It was officially opening night wich meant alot of things
For starters me having a panic attack every two seconds about something
Oh yeah starting now ...
I had just gotten my costume on and kourtney did my makeup

" heres your card....hey you okay you look flushed" nini says handing me an opening night card

" me? Oh yeah I'm fine . I'm just a little bit nervous tonight because there is going to be many things said " I say

"Wait...really?" She says

" lower your voice...and yeah I was hoping to do that tonight...I just want to spend summer with him knowing that I ya know" I say

" well I wish you good luck." She says

" thanks " I say taking a deep brearh

I stand up and walk over to ricky and ashlynn who are practicing poses for a scene

" I still cant believe you broke your wrist . "I say

" well believe it because these ain't coming off " ashlynn says holding up Ricky's wrist with hers

" ya know what I cant believe? North's performance last night" ricky says

" dont remind me ," I groan

" okay but the clogs worth wasn't half as hot as you are right now. Look at you " ashlynn says

" I know I just love how kourtney didnt make me wear a big foam clock outfit. honestly this is my dream costume " I chuckle

" well I'm glad you like yours ,Mine is itchy " ricky complains

" anyways, I'm gonna go practice lines but I'll see you in a few" I say

I walk away and go practice lines

" hey, " e.j comes up to me

" hey, " I say putting down my script

" you , look great " he smiles

" so do you" I hold my card to my body

Me and e.j have been acting a bit weird around eachother since the day that ricky and ash broke there wrist

But tonight that was gonna change

" wildcats, villagers. My freinds and allies."miss jen says

Evryone circles up

" as you know, there is a judge out there in the audience tonight. Who is very important to the future of the thetere program. He is going to score every performance, our music our sets, lord help us, even me. And in two weeks at the menkies, we could win $50,000." Miss jenn says

We all cheer at the last part

"So tonight , we are going to put the U in utah!" Miss jen makes a pun...

Little fake chuckles come from around the circle

"And to ricky and ashlynn, some words of inspiration. My deep and shameful disappointment in your recent accident has mellowed to a sort of numbness, so theres that ." Miss jen says

" oh, were those the words of inspiration ?" Ashlynn asks

" yes they were! Okay were Is lefou?" Miss jen asks

Big red runs in with a bottle of pesto bismol in his hand

" sorry just some dry heaving " big red overshare

" dude!" Me and Ricky say in unison

" dry" big red says

Ashlynn picks up a giant bouquet of flowers

" biggie, I got you these for your big debut." Ashlynn says to big red

" oh wow" he says

He dry heaves and runs off leaving evryone in disgust

"Okay thirty minutes people " natile shouts across the room to evryone

Evryone cheers

It was 10 minutes till show

I was a lot calmer but there was still one thing on my mind .... telling e.j I loved him

I had his opening night gift in my backpack. I was also scared to give that to him so most of my nerves were just about e.j so....just like last opening night

I was sitting on the floor stretching when miss jen came up to me

" here honey , your dad wanted me to give these to you. And Do you know where ricky is?" Miss jen asks me handing me the bouqete of flowers

" uh yeah he just went out into the hall" I say taking the flowers

" okay thank you" she says

I take the bouqete and put it with my backpack

" cast and crew this is your last call" the overhead speakers said

Ricky ran to the side of the stage

" hey break a leg out there " I say

" nah I'm good i already broke a wrist " he chuckles

He walks on stage and gets in his placement

The orchestra starts playing

As the curtains rise

Claps come from the crowd

I walked back over to my bag and sat down taking a deep breath to calm myself down so I don't end up sweating off my makup

I stand up again and walk over to the curtains to watch ricky

" but then, one winter's night ,an old beggar woman came to the castle and offered him a single rose in exchange for shelter from the bitter cold .repulsed by her haggard appearance,the prince sneered at the gift, and turned the old woman away!but she warned him not to be deceived by appearances,for beauty is found within.and when he dismissed her again,the old womens ugliness melted away to revel a beautiful enchantress .if he could learn to love another and earn her love in return by the time the last petal fell, then the spell would be broken.if not, he would be doomed to remain a beast for all time." Mr.m continue to narrate

