Thunderstorm x reader

It's February 14 (author-chan: just imagine it's February 14) and you know what that means? Flowers, chocolates, and gifts are being sold on the streets even at school premises. And of course, this is the time of the year where couples show up everywhere being lovey-dovey and stuff. And to you this is just another lonely day, you were a high school student at the Rintis High, to everyone high school is the best school year for any students out there. But to your own point of view it's not, well it's because you've been alone ever since you were a freshman. Nobody dared to be friends with you because you're a nerd, to others you're just an invisible student.

Every day you had to walk to school alone no one to accompany you but ever since you've been detecting someone following you but you decided not to care. "Hey, are you going to confess to that boy you like?" You heard a girl whisper to her friend, 'confessions huh?' You thought. You remembered when you tried to confess to this boy you like when you were a freshman, you worked hard to make him notice you even if it means embarrassing yourself. But in the end? He rejected you.

Le flashback

"J-jason! I-i like you!" You handed out an envelope with a heart sticker on it. While the said boy was just standing in front of you, he took it from your hands making you shock and smile. But was quickly exchanged with a frown and some tears when he tore your letter apart and said "sorry but. I'm not interested in some ugly looking like you" he teasingly smirks while the people around you started gossiping.

"Tsk pathetic, she thinks she's good enough for Jason? She wishes" "yeah. I would agree if she dated another nerd like her." "I'm so sorry for her parents. Having an ugly being like her"

You heard everything they said making your heart sank. You ran away and tried to move on from the scenario that happened.

End of flashback

'I'll never love again' you thought then walked to your class. Your head lowered not wanting to look at the students around you, you could hear some girls confessing their love and some boys saying some dumb pick-up lines to the girls around you. You just wished this day could end already, all of a sudden you bumped into a person making the books in your hand drop on the cold floor. "Watch where you're going" the boy hissed, you look up to see thunderstorm glaring at you. Out of all people it just had to be this popular stoic teen.

You were about to grab your books when he suddenly gathered them before you could take them. After taking them all he gave you the books with no sentence coming out from his mouth and left. "Well that's unusual" you mumbled and could feel some intensifying glares from his fangirls. You were about to leave when unawares a group of ugly looking sluts, "if it isn't the bitch who tried to confess Jason last year" Hazel said (yes you're a second-year high school here) "Back of Hazel I don't like that idiot no more" you stated walking pass her but was blocked by her other companions. "So now you're targeting Thunderstorm? Ha! You wish. Girls take her behind the school" she said then they grabbed your arm, as you struggled to get out from their grasp. Hazel raised her hand and slapped you, making a huge slap noise (don't remember what it's term is hehe). "That'll teach her"

"Oi! Thunder!" Cyclone yelled at his twin brother "what now?!" He hissed coming closer to the wind manipulator. "I got some details about the girl you were talking about," he said handing him some papers about Y/n. "Thanks," he said, Cyclone wrapped an arm around him and said "dude, promise me you won't be a yandere alright? I'm already okay with you being a tsundere" he teased making the lightning manipulator smack his head.

"Stop talking nonsense. I just need some information" he said secretly blushing "yeah right. Talk about stalking her every day. Why don't you just confess to her already! I know you like that Y/N girl" he said. But was only replied by silence "Come on thund. It's Valentine's Day, try to act like a lovable guy" he said, eyes closed arms crossed above his chest. "Thund?" He opened his eyes and saw no one "tsk tsk tsk. That guy"

(Meanwhile)

Y/n's body was leaning on the wall, her body badly beaten, and some visible bruise on her arm. "That's a lesson for you. Learn to know what your place is L/n" Hazel said dusting her hands. They left your injured body, not caring about the fact that you could die by their punishment to you. You could only cry, hugging your legs closer to your chest, "am I just a mistake?" You asked yourself.

Ever since you started to go to school the only thing you experienced is loneliness. You realized no one really wants your presence, maybe even if you die no one would care. Except for your parents, "I should just disappear from this world. At least if I go to hell I'll be used to it. Heck, my life is already a living hell." You sobbed, picking up yourself and carefully dragging your injured body to the rooftop. Good thing it's valentine's day, classes are suspended but you're still required to go to school for the program.

"Good thing you knocked that girl out. If not she would have been another nuisance to us" Hazel's companion said. "Yeah that Y/N is a bitch" she said they were presently walking on the corridor when a boy with red orbs blocked their way. "T-thunder!" Hazel stuttered by the boy's sudden appearance. He rapidly grabbed her neck and pushed her to the wall making a large crack, choking her to death "What did you do to Y/N?!" His cold voice sent shivers to her spine, she didn't answer making him choke her more. She was about to lose her breath when someone from her group yelled: "HAZEL BEAT HER OUT!" This made Thunderstorm enraged, he threw Hazel aside and dashed throughout the school building to find you.

You were now standing on the end of the railing, ready to fall for your death. You inhaled your final breath and jumped. You could feel the wind following the sync of your fall, you awaited for the cold floor to catch your body but nothing happened. You only felt someone carrying you, "YOU IDIOT! WHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO DO?! KILL ME OUT OF WORRY?!" You opened your eyes to be met by thunderstorm's electrifying eyes. He let you stood up and hugged your fragile body, "what were you thinking?" He mumbled you noticed students were looking at you two, even his brothers were there.

He pulled away from the hug and checked you. He cupped your face then hugging you again, you're totally frozen and your brain is still processing to what position you're in. "Y/n you're an idiot" you cocked up an eyebrow, "are you worried about me, or are you here to annoy me?" You asked he looked at you, he cups your face with a smile on his lips. Your eyes suddenly widen when he smacked his lips into yours, making the other students gasp. "OHH~~ THAT'S OUR THUNDER!" Cyclone yelled cheering for his brother.

And the other elements also cheered, soon you found yourself kissing back. You couldn't understand but you felt happiness, his kiss made you feel like you're not lonely anymore. You felt...... Being loved.

You pulled away and formed a small smile, "Y-y/n I love you." He confessed, his other fangirls yelled "WHAT?!". You couldn't say anything, you were speechless, no words can't describe what you're feeling right now. But still, you're scared that this could be just a huge prank, that this could be just a lie. "I..."

"Believe him Y/N. He's been stalking you since last year. And he had your information" Cyclone yelled, thunder glared at Cyclone, he just told Y/n what thunder's been doing. "I-is it true?" You asked the lightning manipulator, he quickly looks away hiding his blush using his collar. "I-is it weird?" He muttered, you instinctively wrapped your hands around him, he was taken aback by your gesture but soon as possible he hugged back. "I love you too"

"THUNDERSTORM'S GOT A GIRLFRIEND!" Cyclone exclaimed announcing the new couple. "SHUT UP!" Blaze smacked his brother's head, he rubbed his sore head with a pout. "You guys are so mean" he whined. You both laughed at them then looked at each other, having another hugging session.

At least now you have a new reason to live... And that is Thunderstorm.
