Dream POV

I watch Nightmare leave on one of her mysterious adventures. I wonder where she's going this time.

After a few hours, she still hasn't returned. I decide to set off and find her, even if she doesn't want me to follow.

I'm pretty sure she headed South.

I throw on my usual dark green hoodie and armor. I put the elytra on under my cloak and fasten the mask to my head.

After passing forests and plains, I come to a large desert.

Not a desert, a country, with buildings?

As I get closer, I hear voices. Slowing to a stop, I hide behind a large building and peer around the edge.

Quackity is fighting with Foolish, both of them yelling.

"I'm not just you test monkey!" Foolish screams. "Is that all I was to you?! I did so much to help you build Las Nevadas!"

"Yes, and since you barely fought in the war, the least you can do is help me!" Quackity slams his axe down onto Foolish's shield.

"It's not about helping! It's about be experimented on to recreate undying! You can't steal the undying from me! It was given to me by the god"

"Then I can take it out" Quackity says with a smile.

Behind the large statue of DreamXD, I see a dark mask peek out and then withdraw again.

She's here. What is she doing?

I point towards the fight and pull out my sword. She pulls out hers as well and gives me a "wait" sign with her hand.

I decide to wait for her signal and then jump in. My whole body is itching to kill Quackity but I remember my promise to Sapnap.

"If we ever end up fighting them, let me kill Quackity, he abandoned Karl and I, I want revenge"

"Understood" I smirked. "I'll let you have your vengeance"

I want vengeance on Quackity, Sapnap wants vengeance on Quackity, and Nightmare wants vengeance on Quackity.

As the fight continues, Quackity splashes Foolish with a potion and jumps back.

"Ahhhh!" Foolish staggers back covering his eyes. "You used a blindness potion?!"

"Yes," Quackity advances with an evil smile. "You weren't willing to come willingly so I guess I'll have to take you by force"

Foolish blindly lunges out and tries to swing at Quackity but of course, he misses.

Quackity chuckles and pulls out two more potions.

Both splash at Foolish's feet and I watch the particles fly around him.

Poison and weakness.

Foolish collapses to the ground. Quackity's steps over him with a smile and reaches over to tie his hands together.

I glance over at the statue and Nightmare is gone from her spot.

Where do she go?

Quackity pulls out a rope and gets his ready to tie it around Foolish's wrists.

A hand reaches down from behind and grabs the rope, twisting out of his grasp and wrapping it around his neck.

Quackity jumps back in surprise and the rope releases. He throws it to the ground and glares at Nightmare.

"Nightmare?" He asks. "What are you doing here?"

"Could ask you the same" She twirls her sword. "I came here to have a chat with Foolish"

"Well, I also came for a chat with Foolish"

"Looks like more than a chat" she glances at Foolish's unconscious form.

"Did you hear what we were talking about?"

"Maybe"

"Then I'll have to kill you for it"

Quackity brings his sword down but Nightmare is faster and dodges the blade. She drives her own sword into his calf.

He staggers back, bleeding.

I splash a strength, a fire resistance, a regeneration potion, and a swiftness potion on the ground under me.

My sword makes contact with Quackity's and he pulls back in surprise once again.

"What? Dream!"

"Hello" I smile. "Lovely seeing you on this fine day"

"It would be, if you weren't here" he snarls getting into a battle position.

"Well that's too bad" I smirk letting my shield take some of the hits. "I could say that you ruin my day too, what do you think of that?"

"Not surprised" he huffs and lunges again.

I see out of the corner of my eye, Nightmare take Foolish's arm and pearl away.

I need to buy her as much time as possible.

"So Quackity," I decide to toy with him a bit. "How's Sam?"

"Haven't seen him" Quackity says with a shrug. "I assume he's back at his base, wherever it is"

"Hmmm okay" I smirk.

"Why are you asking?"

"No reason" I lie.

"There's always a reason with you. What is it?"

"Nothing, I just thought that you would like to pay him a visit, that's all"

"Well he did betray you in the war, but I'm assuming you know that" He shoots an arrow but I dodge it easily.

"Yeah, I heard about that. I paid him a visit though"

"What do you mean "visit"?"

"Hm," I reach into my pocket and pull out Sam's warden watch and drop it onto the sand.

Quackity pushes me back a bit and stares.

"What have you done with him?" He says in a near whisper.

I laugh.

"What have you done with him?!"

"You can find out at his summer island"

Quackity glares at me and turns around.

"Hey! Where did Foolish go? Where did Nightmare go?"

"Hmmm well maybe they both disappeared"

"Where are they?" He growls, putting the sword under my chin.

I smile and put my hands up.

"Nowhere"

A sword comes down from behind and knocks his away. Nightmare walks to me and places a hand on my shoulder.

"Done" she whispers.

Quackity gets to his feet, swearing.

"I could have became immortal!" He yells. "All I needed was Foolish's undying"

"You can't just steal it from people!" I yell.

"Well you certainly don't have to worry about that do you? You have your precious Revival Book in your head"

"I do" I smile.

"Quackity get out here" Nightmare pulls out her crossbow.

I pull out mine too.

We both rain arrows down on him and watch him flee.

"I wish I could kill him" I say.

"Me too" she glances at the sunset. "But I

"Sapnap is"

"I would have guessed Karl but okay"

"Well, Sapnap will be avenging Karl for what Quackity's done to both of them"

"I see" she smiles and lifts her mask up.

"I just hope that Quackity will get a fitting punishment in the end"

"Oh he will" I lift my mask and place a kiss on her forehead. "We'll make sure he does if Sapnap doesn't"

Super sorry that I haven't updated in two days. I went snowboarding and I'm still so tired, plus I had writers block.

The story has to end soon and I have planned the ending, and possibly a sequel 👀, but I have to figure out how to connect the events.

I also need to start a new book soon but the end of this one won't be for at least 15 more chapters.
