/ᐠ > ˕ <マ ₊˚⊹ 𝓟ROJECT: REACH THE STARS (프로젝트: 별에 도달하다) is a 2024 co-ed survival show created by Queen Of Hearts and Mnet, where you will be following 43 trainees from different companies on their journey to debut, where they'll be shown working both with and against each other for a spot in the debut line-up. The survival show is set to have it's first episode out on January 28th, 2025. This is the initial teaser, posted on the official Reach The Stars channel, which came out on December 18th, 2024.

THOUSANDS OF KPOP GROUPS DEBUT EVERY YEAR

BUT ONLY A HANDFUL OF THEM ARE ACTUALLY SUCCESSFUL.

THERE ARE THOSE WHO REACH GLOBAL AUDIENCES

AND THOSE WHO STRUGGLE TO EVEN MAKE ENDS MEET.

NOW, WE ARE GIVING 43 TRAINEES A CHANCE AT SUCCESS...

This industry is shaped out a bit like a game, with everyone following a similar path yet having to make their own decisions that ultimately decide their fate. And every wishful dreamer who decide to take part of this game will be left with one of two outcomes,

either they debut..

The host puts out one hand, flat side up, as if they're holding something.

.. or they dont, and their story is ultimately over.

The host puts out their other hand in the same way.

Here, on this show, during the coming months, we have fourty three trainees who all have the same dream: joining the industry. We, meaning us in the cast, as established idols are going to help these wishful dreamers on their journey to debut... but, of course, only a fraction of them will reach their goal.

The k-pop industry will always remain a game, meant to be played by its players. Not everyone win, and most will end up losing. So... what fate will our players meet?

Once again, the camera cuts to another scene. This time, it shows snippets of interviews with trainees and cast, their identities remaining hidden.

I'm a bit worried... I mean, what if the trainees think I'm mean?

I'm so excited! I've never done something like this before... and, I mean, it sounds so fun!

My goal is, well I mean honestly, to debut? To win, to rank first... or at least in the top trainees.

I think... like, not fully seriously because I do have hope you know, but I think this is going to be my last chance at debuting. You know how, like, the industry mainly consists of minors and young adults, and I think at this point I'm not even counted as a young adult anymore..

I can't decide if what I'm feeling is anxiety or excitement...

I dont think I'll debut, my odds are like... well, I dont know maths, but too many other trainees.

I mean honestly I'm happy to get away from my members for a bit– I mean what! I never said that! JK JK!

My mom would NOT approve... Sheesh!

I personally am excited to host this, together with some friends of course, but that's... enough of me, I'm not the main character here!

The fates of all these aspiring idols is completely in the hands of you, dear viewer. you'll be the ones to decide which of these dreamers end up reaching their dreams, and which ones don't.