Ricky with one swoop turned into the beast

The curtains closed and ricky ran backstage

" wildcats !this is going fine. I am mostly proud. And I heard big red hasn't thrown up In over twenty minutes. Every great performance needs an x factor. Something special that puts it over the top. A little birdy has just told me where our menkies judge is sitting, and I'm thinking that with just a few minor adjustment, we can make this gentlemen feel every bit as welcome as the intruder that my mother clubbed over the head when I was a girl." Miss jen says

" I thought she just hog tied him." Seb said Concerned

"She just hog tied him.... when be our guest begins, I have directed benjiaman mazzara and his lightning-ists....to spotlight our judge. And then I need you all to make him feel especially and uniquely welcome.any questions?" Miss jen asks

" many " gina says

" shouldn't we just do what we rehearsed. Dosent that feel a little desperate?" Seb asks

" it feels that way for a reason sebastian . Besides carlos is a seasoned professional who can roll with anything, right?" Miss jen says

Evryone states at Carlos' blank face

" he says help" seb says

I was standing on the side while I had to wait for my que

Belle sits down in the chair provided by babbet

The spotlight shines on the judge

I stomp out onto stage

" what is all this ruckus?" I say while lumiere sing s

I get picked up by two forks and get placed on a cart getting rolled out onto the side of the stage

Gina runs to the side of the stage

" life is so unnerving for a servant who's not serving hes not whole without a soul to wait upon most days we just lay around the castle flabby fat and lazy you walked in opps-a-daisy " Carlos sings

Kourtney runs out onto the stage

" it's a guest it's a guest sakes alive oh I'll be blessed wines been poured , and thank the lord I've had the napkins freshly pressed with dessert , shell want tea and my dear that's fine with me while the cups do there soft shoein I'll be bubblin I'll be brewin I'll be warm piping hot heavens sake is that a spot clean it up we want the company impressed we've got alot to do ! Is it one lump or two? For you our guest ! Shes our guest !" Kourtney sings

I walk out on stage again as they all line up for a kick line

" master is not going to like this" I say

Gina pulls me into the kick line

" course .. by course one by one till you shout enough I'm done!" Evryone sings

Lumiere , babette, chip , mrs.potts and me all circle around the table behind all the silverware and belle

"Then will sing you off to sleep as you digest, tonight you'll prop your feet up but for now let's eat up be our guest be our guest be our guest please be our guest!" We all sing the ending of the song as ashlynn spins around

Claps go around the crowd

As the curtains close

" ladies, and gents , this is a 15 minute intermission if you dont buy atleast $20 worth of concessions, you do not support art." Natile says over the loud speaker

I walk off stage to e.j

" hey can we talk for I sec?" I ask

" yeah sure" he says

We walk out into the empty hall way

" okay so I know I've been acting a bit weird but I got you something " i say pulling out a gift from behind my back

" wait- what is this? You didn't need to do that " he says opening the gift

" no it's nothing really" I say

He pulls out a photo album

" is this an album of us ?" He asks

" yeah it is " I say

" okay, well this makes me feel less stupid for giving you this then " he says pulling a gift out from behind his back aswell

I open the gift " oh my gosh, " I say pulling out a photo album with pictures from e.js Instagram of us

" hey, great minds think alike" he says smiling

I smile back at him
Catching a glimpse of gina over his shoulder

I nod my head over to her so e.j would turn around

" hey, G you okay?" I ask her as I walk closer

" uh yeah, it's just my moms not coming. " she says

" oh , that really sucks I'm sorry " e.j says

" yeah, she said she sent me a suprise but I don't-" gina heys cut off by the sound of another voice

