March 15th

"A-Atsumu-san," Hikari calls out as she shyly plays with her hair.

"Huh? What is it, Hikari-chan?" Atsumu turns to look at her and stops chewing on his apple.

"I-it's been a couple of days and I-I haven't," Hikari blushes and tries to calm down, "I haven't taken a bath yet."

Innocently blinking, Atsumu tilts his head in confusion until he starts laughing.

"Why were you having such a hard time saying that? If you need to bathe, just say it!" He giggles as the birds sing along with him.

Hikari's cheeks turn even redder as she tightly grasps the ends of her skirt. "I-I don't know! I just... I'm human, Atsumu-san! How would I bathe in the forest?"

What Hikari says causes Atsumu to laugh even more as he stands and grabs her hand. Easily lifting her up, he gives her a grin. "Let's take a bath together then! I'll teach you."

"...... HUH?!" Hikari yells, scaring the birds away from their branches.

Atsumu's fox ears wiggle in discomfort as he winces. "Hikari-channn, you're too loud!" Atsumu whines as he adorably itches his ears.

Staring at the male in front of her, Hikari is too stunned and embarrassed to even speak.

Noticing that Hikari is staring off into space, Atsumu waves his hand in front of her face. "Oiii, why are you so red? You look like a tomato!"

Snapping out of her daze, Hikari shyly removes her hand out of Atsumu's and rubs her sweat on her dress. "W-what do you mean?" she asks and looks down. "Y-you just suggested that w-we b-b-bathe together! Why would I n-not react this way? I haven't even shown K-Keiji my b-bare body!"

Atsumu moves his eyes from Hikari's legs all the way to her face which causes her to instinctively hit his arm.

"Ow! What was that for?" he growls and rubs his arm.

"D-don't look at my b-body!" Hikari chirps and tries her hardest to cover herself up.

Confusedly staring at her, Atsumu blows his bangs out of his face and rolls his eyes. "I just don't understand why we can't bathe together. My brother and I always bathe together," he innocently explains.

"W-well, that's different! I-I'm... I'm a woman." Hikari looks away and shyly plays with her hair as Atsumu takes in her beauty.

Studying how the wind would blow away from her face and how her skin glows under the sunlight, Atsumu blushes and realizes that she was right. It was entirely different than bathing with Osamu; Hikari was the first woman he had ever spoken to, ate with, toured the forest with--practically the first woman he's ever met.

"S-sorry," he shyly apologizes while rubbing his nape.

Hearing the sincereness in his voice, Hikari sighs in defeat. "I-it's alright."

Awkwardly standing beside each other, an idea then pops into Atsumu's head and he grins. Once again, he grabs her hand.

"Instead of bathing, how about we swim instead! That's practically the same thing!" he excitedly suggests.

"S-swim?" Hikari repeats but before she could give an answer, Atsumu starts pulling her through the forest. "W-wait! Where are we going, Atsumu-san?"

Turning around, Atsumu gives his famous, toothy grin. "Somewhere fun!"

-

"A... a waterfall," Hikari says in awe as she stares at the stunning sight before her.

Still holding onto her hand, Atsumu continues to pull her towards the 16ft waterfall. Reaching the top, the two stare down at the lake in awe once more.

"Alright, let's jump," Atsumu casually says as Hikari's eyes almost bulge out of their sockets.

"U-uh, Atsumu-san, I don't know."

"You'll be fine; it's not that high!"

The height of the waterfall could be compared to the tall diving board in a high school pool. Although it wasn't tall for some, the height was bothersome to Hikari and it scared her.

As Atsumu is leaning forward, Hikari pulls him back and tightens her grip on his hand.

"I-I... I'm not sure, Atsumu."

"Hmm? What do you mean?" Observing her features, it's clearly written in her body language and eyes that Hikari was frightened. Flashing a warm grin, Atsumu grabs both of her hands which radiates heat into her body. This grabs her attention and she instantly looks up at his honey eyes. "Don't be scared, Hikari-chan! I'll be here and it'll be a lot of fun, okay? I won't let you get hurt."

Oddly, hearing the words come out of Atsumu's mouth, it sounded convincing that she would be safe and her body stopped shaking.

