[Author's POV]

The dark room was where some people were sitting and talking about something. Rowan sat in the table's head chair, his blank eyes looking somewhere but his mind was carefully listening to what the other council members were saying.

"How long will we have to wait? We need to get started as soon as possible." Rowan closed his eyes as he heard the exact words from them again. They had been arguing about the same issue for a long time.

"Not until we find them." Mavka slammed her palm against the table for the nth time and argued the same point. She was tired of telling them how important it was to kill them all at once, but they were all against her.

"Oh, Mavka, come on. Do you believe they'd be alive? They must have died." Mavka focused on the man who had given this point from the start.

"Do you have any evidence?" Mavka questioned him, her eyes darting toward him. That guy scoffed and rolled his eyes and said.

"What more evidence do you require? It's fairly obvious." Mavka narrowed her eyes and said quietly.

"No, it isn't. We can't take any serious steps until we find their bodies. Otherwise, it will only become disastrous for us."

Mavka said her final words before she left the room, at an angry pace. Rowan kept staring at all of them with poker faces.

Well, he was also agreeing with Mavka but, he had a different reason. He just wanted to torture him more, until he gets satisfied.

Rowan came here after leaving the same boring room filled with the same arguments every day, but he hates coming here because he hates seeing his face, which had a totally unaffected expression on it like he doesn't have any effect if Rowan came there. No anger and no frustration.

Opening the door of the dark cell, he entered the cell, where only the sound of chains can be heard only.

Chains which were capturing two guys, which were now the main topic of their arguments. Ignoring the other guy, Rowan approached the most important person in the room.

"My respectful lord, it's been a while..." Rowan smirked, his gaze fixed on the messed-up man in front of him.

Hands were chained to the walls using metal chains spelled with dark magic. Andrius's legs were also bound. The dried blood had stained the worn-out shirt that Andrius wore. Andrius was a complete mess.

Rowan, on the other hand, is constantly astounded by his ability to maintain his cool in this chained situation.

He'd never seen him become enraged or lash out at them, and none of them had ever attempted to flee this place. Andrius would remain silent in the face of any of their actions or provocative words.

"You're both chained here, and yet you both always mess with my mind." Rowan moved around him, while Andrius remained silent.

"I'm having trouble deciding on an auspicious date for your death." Rowan told him as he finally stood behind Andrius and stabbed him in the back with a knife.

Andrius didn't move an inch, but he exhaled and closed his eyes. Not only Rowan but also Andrius was sick of his cowardliness.

He'd always stab him in the back. But, as usual, he chooses not to respond. Rowan drew the knife from his back and stared at the wound, which healed and vanished in an instant.

Rowan wonders how, if his healing power is this powerful even after being chained and confined in this spelled cell, he and Austin have never tried to flee. He simply cannot digest this.

He sometimes believes that they are not the ones who have imprisoned him here, but that he has chosen to be here and that he can leave at any time.

Rowan approached him and examined his face, which was as usual blank. He didn't look like the Andrius they remembered until he was captured here.

Andrius was a cunning man who always allowed his opponents to misinterpret his expression. He wouldn't even let anyone know what he was planning.

Rowan had heard from other people who had known Andrius for a long time that his cocky nature had vanished somewhere. The ever-present smirk on his face prevented anyone from guessing what Andrius's next move would be.

Andrius stood calmly as Rowan considered what he could do to provoke a different reaction from him. Rowan had the thought after a brief moment and decided to act on it after hearing rumors about Andrius being a little possessive of his little wife.

"Syed told me a lot about your woman..." Those words provoked a small reaction from Andrius, who had been staring at the ground until now, but his glare was drawn to Rowan just as he finished his sentence.

His glare was clearly telling him that if he spoke a single word against his wife then he would regret it, so he better not say anything. However, Rowan wanted to provoke him, so he did and dared to do it.

Rowan stood directly in front of him, staring back at him, and continued speaking. "After that, I sometimes wonder how her soul would taste-"

RATTLE!!

