[Author's POV]
There is nothing good than the morning sunlight. Warm and delightful. The morning sunlight was spreading over colony houses making a beautiful scenario that the fairies would also come here to enjoy this.
In one of the houses of the colony, a silence was scattered. A silence with few noises of the house chores where a man was sitting on the sofa reading a newspaper, a lady who was walking here and there doing some house chores shouting someone's name.
"Amber! Wake up already! You'll be late for your school." The lady who was the wife of the man sitting on the sofa shouted.
"Ten minutes more, Mumma!" Came a lazy shout in reply from the upstairs as the lady sighed at her lazy daughter.
"This girl won't ever listen." She sighed and continue to take her steps towards her room when she stopped and think something.
Getting a perfect plan to wake her daughter, she came back to the living room and called her husband.
"Richard!" She spoke her husband's name in a loud tone more than it was needed. She was making sure that her daughter would listen to her next words.
"Yes, Mary." Her husband replied her giving her a single glance then looking back at the newspaper in his hand
"Let's give all the chocolate cookies to Harry. No one eats those cookies nowadays. So-" Her loud words got cut off by a shout which came from her lazy sleeping daughter.
"No!" With a shout, came a girl into the living room and directly ran towards the kitchen.
Her mother smirked as her plan got successful to bring her cookie-obsessed daughter who was so lazy to get late for her school again this week.
She came to the kitchen to find her one daughter cutting some veggies for the breakfast showing her back to her and another lazy daughter who was trying to take the container of cookies.
"No need to get afraid. I didn't give him any one of your cookies." Mary told as her daughter opened the container to see if every cookie is in the right place. She sighed after finding them there.
"I won't even let that hippo Harry eat a single piece of my cookies." Amber, her lazy daughter said.
She took out one cookie and was going to eat and before that, a serving spoon was lightly hit on her hand making the cookie fall from her hand back to the container.
Amber looked at her elder sister who was standing there in an apron and both hands on her hips.
Black and brownish hairs were tied in a loose hairband and her eyes were looking at her younger sister with a wave of playful anger.
"Sis, why did you hit me? Ouch..." Amber fake cried blowing air to the place where her elder sister hit her.
"You didn't even brush your teeth and came here directly to save your cookies after Mumma just pranked you so you can get up. Go and get fresh first." Saying that Amber was pushed outside the kitchen by her elder sister.
Whining a bit Amber went to her to get ready for her boring school. Looking at her lazy daughter's acts her mother sighed.
"This girl..." Sighed words left from Mary.
The other girl and elder daughter of Mary just smiled a bit at her lazy yet cute little sister who was just 4 years younger than her.
"Arima, you should also get ready you have college, too. Go I'll do this." Mary told her daughter as she smiled and nodded at her and came to her room.
Choosing today's outfit, she went to the bathroom to have a bath. After like 20 minutes she got ready in her simple jeans and top, and after setting her hair she comes down to have her breakfast.
"Dad." Amber called her dad who was eating his breakfast with a spoon.
"Hmm." A hummed reply came from her dad.
"I've heard that your company is working with the Dankworth brothers. Is it true?" Amber asked smiling like a crazy girl.
Her father raised an eyebrow at her question before asking her the question whose answer he knows already.
"Yes. Why did you ask?" He asked her. Amber thought before speaking but her dad beat her into it first.
"You want to meet them, am I right?" He spoke. Amber smiled widely like crazy.
"Yes. Can I?" Amber asked with so much hope but it got crushed by her father's straight reply.
"No." Her father replied and again focused on his food.
"Why?!" Amber whined like a child who didn't get her toy.
"Amber, it's not some family business or work. It's professional work. You can't meet them. And I'm sure that you know how they are. They all are very professional in their work." Her father informed her.
Amber left a defeated sigh and continued her breakfast. Her mother and elder sister just smiled at her fangirling behavior.
Why? Because she is one of the girls who are admirers of the Dankworth brothers. The company where their father works is currently working on a project with them.
One day when Amber was helping her father with the work, she accidentally read the file related to that project.
After that Amber's craziness was on high that the other three persons of the family were barely able to handle her.
After her mother threatened her about her dear cookies, she calmed down. Guess she loves her cookies more than the Dankworth brothers.
After having breakfast both the girls went on the scooter to their college. They both were studying on the same campus so their college and school were at the same place.
