Jake had now resigned himself, he knew that Tom didn't reciprocate his feelings and for all that time he hadn't wanted to believe it.  After what had happened with Aiden he understood that he had been too possessive and that there was nothing left to do.

He leaned against a tree and started crying.  He was surrounded by sadness, loneliness and remorse and he tried not to sob too much as hot tears crawled down his cheeks.

Tom was walking around and saw him.  He felt bad for what he had done to Jake, but he had done it for specific reasons.

Tom approached the boy and sat down next to him

Tom 《when I tried he rejected me so it means he's loyal》

Tom was about to lose his temper and took a long sigh to calm himself down

Tom 《Look, I assure you that there is nothing between me and him, he doesn't want to leave his boyfriend for me and I don't want to either.  Aiden is just a good friend and I love his friendly.  Do you want to be overprotective like James?》
Jake 《And what would be the point?  We're not engaged anyway... and we're not even friends...》

Jake had his whole face wet with his tears and Tom tried to put his hand on his shoulder to try to reassure him but Jake took it away immediately.

Tom 《I'm sorry you feel like crap》
Jake 《You made me feel this way!  fuck you》

Tom 《I know and I'm sorry but-》
Jake 《it's your fault that I feel so bad every day》

Jake turned quickly to Tom and looked at him with wide eyes

Jake 《y-you're lying》
Tom 《No!  I missed you very much and I saw a bit of you in Aiden that's why I dedicated myself to him》

They smiled at each other.  Tom leaned in to kiss him, but Jake moved away.  Then he thought better of it and kissed him back