Rowan's words are interrupted in the middle of a sentence when he notices Andrius standing directly in front of him. Rowan's expression showed how astounded he was. Enraged, Andrius stood in front of him, almost breaking the chains from the walls.

Those chains were halting Andrius's progress, and Rowan could see the rage beneath his eyes. His veins were practically bulging as he struggled to break free from the chains.

Rowan was frozen for a brief moment, frozen in the fear he felt when he looked Andrius in the eyes. After a brief moment, he took two steps back to compose himself and stared at Andrius.

"GUARDS!" Rowan yelled, and a few guards appeared outside the cell after hearing his call. "Chain him up!" Rowan yelled that order and exited the cell, as Andrius kept staring at his retreating figure and those guards chained him up tightly.

As they finished their work, the guards, who were still terrified of Andrius and his rage, left the cell. Austin was obviously seeing everything clearly.

This guy has no enmity toward him, but his existence is why they've kept him in the cell, so they can kill all four of them at the same time.

"How long will we be staying here? I'm starting to get bored." Austin sighed and asked him the same question he had asked him in prison. Andrius closed his eyes and took a deep breath to let go of his rage at Rowan's words.

He clearly knew he was only trying to provoke him, and he was successful. Andrius, on the other hand, quickly composed himself, knowing that this is not his time right now.

"Just a few more days." That was his response before Andrius closed his eyes and went into deep thought, as was his daily work here. Austin already knew the reason for his response.

After all, they've both been in this cell for the past 6 months for a reason...

Six months ago, after Rowan threw a spear at Andrius, he became unconscious. Not long after, they discovered Austin and used the same spear on him, and he had the same effect as Andrius.

They all got the half-demons, but not their women. When they discovered the two guys, they lost them. They decided to find those girls from anywhere because they had decided to kill all four of them together. When they couldn't find them, they decided to take a different route.

However, there was a major stumbling block, or more accurately, a shocking event that prevented them from finding the girls.

The entire mansion of Andrius, as well as the entire territory, was burned to ashes...

Nothing remained but the lifeless ground covered in ashes. They came to Andrius's house after a day of being captured, but they only received ashes. At first, they couldn't figure out what had happened so suddenly.

They tried asking Andrius, but getting an answer from him that he doesn't want to give is impossible. They couldn't get answers from Andrius and Austin even after a week of torture and hard work.

How are they going to get their answers? When they don't have any weaknesses in their hands,  instead they are finding them. And only Andrius and Austin are aware of their location.

After months of searching, the council members claimed that they had both died. But only Mavka disagreed on this point.

She wanted proof to at least believe the girls were dead, but other members were not on her side. They simply wanted to put an end to the problem known as half-demons as soon as possible.

"Can't you all try to find them again, or at the very least bring their dead bodies to me if you all believe they're dead?!?" They were arguing about whether or not to kill Andrius and Austin, and Mavka was once again against them.

"Fine. I'll send my men to find them." One of the members informed her and signaled to the others to remain calm. Mavka sighed, finally realizing that someone was there to think, not to kill some trouble in hurry.

"I'm tired of her." After Mavka had left the room, that man grumbled quietly rubbing his temples with his fingers.

He was not entirely on her side, but he put on that act just to keep her quiet. But that didn't mean they were going to change their minds. They will kill both Andrius and Austin tomorrow evening. The sooner the better.

Rowan agreed as well. He could have tortured Andrius even more if he had wanted to. But it appears that the beating has had no effect on that man.

Despite exposing him to every possible imagined form of torture, he hadn't heard a whimper from him in the last 6 months. Rowan felt like he was still losing even though Andrius was in his grasp and couldn't move an inch on his own.

Even if they move an inch, those shackles give painful electric shocks to both of them. It was Rowan's idea to torture Andrius because he, too, had been through this ordeal solely because of him.