"Okay, I trust you."

Hand in hand, the two walk closer toward the waterfall and when Hikari looks down, she takes a nervous gulp.

"On three, we're going to jump, okay?"

Without looking at him, she nods.

"One."

Quickly, she shuts her eyes.

"Two."

Her hand clutches onto Atsumu's for her dear life.

"Three!"

Taking a deep breath, the two jump off and follow the waterfall into the lake. Feeling the cold water hit her body, Hikari shivers under the water and lifts her head up to meet Atsumu's golden eyes.

"See, it wasn't that bad! Wasn't that fun?" he giggles as Hikari wipes strands of hair out of her face. Along with her, Atsumu shakes his head to remove his bangs from his face like a dog.

"Y-yeah, that was pretty fun!" Hikari honestly replies as her heart rate increases from the excitement.

"Then let's do it again! There's an easier waterfall that's kind of like a slide; you'll like that, Hikari-chan." Atsumu grins and once again takes her hand into his.

Getting out of the water, he stops to lift her out.

"Ahh, this shirt is annoying. I'm going to take it off," Atsumu whines and throws the shirt onto a rock.

Blush instantly covers Hikari's face when she sees how built Atsumu is and she turns to look away.

"Why do you look like a tomato again?" Atsumu asks and leans in towards her face.

"I-it's n-nothing, Atsumu-san!"

He ignores her stutters and looks at how her dress sticks against her body which reveals her figure. His ears instantly turn pink and he looks away.

"L-let's just go!" he stutters and grabs Hikari's hand.

Holding her hand and pulling her around to show her the incredible things he does in the forest had become his new favorite thing. Although he wouldn't admit it out loud, it also made him feel more whole and Atsumu definitely couldn't lie how well he believed her hand fit into his. This was a feeling he had never felt before.

As the two continued to swim, Atsumu couldn't understand why but swimming with Hikari gave him more excitement and fun rather than swimming with his friends. Maybe because she was new at this and Atsumu felt a great accomplishment of bringing a smile on her face once more, but he wasn't entirely sure if that was the only reason. Her little gasps and awes of astonishment were his new enjoyment. Ultimately though, the two continued to have fun, splashed around, while also washing up till dawn where they both sat besides a fire to keep warm.

"I don't remember the last time I had this much fun," Hikari softly says as she stares at the starry sky. Currently, she was now wearing Atsumu's large shirt while her dress dried off besides the fire.

"What do humans do for fun?" he curiously asks as he also stares at the sky beside her.

"Well, there's a lot of different things humans find fun. There's a game called bowling, karaoke--which is where you sing songs, playing sports."

"Well, what do you like to do for fun?" Atsumu rephrases his question and turns to look at Hikari.

Feeling his gaze, she does the same thing and looks at him; warm tones flash against their face and their eyes both glimmer with sparks from the fire.

The question gets Hikari flustered and she turns her head to stare at the fire. "I-I... Nothing really that's considered fun."

"Did you find what we did today fun?" he asks.

"Yes."

"Well, I found that really fun too," he points out. She looks back at Atsumu to see stars in his eyes. "Obviously, whatever you find fun, I'd probably find it fun too, Hikari-chan. So, don't say that whatever you like to do isn't fun."

Unconsciously, Hikari's heart skips a beat. The longer she stares into his eyes, the more she wants to get closer; however, Hikari stops herself by turning her attention away once more.

"I-I guess some things that I like to do for fun are: plant, sit and watch the sunset, and take walks. I usually do those things by myself though because my friends usually invite me to do other things." She shyly twists her hair with her fingers.

Atsumu's eyes brighten even more when he hears what she says. "I love doing those things too. I do them everyday--wait, that's practically what we've been doing together!" he giggles.

A smile of realization grows on her face and she snuggles her face into her knees.

"You're right," she softly agrees.

Atsumu leans towards her face and gives Hikari an adorable grin. "It's more fun doing it with you than doing it alone though," he confesses.

Hikari's cheeks turn scarlet and her heart, once again, skips a beat. However, she doesn't do anything to stop her heart from dancing like she usually would. Instead, she gives him a grin back.

"You're right! It is more fun doing it with you."