Both reached their destination. Parking the scooter Arima gave her little fangirl sister a few instructions before she goes to attend her classes.
"Amber. Focus on the class. Not on those billionaire brothers. Okay? And turn off your mobile data on your phone. Otherwise, you'll only focus on the notifications." Arima told her as Amber made a face like she just caught in the headlight.
"Okay." Saying the Amber ran away from there leaving Arima there who laughed a little at her crazy sister's behavior.
Taking her bag, she started to walk towards her class. She was early a few minutes so few students were still outside gossiping with each other.
Coming to her classroom she roamed her eyes every were to see where her two friends are sitting.
As she found them, her two friends Jennie and Lisa waved her hands to come. She came and sat on the chair.
"We were just waiting for you. We want to tell you something." Jennie said excitedly.
"What?" Arima asked.
"About Dankworth brothers." Lisa replied making Arima sigh.
"Not you two again." Arima told them making the two girls frown in confusion.
"What do you mean not again?" Jennie asked.
"At home, Amber was also speaking about the Dankworth brothers as their company is going to start working with the company where dad works." Arima said making both the girls shocked and happy at the same.
"Really?!" Both the girls screamed in excitement as the other students in the classroom looked at them weirdly.
Arima got a little embarrassed. It's not like she is shy coming in front of the crowd. Right now, she blamed her two crazy friends for this.
"Nothing guys. Carry on." She nervously announced as other students focused on their work again. Arima shot a glare towards her two crazy friends.
"Will you two be a little quiet?" She scolded them. They both just gave her a sheepish laugh and asked her again.
"Is it true that your father-" Arima cut Jennie's words as she gave her the answer to her uncompleted question.
"Yeah, it's true." Arima replied.
"Can we ask him to-" Again Arima cut their words.
"No, you can't." Arima already knew what they are going to ask.
"Why?!" Both girls whined.
"Your same reaction Amber gave when dad declined her offer to meet those Dankworth brothers. So don't ask." Arima's little bit of stern words was a signal for them to stop.
"I don't understand what you all see in those brothers." Arima said while taking her class stuff out of her bag.
"Have you ever seen them?" Jennie asked her narrowing her eyes. Arima shook her head as no in the reply.
"Yeah, if you have seen them then you'll also be the same as us. Cheering for them." Lisa spoke excitedly. Arima little rolled her eyes at her excitement.
"See, them." Jennie forwarded her phone on the desk showing Arima something.
Arima looked down to see the picture of the men for whom her friends and sister are getting crazy right now.
"Are they-" Arima was beaten into her words by Jennie who spoke before her.
"The most handsome and richest billionaire brothers on the Earth." Jennie declared giving a hi-fi to Lisa who agreed with her.
"What will I do with you two?" Arima mumbled.
"Also I've read a post of Leon on social media." Lisa told them.
"What it says?" Jennie asked her.
"Leon wrote that they have three best friends who are also as handsome and hot as them." Lisa said.
"Did you see them?" Jennie asked her getting impatient to see the best friends of the Dankworth brothers.
"No." Lisa said as if she was the most unlucky girl for not being able to see their friends.
Arima just sighed at her two crazy friends who are getting crazy over the person whom they have not seen in real life ever.
She, truthfully found them good-looking but she didn't find it to be getting crazy over them like a fangirl.
Before her two friends can blabber something else the professor came into the classroom and the lecture started.
Till the lunch break, everything was normal. Three of the girls came to the canteen. They were eating slowly except Jennie who was the same as Arima's little sister. A foody one.
They were waiting for their one and only guy friend in their group. Looking around they were waiting for her when he came with three big books in his hands.
"Gosh, Pedro... How much will you study?" Lisa told him as she doesn't like to study at all. School is just boring for where here she just came to enjoy her time with her three friends.
"Lisa, he likes to study. Not like you who barely passes a test." Jennie told her. Lisa just rolled her eyes at her playful taunt.
"Well, Pedro, which books are you reading nowadays?" Arima asked him as he sat beside her.
Pedro is a cute guy with glasses on his face. Others don't like him as he always stays busy in his studies and thinks of him as nerdy.
"Paranormal." Pedro replied as he gulped down the glass of water.
"Paranormal? When you got interested in those types of mythical things?" Lisa asked him.