But it appears that Andrius has gotten accustomed to this thing and it no longer bothers him. But, seeing him not screaming in pain, even for a brief moment, made Rowan hate him and his existence even more.

I just want to kill him...

Rowan decided to tell Andrius the good news, so he went to his cell, where Andrius was looking down and not saying anything.

He was a total mess. Dirty hair, a bloody ripped shirt, and his clothes were a complete mess all over his body. He clearly looked like a prisoner here, but he didn't appear to be affected by his treatment.

They expected him to lose some of his power or weight after so much torture and pain, but he was as strong and powerful as ever. Giving him wounds was pointless because he had a strong healing ability and all of his injuries healed in minutes.

He really should be dead...

"Are you done cursing me?" Rowan's thoughts were interrupted when Andrius's voice boomed in the silent cell. Andrius raised his charcoal eyes to him and said the following words.

"Spit out whatever nonsense you want to say." Rowan clenched his jaw in rage as Andrius glared at him. He marched up to him, clutching his neck tightly.

"Then listen to this nonsense very carefully." Rowan sneered, clutching his neck in his palm, but Andrius appeared unaffected by his act.

"You only have 24 hours left. Enjoy it to the fullest. Because you will die in front of every demon tomorrow evening. And... we'll celebrate your death as if it were a festival. It's my promise to you."

Rowan then punched Andrius in the face, turning his face to the other side and spitting out a small amount of blood. Rowan took a deep breath of rage and exited the cell.

Austin was noticing everything with his narrowed eyes, and when Rowan left, he looked at Andrius, who had a smirk on his face.

Austin was perplexed for a moment, but he soon realized why he was smiling as if he had won something. He took a deep breath after realizing why he was smiling so broadly.

"It appears that we will be leaving this place soon." Looking at Andrius, Austin made a remark. Andrius's smile widened as he said.

"Yes, exactly as he said... in 24 hours..." Austin could not help but feel relieved. He didn't want to stay here any longer than was absolutely necessary. And the day had finally come for them to leave this place.

Just another 24 hours...

"Never thought a day would come when a mere demon like him would tell you when you were going to die... " Andrius opened his eyes and looked in front of him, expecting to see a familiar face who would occasionally come here to see him. Andrius responded with a smile to his words.

"I'm allowing him to believe..." In response, that man gave him a slight smile, and the next second, Andrius asked him the same question he had every time he came here. "How's she doing, Drexel?" Drexel responded with the same assuring smile.

"She's all right." Andrius gave him a small glare for his repeated response. He never told him anything specific about her.

When Andrius questioned Drexel about her, he stated that he had never met her and had only heard of her. Andrius wanted to ask him more detailed questions, but he let it slide because he was finally going to meet her in a day.

"She would have been better if you would've been with her..." Drexel said this, but Andrius, as his best friend, understood that he was asking about the real intent behind his strange plan. Andrius smiled as he remembered some old memories of her responding to him.

"I'm just fulfilling a promise I made to her." Drexel smiled at him, knowing how much he adored his love.

He is, after all, no less than Andrius. After all, Drexel has gone completely insane over his lover.

"Take care of her for one day." Andrius explained that it was more like a request to a friend. Drexel only smiled and walked away after a few words.

"She's waiting for you." Andrius looked at Drexel to see that he was nowhere to be found, but there was a dark smoke in the air that also vanished as if it hadn't been there at all.

Just then, two guards appeared, as if they had discovered something suspicious. Andrius's lips curled into an unnoticeable smile as he noticed them attempting but failing to find his presence.

Drexel is not an easy creature to track down. When those guards thought there was no one there.

"Has he gone insane from fear of death?" One of the guards mocked, and then both of them left, making fun of Andrius.

When they heard him speaking something, they hurriedly came there thinking that someone had come to save him, but when they found no one there, they thought as if Andrius was talking to himself.

Andrius ignored them all for the time being, knowing that only a day remained before they would all be regretting whatever they had done.

