"Y/n! Please! Notice me!!" Solar practically begged in front of you. "Go away Solar, you're catching a lot of attention!" You whispered to the light wielder.

"But I don't want to leave my darling alone~" he reasoned, clinging into your leg. "G-get off! I don't wanna have another argument with your pathetic fangirls" you stated, pushing him away. After a couple of minutes, you finally pry him out of your leg.

"Come on y/n! Am I not deserving to be your boyfriend? I'm the most handsome guy you know, and basically every girl's dream boyfriend! And yet here you are not taking that chance" he said, holding both of your shoulders. You only looked away with tiny beads of sweat on your forehead, "uhh, can you please move!" You pushed him away from you making him fall into the ground.

"Owww, don't make me fall for somebody else Y/n" he pouted while rubbing his sore back. "Well I hope you fall for- oh wait I hope there's no more gravity! So you won't fall for me anymore!" You barked at him, all the students surrounding you were silent all this time, not that silent really most of them were exchanging murmurs.

"Hmph! Even if there's no more gravity on Earth I'd still fall for you!" He barked back, "just leave me alone Solar!" You practically pleaded for him to stop, but he can't. He's too in love with you, and no one can stop that powerful feeling.

His expression saddened, are you that desperate for him to leave you alone? Are you really that hard to get? Is he starting to become a hindrance?

He lowered his head then said "okay, I'll leave you alone" with that everyone around you gasped.

"He'll give up that so easily?"

"Well he's not to be blamed, Y/n's too complicated. Isn't she happy that solar is courting her"

"Poor Solar"

You heard every rumor they started to spread but decided to ignore every single detail. "Finally-" "If" he cut you off, as he looked into your eyes, forming a smile in his luscious lips. "If you win against my simple bet" he raised his pointing finger, "what kind of bet?" You crossed your arms and cocked up an eyebrow at him. What is he planning now?

"If I make you fall for me within a week, you'll have to be my girlfriend" he explained with a frisky grin "what?! But what if I don't?!" She asked "then I have to leave you alone for the rest of your life. Is it a deal?" He held out his hands for your agreement.

You were still thinking twice about the consequences, but you're fully determined that you'll win so... "Fine, it's a deal" you shook his hands making him smile widely. He just had physical contact with you, and it felt like heaven to him.

Day 1

Y/n's POV
For the whole entire time, Solar has been beside me. Never did he left my sight, except when I'm going to the restroom. Why did I agree to that bet anyway? Oh yeah, so he could leave me alone already.

"There is nothing sweeter than the beauty of your face," he said, looking at me with a dreamy look. "I hope you get cavities then" I muttered, "girl give that guy some attention" my friend b/n whispered. I can only roll my eyes, why does he need to join us even in lunchtime. "Shouldn't you be with your brothers?" I asked bluntly "yup, but I don't want to leave you. You might feel lonely without me~" he stated with a hint of teasing and pity.

"As if. I would rather die than beg for your accompaniment" I clicked my tongue in annoyance. This will be the most irritating week I'll ever experience.

Day 2

Author's POV
Y/n was about to enter her classroom when Solar suddenly appeared in front of her. It made her flinch a bit by his sudden behavior, he held out a bouquet of flowers with a grin plastered in his face.

"For you my sweet~" oh how Y/n wanted to rip out that grin of his. "Thanks?" She tried to ignore him but she needs more ignorance to push this Lighthead away. And as cue Solar would follow Y/n around the school like a guard dog, and basically flirting with her all throughout the day. Boring the day out of her, 'someone save me from this narcissistic retard' she thought.

Day 3

Today's very odd indeed. There's no Solar insight to be seen, what could be the reason for his absence? "Where's your flirty suitor today y/n?" B/n asked, giving you a smug look. "I don't know and I don't care" she answered, she was busy studying for the finals so she doesn't really care if whatever happens to Solar. All she needs to do know is ace this exam.

"Damn it!" She slammed her book on her desk "I couldn't understand these formulas!" She complained, "why don't you ask your smartypants guard dog?" B/n teased "tsk, no way!" "But he might help you, he's the smartest guy in school." Her friend added, she has a point. Solar has inherited Einstein's brain.

"Fine, but if I die! I'll haunt you for life!" Y/n said "yeah I'm sooo scared" b/n sarcastically said. Y/n stood up from her seat and walked out to find a certain light manipulator. "I can't believe I'm doing this, ughh" she groaned.

And finally, she reached her destination, "hi is solar there?" She coldly asked "uh yeah! Solar! Your girlfriend is looking for you~" the boy yelled throughout the room. "I'm not his-" "Y/N!" Solar lunged himself towards the h/c haired female.