"Two days ago, I accidentally read a book which was of paranormal genres, and I got interested in it." Pedro replied to her.
"Hmm. What did you get to know from that?" Arima asked him getting curious about those things.
"Well, right now I just got to know about vampires, demons, devils, and beasts," Pedro replied to her. And then his lectures went on.
"The vampires were not like we have seen in the movies and TV. According to the book, vampires have ranked by the power of their blood. If the vampire has the strong blood they would be high ranked and the weak ranked vampire shouldn't even think to fight with them otherwise that weak vampire would die."
As Pedro completed his lecture, Lisa was slept putting her head on the table beside her food plate. Jennie was thinking about his words while Arima had a little curious look on his face.
"And demons also have that type ranking." Pedro said putting his spoon on the plate.
"But don't they live in the hell?" Jennie askes him.
"Yeah, but according to the book they can live in the human world, and whenever they want to." Pedro replied to her.
"They can even live here permanently if they want." Pedro continued his lecture about his paranormal creatures.
His lecture only stopped when the bell ranged. Then he stopped. All four of them went to their class.
The remaining lectures were also normal. Bidding each other bye's the four friends went their way after classes finished.
This was Arima's life. Studying, gossiping with her friends, helping her mother in house chores, fighting with her little sister, sweet and simple.
And she is just like these normal and simple things but very pure.
Just like a pure soul...
However, pure things are very rare, and rare things are very demandable from both good and evil...
So which one will demand this pure soul...
A good one or an evil one...
-----------
Arima was coming to the kitchen to make something for her as she was hungry and it was too early to make dinner.
There are only two of them in the house, she and her mother. Her father had gone on a business trip for the project and Amber is at her friend's house.
Coming to the kitchen she tries to look around to find something to make something eatable for her, but she found nothing from which she can make anything.
"Mom!" She shouted her mom's name.
"Yes?" She got a replied shout from her mother.
"Groceries have finished. Should I go and bring it?" Arima asked her. Her mother has now come in the kitchen hearing her question.
"Oh god! I forgot to buy it yesterday." Her mother sighed.
"Don't worry. I'll bring it." Arima said as her mother nodded.
Arima got ready and took her purse and the bag she left the house to bring the groceries. She choose to walk today as the grocery store was nearby.
After like 20 minutes, she just came out of the grocery store closing her purse in her hand, only to get collide with somebody who suddenly came running from behind her.
Both of them fell to the floor as the stranger man was running very fast which lead her to fall to the ground.
"Ahh..." A slight whimper left from Arima's lips as she looked around to see that all her grocery was scattered around the place and also the stranger's things were fell on the ground.
"You should be careful while running..." She told him with a little anger in her tone, but that stranger ignored her and started collecting his things which were scattered on the ground.
She noticed that a mask was also on the ground which he first took and covered his face but she had already seen his face.
Arima ignored and started to collect her things realizing that the man was in hurry by his posture and his speed of collecting things.
At last, when she collected all her things, the only thing that was left was her purse which she saw near that stranger.
Before she could even take it in her hands, that guy accidentally took it and put it in his bag.
"Oh, hello, my purse." Arima tried to call him but he ignored her and ran away from the place making her run behind him to get her purse back.
"Excuse me! Mister! My purse." She tried to call him while running behind him but he was running very fastly making her pant heavily.
She did not know when she was heading as her whole focus was on her purse which the stranger was accidentally stealing away from her.
At an alley, he turned left while she just crossed the previous alley. She saw him turning towards an alley as she ran behind him breathing heavily.
"Mister stop! You took my purse with you." Arima shouted to call him when she came near the turning point of the alley.
Turning to the alley, what she saw made her shocked. The guy behind whom she was running, was pinned to the wall by another guy.
More than this, what shocked her was the eyes of was the unknown guy who was choking the purse stealer.
They were different from the eyes of any human. They were pure black, only filled with darkness.
In all her shock, she did not realize that her emerald eyes and the darkness-filled eyes were staring into each other.
Her trance of shock broke when the purse stealer suddenly pushed the unknown guy and ran past Arima pushing her not knowing where would it lead her.
By the sudden jerk, Arima's forehead collided with the wall making her feel the rush of pain in her head making her unconscious.
Before closing her eyes, her eyes met with the eyes which were filled with darkness, which lead her to get lost in the darkness...