" I think she ment me ?" The voice says

Gina turns

She walks up to him

Me and e.j go back stage again to give G some privacy

" members of the company this is your ten minute call to act two . Please evryone remain in the same role you started in." Natile says over the loud speaker

" air I need air" kourtney says walking into the room

" wait what happened?" Nini asked

I got up and went over there to help her

" Howie was being super weird just now, and I'm dangerously close to doubting myself here " kourtney says

" hey, no . Number one your kourtney " I say

" fact " kourt replies

" number two , we dont do it for them okay? We do it for us." I say

" also fact ." She says more confident

" k, now go drink some water. And calm down" nini says

" ok, thank you " kourtney says then walking back out of the room to get water

I walk back to where I was sitting next to e.j who was looking at the photo album

Ashlynn runs into the room

" oh boy , I say under my breath

" I need starting pitches for something there " she asks nini

Nini hits the two keys on the piano

" okay, I'm thinking of adding some riffs to the song . Like.... I wonder why I didnt see him there before like that " ashlynn says

" wait why? "E.j asks putting the album down

" well because lily did it last night, and It was gently glorious " she answers

" ash, listen to me.you are the best belle I've ever seen , and I've been in this show before " nini says

" thank you. Okay really?okay" ashlynn says running to the other side of the stage

" cast and crew this is your places call." The loud speaker announces

Evryone starts flooding back in

As everyone gets to places the orchestra starts and curtains opens to the beast and belle eating lunch

Natile drags a napkin off the table with a fishing pole

The beast picks it up and hands it to belle

" there something sweet and almost kind but he was mean and he was corse and unrefined and now hes dear and so unsure I wonder why I didn't him there before " belle sings

"She glanced this way I thought I saw and when we touched she didnt shutter at my paw no it cant be I'll just ignore but then shes never looked at me that way before " the beast sang

" new, and a bit alarming whos of ever thought that this could be ?true that's hes no prince charming but thers something in him that I simply didnt see" belle sings

Me, lumiere , Babbett, chip ,and mrs.potts walk out onto the uplifted set

"Well who'd of thought?" Lumiere sings

"Well bless my soul" mrs.potts sings

"Well who'd have known?" I sing

" well who indeed" potts sings again

"And whod of guessed they'd come togather on their own?" Lumiere sings

" it's so peculiar, wait and see , a few days more there may he something there that wasn't there before..." all three of us sing

"Perhaps there's something there that wasnt there before " I sing

" there may be something there that wasnt there before " mrs.potts sings

" what, mama ? What's there?" Chip asks

The music fades out

The crowd cheers and applauds

The lights dim

We walk all walk off stage

" that was amazing " e.j whispers

I smile at him

" Now it's your turn " I say

After the rest of the show it was finally time for the beast transformation
We couldn't find it for the life of us

Evryone was scattering through boxes
And freaking out

" what's wrong?" Miss jen runs in

" my harness is missing. " ricky says

" the new one we got for the transformation. " I say

" what ?no , no , this cant be happening. " miss jen panicks

" it was here ." Natile swears on her life

" what else can I use ?" Ricky asks

" OH FOR HEAVENS SAKE CANT YOU JUST JUMP OFF SOMETHING HIGH?" Miss jen yells

The room goes silent

" no, forget I said that . I will be not here." Miss jen says running out of sight

We all continue to scatter

"I knew something would go wrong" ricky says

" dont say that " I say

"Hey, hey you guys! All of you stop it . Richard let's spin you around without the harnesses, and you can just toss the mask into the wings . Okay just like rehearsal " nini says

" right! Wich I never got right once. And now I'm supposed to do it with one hand. Sorry second acts haven't traditionally been my strong suit ." Ricky says

" well first time for evrything " nini says

" I can spin the table " e.j says

" ooh i can throw snow" carlos suggest

" ya know what, you can throw the mask at my face" I chuckle

" okay, deal " he says

Ricky runs on stage with ashlynn
