𝑫𝑬𝑳𝑬𝑨𝑯 sat in her bed feeling a wave of sadness hit her once again. the past to weeks of Leah's life was hell, like how in the matter of two weeks her life hit a whole u-turn. it all started Friday night.

" hey Leah baee" jsani said indicating for the girl to come sit at her chair, 𝐉𝐒𝐀𝐍𝐈 was Leah's aunt they talked often but not too much maybe twice a month.

" hey titi " Leah said taking a seat in the salon chair as she got comfortable knowing she was gone be there for a while . "how's my baby been?" sani asked as she got her tools ready. " I'm good. hows honest?" spoke returning a question .

" bad as hell speaking of can you babysit? i know you have a boyfriend and all but please" sani begged Leah ain't have nothing to do and she loved watching the little girl she was always over Leah house anyways. what could go wrong?

" she's not bad y'all just be too lame for her. but yeah ill babysit" Leah remarked as jsani started parting her hair in sections prepping it.

" when i'm done just pick her up from grandma house" sani said as mixed the substances for the silky effect on her hair. Leah just nodded 'yes' in response as she watched wig install videos on TikTok.

" you can drive right?" sani asked with a concerned face as Leah broke into laughter, " girlluh" the girl drug out before with laughter in her tone.

it was true Leah could drive at least way better than dd.

𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐇 spun in the salon chair as her aunt was finally letting her see the results in the big body mirror across from them.

" stop wait, auntie you ate down" Leah remarked as she ran her fresh acrylics through her silky hair. "i know, i know. yo auntie just like dat" the older woman said hyping herself up as she started putting away her tools.

Leah playfully rolled her eyes before grabbing her iPhone taking little videos and pics. " thank you titi. ima go get honest" Leah said smiling before standing up hugging the older woman.

"bye baby " jsani said hugging the girl before placing a small kiss on the girl's forehead.

Leah had walked out of the building immediately getting hit by a cold breeze. "damn its cold" Leah thought crossing her arms as she walked to her car.

"i'm finna go get my cousin" Leah said as she adjusted the drivers seat, " put your pretty face in the camera" notti spoke slightly mugging the screen.

"fix ya face" Leah said she set the phone up to where you could see her face. "why you ain't tell me you got ur hair done all dem stank line backer built bitches gone be all on you now" notti said fake sobbing .

Leah started laughing as she sat up properly before she started driving. " Leah the kids miss you come homee" notti spoke dragging out his words.

" what kids!" Leah said laughing.
notti had took a picture of Leah as she was mugging the car in-front of her, "Ethan, word to my dead's I'm finna hang up on your ugly ass if you take one mo picture of me".

"anyways" Leah said turning up her music as she sung the lyrics to 'wicked witch' by nardo wick.

Leah pulled into the driveway of her grandmother house to get her niece. the girl walked into the house immediately getting hit with the smell of sea food.

"hey grandma" Leah waved at the older woman as she walked into the kitchen, " hey baby where yo momma at?" Justine the girl's grandmother greeted her.

" work" Leah replied taking a seat at the table, "mm, well honest should be upstairs getting her bag" Justine said cutting up some peppers before turning to actually see Leah.

"oh my god, girl why you ain't tell me you got so big" the older woman gasped making Leah laugh."look just like yo momma, you got a boyfriend?" the woman said curiously as she wiped her hands with a napkin.

"thank you grandma, and yeah i got a boyfriend" Leah replied before the two exited out the kitchen to the living room. " I'm ready Leah!" 𝐇𝐎𝐍𝐄𝐒𝐓 said as she stood close in front of the older girl.

Leah was looking at a message from an unknown number. she was genuinely confused who was texting her but she ain't answer so she waited.

" oh hey honest. you ready?" Leah said snapping out of her thoughts,
"mhm!" －Leah had grabbed the pink hello kitty backpack from the smaller girl as the two left.

" okay wanna go get some McDonald's before we go get naomi?" Leah said as she buckled her seatbelt with honest sitting the in the passenger's seat strapped in tight due to her only being six.

the two made their way to pick up naomi from her volleyball practice before stopping to get food. "𝐋𝐀𝐘𝐘 my man hugged me!" naomi excitedly yelled as she got in the car.

" which one?" Leah said joking as she started driving once again, naomi had deadpanned Leah before answering.

"so how's you and notti?" naomi said while eating her fries they just got. "where good" Leah stated giving her undivided attention to her younger sister. "have you talked to Nyasia?" naomi questioned. "no ion fuck wit her, but maya said she gon join the sleep over" Leah remarked pulling into the driveway of their house.

"tj where's mami?" Leah said as let go of honest hand walking into the kitchen. "she came in for exactly two hours left all dressed up i think she talking to a nigga" tj said as he came in the kitchen standing next to her collecting his food.

despite tj was only twelve he was taller than Leah and naomi so he automatically thought he was the man of the house. " no duh dipshit" naomi sassed before opening the door revealing maya .

honest and naomi already got comfortable on the couch watching barbie. "y'all cool down here for a bit?" Leah asked as the two nodded and continued eating as her and maya trotted up the stairs to her room.

"girl you know this number?" Leah asked as she passed her phone off to maya while she changed into some nike pros and a hoodie. "uhm no why they texting you. also love the hair" maya said. "thank you and i don't know i haven't answered it" Leah said sitting next to the girl on the bed.

"ou lets text em" maya suggested as she munched on one of Leah's nuggets while the two did so.
