Elvesburg High was something alright.
It was filled with gossip queens, drama, fights, sometimes drugs were even involved, but to be honest, that wasn't always the case.
My parents thought it was a good idea to in-role me here because of how well the school was...
That was a lie, of course...
The teachers didn't even touch on the subject of the fights and junk, they kept it all a secret...
And I, was just a guest of the nightmare that is high school.
But, somehow, I didn't have any issues with it all, I had nice and cool friends, my grades were pretty good, I didn't pay attention to class that much, but A's and B's came easily to me...
But, I swear, I always see something that flickers my eyesight commonly...
It was like a puzzle piece that I couldn't put together...
Something that fluttered with attention.
I didn't tell my parents, and nor do I plan to...
But...
I swear... I could see my sister, Charlie still....even though....is that possible?
I always ask the question, is she still alive?
I saw her brunette hair breeze in the wind, her hands, squeezing tight on her elbows, her face, looking as if she hasn't aged a day, tired, scared, and youthful.
Sometimes I call her name, but, there was never an answer to my voice...
Just a deep void full of silence.
Maybe i was just hoping to see her one final time...
Maybe it was just someone that looked like her...
Maybe...
I knew she was back...
But, she wasn't here with me...
If it wasn't for...
That monster who took her away....

Shoot! How long did I get lost in my thoughts?!
The cloudy weather beamed down on me with a gray-ish ray...
And honestly, that calmed me down a bit.
Cloudy weather does things to me than summer ever could.
I hurried across shops and stores, my shoes made a thump sound as I ran on the sidewalk, I made a sharp turn for the curve of the street.
There! The bus was fully in my gaze, it was all white (Which was weird but not getting to crazed out about)
It was pretty long for a bus.
It was making a stop at the other end of the sidewalk, where it was near the famous "
Angels Coffee Shop"That area was famous for its pastries and of course, coffee.
I ran towards the bus as fastly as I could, trying to catch up, it was still moving, but, the door was open as wide as it could be, it was heading near Appleton street.
Why was EVERY morning like this?!
I quickly made it through the street and jumped on the bus, grabbing the handle as tight as I can, I pushed myself inside of the bus.... Then.....
Landed straight on my face.
Crap...
I could here giggles and chatters.
"Bro straight up got a concussion"
"Did they just get brain damage?"
"Imagine eating the ground like that?"
"Guys, stop it! All they wanted to do was have their first kiss!"
That nauseated stupid voice...
Arty...
I didn't even want to get started on his bull-
"Alex! You okay?!"
I looked up, Damien, who was half sitting on the bus seat, in front of Assyria, who was also one of my friends.
But my eyes focused on Arty, he was sitting in a more distant seat....
That stupid smug on his face, his idiotic laugh...
Hated his laugh...
Oh, in case you haven't heard of the dump truck himself...
May I present, the dumbest bag of crap in the world: Arty Baxter....
Arty Baxter was one of a kind idiot, he had red-ish brown-ish hair that looked like it could swipe a punch out of you, dark hazel eyes which seemed to widened of you ever say something behind his back, and an voice that SCREAMED jealousy and vain.. in a somewhat attractive wa-
Not that I thought he was good-looking PSSH
Not at all...
Anyways, Arty seemed to be popular as well, well, that's what I thought, he was like a Heather Duke from The Heather's.
Mean, Cruel, and judgemental.
Not caring how others felt in any sort of way.
I didn't know his parents that well, or family, but, I do know that his father once was into literature...
And what was even worse was that he had a whole group of jerks as well...
But of course, the worst to me was Arty himself...
No wonder he got away with so many things, he kind of had a desired look, he was an average hight, fit, and wore those thick jackets pretty much all the time.
Arty was pretty much the whole package of a bitter piece of junk, he was late to almost very class, he made sure his goons spied on who he hated, and was beating me up brutally almost everyday....
I want to kick him and choke him until he's gotten what he deserves...
