[Author's POV]
With a dull face and helplessness in her eyes, Arima was sitting in front of the mirror, in the same situation she was, before a few days.
It was her marriage today, with that demon. And she had understood that he had made sure that she won't get a chance to run away from him now, like last time.
The security around the place was very tight, even, he had appointed female guards outside the bride's room.
Now, she was not able to think about running away, she was scared that he would hurt her parents if she tried to. The thing she was worried about was her future.
Will she be able to live her life like a normal person?
Will he let her attend college and complete her studies?
All these questions were running through her mind. She was in her world when the makeup artist said something.
"You look so beautiful, ma'am." She complemented her to which she gave her a short smile, without any emotion.
She could not. She was not happy with this marriage. She can never be, while she is being forced to do.
"I must say, your future husband loves you a lot." The woman applying powder on her face said again breaking her thought.
Her words now caught her attention. She knew and she had realized it, too, that those words of her were not wrong.
Arima had realized now, that Andrius loves her truly, or she could say, he is obsessed with her all by his heart that he is ready to cross all limits to have her.
However, that is the thing she does not want. She does not want an obsessional demonic jerk behind her.
He had only forced her to do things that he wanted, she don't know what will he do after marriage-
After marriage?
That single thought made her stop thinking all other thoughts and just focused on tonight. Because it will be their wedding night. That single thought scared her thinking about what he will do tonight.
Will he force me? Will he use his rights as my husband on me forcefully?
That alone thought was making her scared as she could feel her heart beating very fast in fear.
I won't ever touch you without your will
Those words of his unknowingly gave her relief. But, it should not. Then why she is trusting his words like this.
"Arima..." Feeling the warm hand of her mother on her shoulder she came out of her thoughts.
"If you still want to run-" Arima stopped her placing her hands on her hand which was placed on her shoulder.
"It's no use, Mumma. He doesn't intend to let me leave him." Helplessness was clear in her tone.
"But, he does not love you." Her mother said to her.
He does love me.
She said in reply to her mother's words but did not say it.
She knew he loves her, in his demonic way, he is claiming her. And his demonic ways are not likable to her. But, she does not why, somewhere, she felt that he won't hurt her.
All the time they have spent with each other, he never hurt her physically, not even when he was on the verge of losing his mind in anger.
"Ma'am. It's time to go." Those words of the female guard reminded her about the time when she would be fully bound to that demon.
Andrius was waiting at the aisle impatiently. He was continuously tapping his foot on the ground.
Last time, he could not even clearly see how beautiful she was looking in the white wedding gown in all that chaos, but today he can.
He can see how beautiful she would look in the wedding gown he selected for her. All prepared for him to marry him and be his forever.
His eyes were fixed on the entrance of the hall, from where his butterfly will come. His patience was getting out of control now.
"I see, now, this cunning demon can even feel nervousness." Diego teased him standing beside him as Diedra smiled only in return.
"But, I call it excitement, also... you two are remaining to feel this excitement." Andrius commented with a smirk.
"I'm waiting for that moment, too." Diego said as he was lost somewhere in his thoughts, while Diedra's silent smile gave his positive answer, too.
Andrius smiled knowing that, all his friends are head over heels for their love, just like him.
"Well, I just remembered, why did not those brothers come?" Andrius asked as both of them stayed silent for a moment before Diedra answered.
"They are handling their newly-married life and their wife. Well, kinda a forced wedding." Diedra said as Andrius nodded at his words.
He was happy that his friends had finally gotten back their love and hoped that they would lead a happy life with her. And he hoped for himself, too, with his butterfly.
Just then his attention was caught by the beautiful presence that entered the hall. His eyes widened in surprise and utter admiration seeing his butterfly looking very captivating in the wedding attire.
He was not able to take his eyes off of her. Now he was regretting choosing this wedding gown for her in which she is looking ethereal, making him lose his mind now. He is now doubting his capacity to control himself.
Damn! Butterfly, you'll surely make me insane.
Half-heartedly, Arima was walking beside her father, who is soon going to hand her over to that demon standing in front of her looking very handsome in his attire.
Unknowingly her eyes met with his ones. Unexpectedly, she did not see any kind of lust or evil glint, like his wish to marry her anyhow is getting complete. She only saw admiration and love in his eyes.
He is not that bad, is he?
He won't hurt me, right?
"Please, don't hurt my daughter." Her father's soft pleading words rang in her ears taking her out of her thoughts, as her hand was placed on his palm in a soft grip.
"I won't Mr. RIvera. I've vowed to protect her and love her since the day I fell for her." She would be lying if she said that she did not see the genuine feeling in his eyes.
She was now standing in front of him looking at him with nervous eyes. She could feel her heart beating fast in her rib cage.
Andrius's mind was just fixed on her. He did not even focus on the speech of the officiant, he just could not.
Finally, the gorgeous beauty in front of him was just going to be his and only his. Just for his to love, cherish and protect from every evil being outside.
