jonathan had thought over telling (y/n) how he felt about her the entire night. was he ready to risk his friendship with her over a crush on his best friend? and was she even the right wheeler sister for him? he hadn't quite decided.

but then he saw her, sipping jungle juice by the front door. she seemed to be alone, although he knew she just loved to socialize. he smiled to himself knowing how much of an introvert she was at parties.

he took a deep breath then walked over to where she was. he gathered his words and then he tried to organize them in his head.

"(y/n)," he began, "i think i like you."

"jonathan," she began.

as she turned around, he closed his eyes and kissed her. she kissed him back, much to his surprise. it lasted a while and when they broke apart they were both shocked.

jonathan came face to face with a wheeler, but not (y/n) wheeler.