I was surprised that he wasn't a jock...
Well, he sure has the brains like a God dang jock-
I scoffed as Arty and his gang laughed wickedly
Damien scooted near the window to let me sit down, Assyria was sitting behind Damien.
"Those jerks...I can't believe how they act so immature so easily!"
Damien bitterly said, not in his usual calm and careful voice...
Damien, best on the swimmer team, and top A student in PE.
Damien was like a mom-friend to us, he always talked me out of fighting with Arty, he always made sure we were feeling okay or chill, and even when Arty was threatening us, he managed to keep his cool!
He also looked friendly and caringly, he had dark skin, deep curly brown hair, different colored eyes that were both green and blue, (which I thought were cool and unique, honestly that was the FIRST reason I ever been friends with him-)
He and I had some things in common, like how we both liked nerdy video games, how for Halloween, we both liked to scare ourselves and dump on cheesy movies.
"They're so stupid honestly, it's like their still 5 or something, no wonder none of them has a girlfriend!"
Assyria said, her voice held up in a scoffing and honestly true tone.
Assyria sounded still as sassy and buzzed as she was...Ah, that's my best friend...
And, I'm proud of myself for choosing the right choice.
Assyria was the trouble maker of the group, who always pranked called neighbors down town, who was the one how got us in trouble for sneaking out of school to check out the cafe worker, Sam....
I still don't know what she sees in him
...
He always had this bored look on his face and looked like every basic guy in a gas station-
She looked like a star compared to him-
She had flowing dark black hair that was always down and flowing, green cat-like eyes, a cutie mark (yes, that's what they're called) near her right eye, and, she had great fashion sense.
She mostly wore pink and black. (At least, she wanted to, she said her mom wouldn't let her and she would only allowed her to wear brown.)
Compared to me and Damien, she was pretty much the rebel of the group, and, even though we were complete opposites, we still got along!
I know I should hate her, mostly because when I first met her, I thought she was like Arty, but, she turned out pretty awesome actually!
I suddenly felt a hand softly lay on my shoulder.
"Hey, don't listen to them, Alex, they're probably just insecure about themselves..."
Damien said as he gave me a apologetic face.
"Surrreeee, I mean, does he look insecure?"
I said, pointing directly at Arty in the backseat of the bus. I mean, look at them! They're over there laughing their rears off!
"Well, I do admit, he seems somewhat screw-able..."
"Assyria! Not helping with the fact he beats me until I'm brused almost everyday!"
I bitterly whispered, turning my head slightly to glance at her, my face being a mixture of shock and anger.
"What, I'm just saying, most of his gang is! especially Ace~"
Damien then pitched in with a questioning tone, he made a confused face, turing over to Assyria.
"Wait, what happened to Sam? Thought you were down bad for him?"
Assyria made a "Oh, that was just a phase look"
"That was old news, it was just a phase, you know how I am!"
"Called it." I said with a sigh...
Well, if I had someone to help me survive in this crazy school, I'm glad I have them....
"Anyways, (Assyria rolled her eyes), You guys free on Friday? I thought we could go get fastfood or go to that cute mall downtown!"
Assyria said as she curled a tip of her hair, her face smirking in a day-dream a bit.
"S-sure, I guess, I'll see if I'm free out of swimming class!"
Damien shyly said, he chuckled quietly.
Hmm, something about those two....
Hmmm....
"What about you, Alex?"
I thought about it for a second, I guess I could, my mom would be fine, as long as I bring my safety spry and all.
And Stanley wouldn't mind it I guess, he would be at work....
"Sure...I'll tell my mom if I can!"
"Cool, see you guys in English!"
I was confused for a second, but then once the bus made a stopping sound, I knew it was time to go into the the arena that was school
...
I quickly picked myself up to avoid that fool, Arty.
Me and my friends made our way up to the main entrance of school....
Well, it was good while it lasted....