"Do you Andrius Kingsley, take Arima Rivera to be your wife?" The officiant asked him as Andrius smiled at her.
"I do." His words were full of truthfulness as he spoke them looking deep into her emerald eyes.
"Do you Arima Rivera, take Andriud Kingsley to be your husband?" Now it was Arima's turn to answer which she did.
"I do..." Her two words brought another kind of feeling to his heart that he just can't describe. He felt really happy.
After they confessed their vows, they exchanged their rings. Well, it was only her, who made him wear his ring as he wanted her to wear that same ring which he gave her the other day.
"I now pronounce you husband and wife." The officiant said bringing satisfaction and joy to his heart, while Arima just hoped for one thing.
"You may now kiss the bride." The officiant announced as Andrius did not waste any moment and leaned to her to capture her lips.
Arima closed her eyes seeing leaning to her, praying in her mind...
Please god, don't make me regret this decision...
------------
She just can't believe that she was now a married woman at the age of 21 and is soon going to leave her sweet little family.
After saying goodbyes to her parents and sister, who told her to take care of herself and suggested to run away from him if he hurts her.
She was also worried for them, as she had seen them taking stress over her, after, all this matter about Andrius got disclosed.
Right now, sitting in the car with Andrius beside her driving, she had one thing running through her mind. Tonight's night. Their wedding night.
She is scared like hell thinking that he would touch her today. She does not want to even live with him let alone think to have him touch her.
Her hands were fidgeting with the material of the gown, which Andrius was noticing, and her nervousness which was written over her face. He smiled seeing how nervous she was looking sitting beside him as if it was her first time.
Keeping his eyes on the road he softly grabbed her hand in his palm startling her. He intertwined his fingers with her and brought them closer to his lips, which he placed on her palm.
"Don't get scared, butterfly. I'm your husband now and I have vowed to protect you, not to hurt you." He said giving her palm a soft squeeze.
What if I say that I'm scared of this husband of mine now?
She thought mockingly and snatched her palm away from his grip making him smile. With the silence still in the car, he drove the car back to his mansion.
The car stopped in front of the mansion. He came out of the car and came to the other side of it to open it for his wife.
He forwarded his hand to her, which she took after a little bit of hesitation.
She came out of the car and stood beside him, as he hold her palm in a firm grip like did not want her to leave his hand. Ever.
"Let's go, my butterfly." He said to her and they both came inside the mansion.
Entering the mansion, Arima saw nearly 20 maids standing there with their heads bowed down.
"Listen here all of you, she is my wife. Arima Andrius Kingsley and you have to serve her and take of her every need. Whatever she asks, you'll give her in an instant. Am I clear?" His cold authoritative tone even made her shiver.
"Yes, sir." All of them replied in an obedient tone bowing down.
"Dismissed." Andrius said and then all of them left from there.
"Let's go to our room." Andrius's words scared her more.
Before she could say anything else, she was being dragged upstairs.
But, this time they were going in a different direction. She remembered that his room was in the opposite direction where they were heading.
"Boss." Came Marcus's voice from their behind making them stop in their steps.
Andrius turned around and asked him through his eyes only what is the matter that he needs to disturb them now.
"There is a problem." Marcus informed him with a little bit of trouble knowing that his boss would not want to get disturbed on his first wedding night.
Please go. Please go and leave me alone.
Arima thought in her mind pleading very badly that he would leave her for tonight.
"Handle it by yourself for tonight." Andrius coldly said breaking all her hope to stay alone tonight.
"Boss, it's urgent. Please, hear me out for once." Marcus pleaded to him, and his tone said that the problem was something big, too.
Andrius left her palm and went to him. Then Marcus said something in his ear.
Arima was seeing them and observing the reaction he would give. Well, his reaction scared her as he was now looking more dangerous than she had ever seen him.
Eyes dark with calm rage and jaw clenched, he was looking murderous. Now she was thinking about what problem he heard that he was this pissed off.
"Maids!" With his shout, two maids were In front of them in a few moments.
"Escort your madam to our room." He ordered them and turned around to leave. "I'll handle this trouble."
Arima could not hear the last few words he spoke.
"Yes, sir." The maids said obediently.
"This way madam." One maid who was looking a little older than her said to her.
Arima nodded and glanced in his direction for once she went to the way maids showed her.
The maids led her to a new room, which was different and bigger than his last room.
"Madam, all your necessary things are already arranged in the closet. If you need anything please call us." Arima nodded at her and they all left from there leaving her alone in the room.
------------
Andrius entered the office slamming the door as Marcus trailed behind him.
"What did that bastard do now?" Andrius asked him in a cold tone.
"He attacked the new mansion that you were going to gift it to madam. He somehow got to know that you have liking that mansion, so he attacked that mansion and destroyed it."
Andrius's demeanor changed to an angry one as his fist landed on the table breaking it.