"Don't get too excited" she said pushing him away. "You know I was actually feeling a bit OFF today. But when you came to see me you seriously turned me ON" he said hugging the female once again. "You're too... Close".

"So why are you looking for me anyways my sweet?" He asked "uhh, I just need you to help me with this formula" she explained while showing her math book. Solar took a closer look, he snapped his fingers then said "it's very easy all you need to do is subtract the x to the Y and then divide the-" "wait! I'm not getting what you're saying. Can you just teach it to me?" She cut him off.

"Alright, study date it is then. Meet me after class at the library" he said with a wink. "Just study no dates" she said then started to walk away, "thanks!" She yelled still facing her pace. "You're welcome~" he lovingly stated.

(After class)

"Come on Y/n stop slacking off and listen!" Solar scolded, never knew he would this be serious when it comes to studying. "But its boring" she groaned in boredom. "Do you want to pass your exams or not?" He cocked an eyebrow at her with his hands on his hips.

"I want to but... MATH IS BORING!" She yelled gaining a 'shush!' From the librarian. "Math can be useful too you know. Math can blah blah blah" she's beginning to hear incoherent words from him. "Y/n?! Are you even listening?" He asked with a hint of annoyance, 'it's the first time I ever saw him like this' she thought which made her chuckle.

"What's so funny?" He raised an eyebrow at her with his arms crossed. "Nothing hahaha" she giggled, wiping her imaginary tear. "Let's continue our lesson" he said in a serious tone, the two started to write down formulas but time to time Y/n started to slack around.

"I don't really get this!" She moaned, making Solar turn to his side. "What?" He questioned leaning closer to her, "this!" She pointed the tip of her pen towards the question. "Oh it's easy" he took her hand which holds the pen and wrote the formula of the question. Solar was pretty focused on answering the problem, meanwhile, the female was distracted by his looks.

'Damn his face is so close!' She thought, she tried to shrug those wild daydreams but her rapid heartbeat isn't making anything it easy for her. The area was silent and all she could hear is Solar's husky voice. She was captivated by his charm, never thought she'd fall like this.

She shook her head, trying to forget about those thoughts 'come on Y/n! Keep it together!' "Do you understand now?" He asked facing her directly, their faces were inches apart. The female began to lose control of her feelings, her blood rises up into her face. "Gahhh!!" She screamed. She hastily took all of her belongings and ran out of the library "bye thank you!" She lastly yelled and completely left.

Solar was left there, dumbfounded. "What just happened?" He asked himself.

Day 4

"Come on! I'm tired, give me 5 minutes break!" She groaned, they're back at the library again. Studying for the upcoming finals, "you just took a 10 minutes break! No" Solar answered, flipping the page of the book he was holding. "Can I have a tiny treat first?" She pleaded with puppy eyes.

"Alright" Solar answered walking towards her. When out of the blue he kissed her lips, "there, that should do it" he smirked. "H-hey! Y-you c-c-can't j-just kiss m-me l-like t-that!" She stuttered with a blushing face. "You asked for a treat right? Just be glad and accept it. If you don't want it you can always give it back" he flirted.

"B-but-" she attempted to speak normally, but with her mixed-up feelings, she cannot! "Shall we continue our lessons or... Do you want to have a heated session?" He asked seductively. "N-no! C-continue t-the lesson!" She huffed and shoved her face into the book. While Solar was smirking and secretly chuckling.

Day 5

"Pull yourself together Y/n! Don't you ever fall for that lightbulb!" She yelled at the bathroom mirror, good thing she's alone. If she wasn't they would've mistaken her as a psychopath.

"But he's too irresistible!" Her reflection argued, "don't ya remember! We need to win this for us to live in peace!" She barked back. "Just fall for it! He's not so bad" her reflection defended, "yes he is! He just kissed me yesterday! And we're not even in a relationship!" She yelled then the door creaked open.

She averted her gaze at the open door and saw a woman staring at her with curiosity. "Who were you-" "I was talking to myself!" She cut the woman off and ran outside. When all of a sudden she bumped into a couple of girls.

"Well well, if it isn't Y/n L/n. The girl who seduced Solar" the purple-haired female tsked. "I bet your pardon?" Y/n cocked an eyebrow at her, the purple-haired female grabbed her jaw and hoisted her into the air. "O-ow, t-that hurts!" She winced, the antagonist pushed her into the wall.

"You h/c haired freak! Just die!" She yelled and was about to punch her when a hand stopped her actions. "What do you think you're doing to my girl?!" His orange raging eyes darting against the unnamed woman. "S-solar!" They all gasped.

