Eddie:"well...this is me."

I trailer my eyes along the rusty trailer. Nothing had changed about it. It was rustler than it was before, but it was still in the same place, the dead flowers were still hung in a plat pot from the circular windows and one of the metal plated number on the door was hanging loose.

Rory:"it's exactly the same as I remember it."

Eddie:"I know I've already said...but I'm really glad your back. Nothing was the same while you were gone."

Rory:"but think of the things we can do now that I'm back. We've already set up the campaign...but, I'm glad too."

Eddie:"I'll see you on Monday."

Rory:"right, Monday."

I unzipped the pockets of my coat and buried them inside. It was a chilly night. A smiled at him for a split second before turning around and walking back home.

Eddie:"later, Rory alden..."

He whispered as I was picking up the pace. He sighed and partially frowned after watching me get further and further away from him. I didn't catch what he'd said because I'd obviously been too far away to hear.

*Monday morning*

I woke up late for school. Great. As soon as I walked into school, I had a feeling that everything would turn bad. Anytime I'd ever woken up late or got into school even a minute late, I was doomed for bad luck for the rest of the day.

My head my hurting, I was still in the clothes I walked Eddie home in a couple hours before. I was exhausted and hanging in by a thread. I had to rush almost very thing I'd normally do in a morning and volt out the door. I missed the bus. My mom was taking the day off and couldn't drive Mr because she was still asleep. So I had nothing else to do but run. I did have a bike, but the front wheel was punctured a while back, and I haven't rode it since. As I'm running down the road, my bag is bouncing up and down on my back with each jolt. My hairs massy, I had a bit of tooth paste on my clothes, my laces were untied, but they normally were anyways, and I forgot to pack my lunch, as well as picking up my keys from the kitchen counter.

I swear, I feel like I'm slowly losing my mind.

I was short of breath, I only just about made it before the school doors were about to close. And I bumped into, none other than, Steve the hair Harrington again.

Steve:"Rory...I should've known it was you. We honestly need to stop meeting like this."

Rory:"sorry, I'm extremely late and I've forgotten a good half of the things I needed for today."

Steve:"go on, I won't keep you."

Rory:"thanks. I'll catch you later though, okay?"

Steve:"yeah..."

I was bolting down the corridors at a rather fast pace, that for a split second, I forgot where I was even going. But our time table repeats weekly. So it's back to chemistry, art and English.

Miss baxter:"miss alden...you're late."

Rory:"I know, sorry."

Miss baxter:"What's your excuse this time?"

Rory:"you want the whole story now?"

Miss baxter:"if it saves you a late mark on your attendance, then yes."

Rory:"my alarm went off late, I missed my bus, my mom was still asleep so I couldn't have her drive me to school and then I had to run here."

Miss baxter:"I'll let you off this time, but don't let it happen again or its a detention."

The Idea rushed straight into my head. I had detention all week. With the two class clowns who were out hunting for me. I just know they wish I was dead.

Rory:"I have detention all week anyways, Miss."

I slouched into my seat, gathered any of the notes I'd made from last lesson and lay them out on my desk. Eddie sat at the front of the room, he had his body turned towards me as he smiled at the state I was in.

*at lunch*

Gilbert:"oh my god, what happened to you?"

Rory:"lack of sleep and a serious migraine, that's what."

Eddie:"honestly, are you okay?"

Rory:"...yeah, I'm just getting school karma."

Eddie:"'school karma'?

Rory:"I think when I wake up late and have bad luck for the rest of the day. It sucks."

Eddie:"sounds like it."

Rory:"oh god."

Gareth:"what?"

Rory:"I've got detention after school today too. With Adam and Doyle."

I let out a loud sigh whilst I could hear the others chuckling in the background.

Gareth:"what? Dumb and dumber? Those bimbos can't even tell their arse from their elbow."

Rory:"sweet of you to say, but they're out for my head. They hate me now. I'm officially doomed for the rest of the academic school year."

Gilbert:"what you'd I'd, it was pretty funny though."

Rory:"and the teachers couldn't even take a joke. They were so serious about it all. I mean, they didn't even listen to what I had to say, the Principal just decided to throw us all in detention."

Gareth:"It was kick ass though. Respect for doing the one thing everyone in this school has wanted to do to those two idiots since middle school. At least someone actually did."

Eddie:"are you gonna eat anything? I didn't see you eat anything at break either."

Rory:"have you see the food here? And besides, I forgot my lunch. I forgot to even make it in all fairness. But I'll be fine."

Eddie:"are you sure?"

Rory:"I promise."

*after lunch now into the last lesson of the day*

The time seemed to go extremely quickly all of a sudden. Last time I remembered I was in English, next minute, I'm half way through English. Absolutely dreading the thought of detention for another hour after school. It was not going to be fun, and I knew nothing good would come of it.