"That bastard! How dare he!" He was not angry that he attacked that mansion.
He could have brought many more like that.
But, he was going to gift it to his Arima, and he destroyed it.
Just then his phone rang and he did not need to see who is that person. He directly picked it up.
"Aren't you now crossing your limits, you bastard!" He shouted at the person on the other side of the phone.
"You did it first." A mocking came from that man.
"Well, I got to know that you got married. That to a human. I didn't know that your standards are that low, Andrius." His tone sounded so disgustful.
"Don't even dare to lay your eyes on my wife." Andrius warned him with a growl.
"Now, I'm more interested to know who is that woman who captured your attention after her." His dark chuckle rang through his ear as Andrius closed his eyes in rage.
For a few seconds, he was silent, and when he opened his eyes, a smirk was playing on his lips.
"Now, if you've done all this. I think I should pay you back, too, am I right?" Andrius spoke with an evil smirk giving him a hint that he is soon going to make trouble for him.
"It was my payback to you, that you did to my son." His cold tone came from the phone.
"You do love to trouble the person..." Andrius sat on the chair before continuing his words. "...who would love to destroy you inch by inch, slowly, aren't you. Mr.Wright?"
He smirked sensing the silence on the other side of the phone. He knew that Mr. Wright had now realized what is his place in front of him.
"Be ready for the payback." And the cut was hung up after he said those words.
He would surely make him pay for what he did to his Arima's gift. If he had messed with him like any other time, he would have ignored it, but not now, when there is something that relates to his Arima.
There is something else too that he needs to take care of. Keeping his Arima away from his eyes. He won't even let his shadow come near his Arima.
"Marcus, destroy all his illegal trafficking buildings. Not a single one should be left." He ordered him and Marcus obeyed and left the room.
Andrius knew how much of a lust-driven man he is. But, it's not the only thing that he is going to do after what he did.
It's just to frustrate him more so that he would make more mistakes for the upcoming trouble for him in the future.
Just wait and watch you, Wright.
It was already 10 of the night when Andrius came back to his room. He wanted to spend this whole day with Arima, but could not as there was a problem he was dealing with.
He must deal with them first to ensure the safety of his only family, his wife, his Arima. Just the thought of his family brings a joyful emotion to his heart.
He felt it after so much time, to have his own family, someone to protect, to cherish, someone to love all by his. And this time he would not let anyone take away his family. Even if he needs to slaughter the whole world.
He smiled gazing at his butterfly, who was sleeping peacefully on the sofa. She had changed her gown to some comfortable clothes.
Now, he did not disturb her sleep and took a shower and changed his clothes into sweatpants leaving his upper body bare.
He very carefully picked her up and settled her on the bed, where she rightfully belongs. He also laid beside her covering both of them with a duvet.
He slowly pulled her closer to his chest not disturbing her sleep at all. A smile came to his face, seeing how calmly she is sleeping in his arms, close to him.
It was not his first time, still, it felt different to hug her today. Maybe because she was his wife from today.
Placing a kiss on her forehead, he finally let the sleep take over him, in the peace that only she can give him.
[Next morning]
Arima's sleep was slowly breaking after feeling something heavy on her body. In her sleepy self, the first thought that came to her mind was that there were pillows on her.
So, she hugged the pillow tightly, only to feel a little weird about it. It was not soft like her pillows, but something hard and more importantly, it was warm.
Feeling this weird thing near her, she opened her eyes to see what is the heavy thing. But, the scenario shocked her more.
Andrius was sleeping beside her hugging her close to him or more like sleeping on her, and she was hugging his waist thinking it was her pillow.
The more shocking thing for her was that he was shirtless.
Her hands automatically came forward pushing him away from him, breaking his sleep, making him groan. She sat up on the bed backing away from him.
"Damn! Butterfly, is this some way to wish good morning?" Andrius said in his deep morning voice finally setting his eyes on her.
"W-What are you doing here beside me?" She instantly threw the question at him thinking that he did something to her last night. He understood what she was thinking.
"First, tell me why do you look so surprised finding your husband sleeping beside you, wifey?" He asked her with a mischievous smirk playing on his lips. His words were scaring her thinking that he has done something to her.
"Di-Di-Did you do s-something..." She did not know what to say further as that alone thought was scaring her a lot.
"Should I have done it?" Still, Andrius was not backing away from teasing her as he had started to come closer to her.
His words confused her, as she now realized that he was just messing with her. She pushed him away from herself in anger.
"You jerk!" She shouted at him and then she ran inside the bathroom.
Andrius laughed seeing his cute butterfly who easily believed that he had taken advantage of her in her sleep.
Well, he would never do that. He loathes that kind of people, then why would he become one of them.
Arima locked the door of the bathroom and leaned onto it taking deep breaths. She was relieved that there had nothing happened between them last night.
Then she remembered about yesterday and the reality hit her. She was now his wife.
She does not have any idea