Solar grabbed y/n away from them. They received a deathly glare from light wielder "you're all banned from my fan clubs" his voice became serious and terrifying, scaring their lives out of them. They all ran away with tears in their eyes because they are no longer acceptable to his fan club. Once they were out of sight he pulled the female into his warm embrace.

His left arm wrapped around her neck while his right arm is supporting her back. "Are you alright?" He whispered, his voice full of worry. "Y-yeah" "I'm glad to hear that. I can't imagine myself seeing you hurt" he said, tightening his grasp.

She was surprised to see a new side of him. I guess her reflection was right, he wasn't that bad after all.

Day 6

Finally! It's weekend, time to relax! But except for those students who attend Rintis High. They still have their finals, poor students. After half an hour of taking all of their tests, the teachers started to check their examinations.

Later on, their scores were posted on the bulletin board. Y/n started to skim the piece of paper, looking for her name. Her eyes stopped once she saw her name, and SHE PASSED! Hooray!!

"I... Passed?! B/n! I passed!" She cheered, holding her best friend's both hands while jumping up and down. "We both passed girl!" Her friend cheered, "I can't believe it!" The h/c haired female cupped her face. "Dang girl you should thank your famous suitor for tutoring you" her friend stated with a smug look.

"Yeah, he did help me" she muttered, her cheeks becoming pink. "Ohh~ why are you blushing?" She teased "its nothing!" She quickly answered. "Hi Y/n" another voice said behind the said girl, she turned around and faced Solar who was smiling proudly at her. "I can see that you aced your exams, congrats" he congratulates the female.

"Th-thanks" she shyly stated. "So would you mind going out with me tomorrow? Just think it as your way of saying thanks for helping you study" he bashfully questioned "uh, o-okay" "really?" He asked with a wide grin.

"Y-yeah" she answered "okay then... I'll see you at the bus stop tomorrow at 8 am. Bye!" He said while waving goodbye. She also bid her goodbye, secretly screaming internally. "Ohh~~ y/n lost the bet~" her friend mocked which brought Y/n to smack her head with a flushed face.

Last day

After a long trip down the city, the duo decided to go to the cinemas. The two decided to watch a romantic movie, but because of their juvenility instead of watching the whole film, they ended up having a food fight. Throwing popcorns at each other, eventually, they got kicked out, because they were causing a huge disturbance to the viewers.

They were laughing their lungs out, reminding every detail of what happened earlier. "That man doesn't know how to party" Solar joked "yeah he's a joy killer" she mocked.

Throughout the day the two enjoyed their probably last time to hang out. It's almost evening, the duo was sitting under the huge tree near a cliff. Where they decided to watch the sunset, "the sun's looks so beautiful" she complimented "uhuh just like you" Solar added, making her slight flustered.

"We still have 5 minutes until everything we have will start to fade" he sadly stated, his expression saddened. "Huh? What do you mean?" She questioned "I lost the bet, you didn't fall for me at all. I guess I'm not the perfect guy for you after all" he explained, his voice beginning to crack.

They became silent, Y/n knew she had fallen for him, and yet she doesn't want to confess her true feelings. They stayed like that for 4 minutes "one more minute, do you have something to say Y/n?" He asked, "uh... I... I...

Thanks for being my friend" she answered, even if it's against her. She wanted to put aside her feelings for him, she didn't even think twice what could happen in the future. "Oh, well I'm glad I met you" he said, he stood up and turned his back.

"Well the day is done, and I lost. I hope you have a happy life Y/n. I love you" he sadly stated and left her. Once he was out of her sight, there she bursts out her tears. Why didn't she say I love you too?
Why does it hurt so bad? Isn't this what she wanted? For him to leave her alone? But why does it feel so wrong?

"I'm sorry Solar... I'm sorry I lied... I actually love you" she whispered into the cold breeze.

"Ha! I knew it! You would fall eventually!" His voice was full of happiness, she turned around with tears in her eyes. Her eyes widened seeing Solar behind the tree, "I knew something was up. And I was right! You love me" he teased, "Solar" she cried and ran to him.

"O-oh s-sorry did I make you cry?" He cupped her face, wiping her tears with his thumb. "I'm sorry" he apologized, hugging her like he never wanted to let go. "You idiot" she sobbed "don't cry now my sweet." He said lovingly caressing his head. "I love you Y/n" he whispered, she was silent, he pulled away and checked her "where-" he was cut off once her lips landed on hers.

There they shared a blissful kiss under the darkening sky. She pulled away and said "there's my answer"