The night went by, and the evening came when all the demons would witness Andrius's death. Andrius was unsettled before the evening arrived for unknown reasons.

The guards were making fun of him again, thinking he was finally afraid of his own death. While Austin was noticing all of these things and imagining what all of these people would go through in the next few hours.

Andrius was inhaling deeply while clutching the chains in his palms. The shock that those chains were giving him had no effect on him. He was simply lost in his own thoughts and nervousness.

Before bringing both Andrius and Austin directly to the place where those people were going to behead them in front of all the demons, a few guards arrived and chained them even more tightly, so they couldn't move or attempt any stunts on their way.

The sky had turned orange, indicating that the dark night would soon overtake everyone standing there. There was a large crowd of demons standing in front of a stage, where Andrius and Austin were kneeling down like prisoners sentenced to death. They were surrounded by council members.

"TODAY!! We're beheading these two half-blood demons!" Logan began his declarations in an assertive tone, while Austin internally rolled his eyes at Logan's confidence.

Austin despised every member of the council. They all took his peace and forced him to leave his love. He was certain that he was going to kill all of these council members with his own hands.

Logan kept insulting them in front of everyone, calling them dangerous and big cheaters. Andrius, who had been anxious and had his eyes tightly closed, was now looking calmer and more serious about the situation.

"SHOULD WE KILL THEM?" In response to Logan's question, the demons grumbled 'yes' in a loud tone, as they awaited the moment when their bodies would be severed from them.

A loud voice interrupted them as the man wielding a ryyk blade swung his blade up to sever their heads. They all turned around to see Mavka standing there, her face filled with shock and horror.

"Stop right now!" Mavka yelled angrily and terrified at them. The members of the council gave her a frustrated look, but they had no idea what news she was going to give him.

"Don't start an argument, Mavka. They're going to be killed today and right now." Mavka turned to face Logan after hearing his words.

"You stupid man, do you have any idea what this cunning creature has done?" Mavka hurled insults at Logan, but only Andrius and Austin could sense the fear behind her rage. But Andrius had enough of everyone blabbering.

"He... ek!" Mavka felt as if her neck was being clutched in a tight grip just as she was about to say something important. There was no one nearby who could clutch her neck like that, so she quickly realized who was doing it.

"Stop talking already!" Andrius's voice echoed throughout the place, shocking everyone as he stood up easily, breaking all the chains that bound him. It's more like he chose to stay that way until the right time came for him to show his real power.

Andrius stood there as if the previous six months of torture had been nothing to him. He stood as tall and powerful as he always has, and Austin stood beside him in the same manner. He was also unaffected by the torture they subjected them to.

Andrius's dark gaze was fixed on Mavka, who was spitting blood from her mouth. Andrius was torturing her internal organs while preventing her from speaking. The time has come for him to show everyone standing here their place and return to his love, his butterfly, his Arima.

Rowan was stunned and perplexed by the situation. Andrius's sudden act shocked him as well because he had never imagined that the unimaginable torture they had inflicted on him would have had no effect on him at all.

They cut his body parts, burned him, cut him, stabbed him, but looking at him now, it appeared that the things they made him go through were all in his head and nothing of the sort happened. Andrius didn't appear tired or weak.

After seeing Andrius like this, the place devolved into utter chaos. Standing strong in his mighty glory. In the midst of all this chaos, he noticed Andrius slowly killing Mavka. Mavka definitely knows something that Andrius does not want the rest of the world to know.

Mavka made a loud cracking sound, more specifically her bones did as they cracked. Andrius turned away from the falling body of Mavka and back to the crowd, while Austin faced the council members. Seeing an opportunity, he approached Mavka and asked her barely alive self.

"Say what you were about to say right now." Rowan inquired, but Mavka was barely alive. Rowan slapped her face slightly and forced her to speak up about what she was about to say before collapsing.

"Ch-" Mavka's lips moved in a whisper, but it was inaudible to
