the world. You don't even like me the way I like you!"

"What?...Yaoyorozu I don't understand y-"

"Then when will you! God do I have to spell everything out for you! I like you! But you don't and I know it! Don't deny it I know you don't like me but god I wish you did cause I've been going nuts because of you!"

Todoroki was shocked. He never would've thought that the girl he liked , liked him but assumed things. He was going to say something but Yaoyorozu interrupted him. "Let me finish as I've already said a lot. I like you but I'm ruining your reputation, I can't be with you and I'm sorry so don't try anymore and leave me alone!!"

And with Yaoyorozu turned away and walked out. Todoroki wanted to go after her. His mind was telling him to go after her but his body was saying otherwise. He just stood there whilst she went further and further away. After she left Todoroki cursed at himself. "Fuck!" He held his head as he processed everything.

After everything that just happened he suddenly remembered the messages Yaoyorozu had received. He was furious.

"I promise I will find this person for you..."
