iii. out of luck
SARIYAH wakes up first, stretching as she sits up in bed. Kordell is still knocked out beside her, his arm lazily draped across her waist like he forgot the challenge was over.
She shakes her head and nudges him. "Kordell, move." Sariyah shoved him.
He groans, tightening his grip. "Five more minutes."
Sariyah sighs, pulling his arm off her. "Boy, get up."
Kordell finally opens his eyes, smirking.
"D*mn, I can't even get a 'good morning' first?"
She rolls her eyes but fights a small smile."Good morning, now get off me."
He chuckles, sitting up and stretching. "You act like you ain't like it."
Sariyah stands up, walking toward the dressing room. "You be thinkin' I like everything you do."
Kordell watches her walk away, shaking his head. "You gon' stop playin' wit' me one day."
Outside where the kitchen was Samir and Serena sit on the outdoor couch, plates of food in their hands.
"You feel like people locked in yet?" Serena asks, picking at her toast.
Samir shrugs, leaning back. "A few, but I ain't convinced. You locked in?"
Serena raises an eyebrow. "Why, you worried?"
He smirks. "Just checkin' the temperature."
She hums, tilting her head. "And what's it readin'?"
He leans in slightly. "Like I still got work to do."
Serena bites her lip, hiding a smile.
"Maybe."

THE NEXT game the islanders played was Vacation Vixens. Serena was the first to slide down the slide in her bikini. When she got to the bottom, she read the paper out of the bottle. "Which girl do you think would never be with her current boy on the outside?" she read.
Serena then grabbed a bucket full of water and poured it on JaNa's butt. After she read another question from the bottle. "Which boy do you think is the shadiest?" she read then poured the bucket of water on Hakeem. Later she spun the wheel, "I'm aiming for Samir because clearly he's been wanting to kiss me anyway." she threw the spear and it hit Aaron. Aaron walked over and picked Serena up and kissed her under the water fall.
Kordell looked at Samir. "You just gone take that?" he asked.
Samir gently shoved Kordell, "Man, n*gga quit being messy."
After a couple of rounds, it was Sariyah's turn. Sariyah slid down the slide and read her message in the bottle. "Which girl is the shadiest?" she read and poured the water on Liv. She then read the next message in the bottle. "Which boy is the most selfish." she then grabbed her bucket and made sure it was really full and poured it on Samir.
"D*mn, twin. That sh*t was forceful," Samir shook the water off of him. "Imma get your a*s back don't even worry about it."
Sariyah laughed and grabbed the spear. "I'm aiming for Kordell because it's Kordell duh." she threw the spear and it landed on...Rob.
Samir nudged Kordell. "Oh so you gone let that slide?"
"Chill out, bruh." Kordell waved him off.
Rob picked up Sariyah and kissed her under the waterfall, but it got a little heated. Kordell kept his cool. "Yall having fun over there huh."
After the game the guys decided that Serena should win the challenge.
CONFESSIONAL: kordell
"I'm not tripping but like, I feel some type of way yeah. Like should I be worried?" Kordell asked.

SAMIR AND SARIYAH sat on the couch and talked about the game. "So, you didn't get a chance to kiss Serena, must be tough." Sariyah teased him.
"And you didn't kiss Kordell so, shut the hell up." Samir shoved her gently.
Sariyah hit him. "Man, move. At least I didn't get water thrown on me." she scoffed.
Samir gasped dramatically. "Cause of you! Fake a*s. We not siblings no more." he pushed her off the couch but Kordell caught her.
"I gotchu." Kordell helped her up.
"Thank you." Sariyah fixed herself.
Kordell then looked at Samir giving him a look. Samir nodded and let them sit on the couch as he got up. But Samir still wanted to bother Sariyah one more time before he left. He crop dusted her.
"Ew, Samir." Sariyah kicked him.
"I hope yo a*s get pink eye." Samir left with a smirk.
Sariyah groaned, "I can't stand him."
Kordell chuckled before he got serious. "So, that kiss with Rob." he ripped the bandaid off.
"I tried aiming for you." Sariyah stated.
"I know, I know, your aim is a*s," He chuckled. "But it got...heated. And I'm not tripping I'm just tryna see...you know?" Kordell admitted.
"Ain't no feelings, okay? Just me and you. I'm not trying to lock in yet but I'm also not seeing any options right now, you know?" Sariyah answered truthfully.
"Me and you." Kordell repeated.
Sariyah looked at him, studying his face. "You seem like you don't believe me." she stated.
"I do. I'm just thinking you know. Not tryna f*ck this up. Like I feel we on the same pageβish. You open to other guys soon that's...that's cool. I get it but I like us. You get what I'm trying to say?" Kordell brushed it off.
Sariyah tilted his chin up and brushed her thumb over his lips. "C'mere Kordell."
Kordell faltered for a moment before kissing her. "Mmm."
CONFESSIONAL: sariyah
"I wasn't planning on kissing Kordell anytime soon. But I know what it's like to be in your head. And I didn't want that for him. LikeβLike he's trying and I just wanted to let him know it's not one sided." Sariyah shrugged.
interviewer: How's Kordell's kissing skills?
"Baby, he had me with that lil moan. But I'm not a weak in the knees type to girl, y'know but d*mnnnn."
CONFESSIONAL: kordell
"I'm hella easy, man. All she had to say was c'mere and my a*s was there." Kordell laughed at himself.

AFTER EVERYONE in the villa got ready for the night, they split off in their couples. Samir pulled Serena to the side. "Serena, Serena, Serena." he smiled and pulled her into a hug before the two talked.
"Well, hello, Mr. Selfish." Serena joked as she sat across from him.
"Man, not you too," Samir laughed as he sat his drink down. "So, the game."
"The game was fun. Sariyah and I can't aim for sh*t." Serena chuckled.
"Yeah that's why I'm in the NBA and she's not." Samir shook his head softly.
Serena chucked softly, "Do you think that's why she called you selfish?" she asked.
"You still on the selfish thing?" Samir sighed softly.
Serena nodded. "Still on it." she agreed.
"Serena, she said that cause I'm her brother. Twin brother at that. She was just joking." Samir answered truthfully but Serena was still on edge.
"I'm not gonna lie, there's some sort of connection but I'm not like 100% you know? Like you aren't just anybody. You are in the NBA, I can't just ignore that. I don't wanna look stupid." Serena admitted.
"Serena, Imma let you do you. Explore and all that sh*t. But I'm serious I'm not gonna lock in, until we ready. But you gotta trust me." Samir dragged his hand down his face.
CONFESSIONAL: samir
"I feel like Tyreek when they took his daughter bruh. What more do you want from me. I'm not even making her seem like she just an option. Like most athletes do. I don't know man, I want her but I can't keep doing this." Samir huffed.
